When I received the glasses and I couldn't see out of them, I found out from a subsequent visit to my orthoptist and another optician that both pair of glasses we made incorrectly and that the prescription in one pair was way off. When I contacted Eyes on Hudson about the issues, my concerns were met with exasperation and an overall unwillingness to work with me. I have since gone to another optician who specializes in difficult prescriptions. Perhaps Eyes on Hudson is very good for general glasses. But I would not recommend the business if one has any special needs.

I had to get help from the one person who was already speaking to the other customer. I asked to see a couple of frames in the different color WP offers. This store didn't have them. I wanted to check out a pair of frames that had sunglasses lenses in them. I asked the employee if they could pop out the lenses. (Something WP has done for me before) They wouldn't do it. I had done my research before going and knew which frames I wanted to see. There were quite a few they didn't have on display and, when I asked, the employee wouldn't look for them. They just said "we don't have them." I like WP, but will not go back to this location.

That completely defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. If appointments aren't going to be honored, what's the point of offering them?
