I brought my car in because I recently got into a car accident. i let the estimator know that my car no longer responds to the of the accident I got into. he made it seem like it was my fault and they won't cover it. he made it seem like it was a battery issue and not an electrical issue. They do very shotty work.... I have bolts missing on my truck that they never reinstalled after swapping my frame out.... which caused more damage.... they left out 2 of 5 bolt on my mounting braket that mounts my differential to the trans an motor 0ver time it snapped in half an had my differential drop an snap an axle right in half... don't believe there lifetime warranty cuz that's not true yoy only get so many miles after there work apparently that's what I was told 100k miles been put on the truck an there not warranty it.... I still own the truck I'm not dead so where is this life time warranty on there work if you would have put everything back the way it was supposed to be I would have this problem...... strongly recommend anyone not to take there vehicle here or any Gerber as they are all the same... very very disappointed been told life time warranty on there workman's ship doesn't mean much since they can leave bolts out an not properly installing everything back to the frame with motor mounts I'm missing bold on motor mounts as well an motor been jumping around in there for a while now but yet they will not warranty it..... now that's CRAZY read more

Fantastic service! My boyfriend had a freak situation at his work site where another builder's product flew off a 5 story scaffold and damaged his windshield and other parts of his car. Quickly, he contacted our car insurance and they got in touch with Gerber Collision for repairs. This happened right before a holiday weekend. Despite that, he was well taken care of! Each day he would get emails regarding updates on what was going on with his vehicle. Awesome service! That really put us both at ease. In a few weeks time his car was ready for pick up! Did I mention the amazing service? The kind women at the desk greeted us with a smile and already knew who we were when walking in. A kind gentleman also greeted us and pulled the car up for pick up. Picking up the car was hassle free. Very convenient that we could drop off our rental car here and have them return it for us. After my boyfriend signed some papers we were on our way out the door! 2019 colorado zr2. Absolutely worst experience I ever had with a shop. From discovering loose parts. bolts. oil cap loose. electrical cable for the positive side was not even tightened. They screwed up my coolant system. Consistently blows cold air. Scratched my windshield from the inside. Other repairs. The bed in the cab met. The sports bar was lifted on the bed. The cab pushed into the sports bar To the point where it cracked the 3rd brake light they never replaced it or caught it. The lower radiator hose is rubbing against the swaybar. They're answer for that for the lower hose all that's supposed to be that way. I've never in my life have been talked to like I'm an idiot. I swear the technician is on crack. Not sure what's up with the 1-star review on here (the only other review, currently) but I used Gerber last week to repair my car and they were great. They're open on the weekend, also (9am to 12pm, on Saturdays). Someone hit my car in a parking garage in Detroit and didn't leave a note (yay ...) so I found Gerber because my insurance works with them. I brought my car in for a quick inspection last weekend, and they told me to bring it back the next week. I brought it on a Tuesday after work and they were done by that Friday. Gerber called me and sent me auto-texts during the week, too, to keep me apprised of how the work was going and when my car would be ready for pickup. Make sure to also go on their site and print the 5-day rental coupon - they work with Enterprise, at 14 and Van Dyke, and Enterprise will pick you up at Gerber and then return you to Gerber when you drop off the rental car. Not really related, but their bathroom is super clean, too ... I used it a few times while there and have never seen a cleaner bathroom, actually. Staff was friendly and knew what they were doing, also. Would definitely recommend this location and my car now looks like itself again. :) read more

Had my 2018 Dodge Charger gt serviced there for a front end accident that totaled $7k in damages yet the techs seem unable to properly attach a radiator hose as after a month of having my vehicle the hose explodes radiator fluid all over my engine bay. My 2010 Wrangler was rear ended on 375 and subsequently pushed into the vehicle in front of me. The Jeep took more of a hit than first appeared from the outside, but Gerber went ABOVE and beyond in straightening, repairing and replacing parts on my truck to bring it back to literally a new vehicle feel. This is the best body repair shop I have ever been to. My back bumper has been hit around 3 times. I went and got estimates from other places like local shops and other chains, I even thought about fixing it myself... I had no idea what to do. I went and got my oil changed at Uncle Ed's Oil Shop and asked them if they knew of any good places to fix my bumper. They recommended Gerber Collision. I went there, they listened to my concerns, and helped me out when I had little money to get it fixed. The next time someone hit me I was able to file insurance and they fixed my bumper completely, cleaned the inside of my car, and changed my headlight. I was so happy and my car looks next to new. I was referred to Gerber by my insurance company and was beyond satisfied with the service. Not only did they take my car in right away without an appointment (I wasn't sure it was safe to drive), but they completed the work much sooner than anticipated. And, the repair job was impeccable. My car looks brand new! I obviously wasn't planning on an accident and didn't have time to take it home and clean it out so the seats were a mess when I removed my kid's car seats. So embarrassing! When I picked it up today they had cleaned the inside of my car too! My husband and I were beyond impressed. Richard was absolutely amazing to work with and kept me updated throughout the entire process via phone and email.
