Places like this deserve zero stars. This location is a…read moreprime example of everything wrong with shady, independently owned service shops hiding under a big-name brand. I came in for a standard oil change and ended up being told I had to pay extra because the oil filter cap was "stuck." Funny -- no other mechanic has ever flagged this as an issue. And guess what? Whether it's stuck or not, removing it is part of a basic oil change. That's literally the job. But instead, they used it as an excuse to charge more -- a total upsell scam. Ended up paying over $300. This location made up their own rules, overcharged me for a job that should've been routine, and then dismissed my concerns when I tried to address it. I trusted Jiffy Lube, and my family has been using them for years -- but this experience has completely shattered that trust. If you're not mechanically inclined, beware: this place will take advantage of you. They rely on customers not knowing any better so they can pad the bill. Shame on this franchise and shame on Jiffy Lube corporate for letting them operate like this. I'll never return -- and if you value your time, money, or sanity, you shouldn't either.

My car ran so terribly afterward that I was honestly grateful when it eventually got totaled -- that's how bad their "service" was. In my experience, this place feels like the kind of shop that does the bare minimum, cuts corners, and leaves you with bigger problems so you're forced to come back and spend even more money. Absolutely the worst. Avoid this place at all costs.

I respect the no weekend hours thing for the employees to have work-life balance, that just means you have to think ahead when scheduling your oil changes, no biggie! The only time I was disappointed by that schedule was when I got a nail in my tire and had to take it somewhere else to get patched up. I appreciate that when I go for my oil changes, they also check the tires, brakes, etc. to make sure that the car is safe. In an "emergency," when my battery light popped on, they squeezed me into their busy schedule and let me borrow a car to get my daughter to and from school. Outside of the exemplary service, I appreciate how Busse is involved in the community. There is always a thank you note hanging on their wall and I know from my daughter's activities that they put money back into the community by sponsoring. I trust Busse with my car. I trust that they are doing what needs to be done to keep the car safe and not have me spend money. One piece needed to be replaced before the warranty on the work was expired and it was fixed in a jiffy at no additional cost to me. They always explain to me what is going on and always answer my questions patiently. As my daughter gets closer to the age of driving and cars, I look forward to her being the 3rd generation that utilizes their shop!

Honest review, I have gone to Busse for the majority of my car's work over the past 6 years; both…read morefor routine maintenance and also larger service. Unfortunately I'm going to be finding a new shop going forward. They are generally decent guys, but my car always leaves with a new issue after I bring it in there: ex 1. Long ago I brought in my car for normal service and I left with my radio signal not working in my car (it worked perfectly fine before bringing my car in). Their response when I told them that my radio stopped working after bringing it into them was essentially "Nothing we did to your car should have affected the radio signal. We can give you the names of some specialty shops nearby if you want to get it looked into.", so there was strike #1 - radio stopped working and I just have to accept that. ex 2. I keep my car quite clean in general, but I always leave their shop with oily smudge marks on my mirrors, window/window frames, steering wheel and grease marks on rims. For a place that also operates as a detail shop, it'd be nice to not leave with a car that got dirtier compared to when I brought it in. ex 3. Just recently I brought my car in for an oil change. I was contacted and notified that my sway bar links could use replacement if I wanted and despite it being a pretty heavy fee (~$400 I want to say) I went ahead and said let's do it. They stated that there was some rattling come from there, and for years now my car has had a quiet rattle that you can hear from the outside of it so I was hopeful that this would fix that. The outcome of this work was the following: 1. the rattle noise did not go away; 2. I have a new leak underneath my front right tire directly corresponding to where they did work; 3. my suspension makes a new, very bad sounding click/crunch noise persistently driving over normal terrain - also I feel that the ride of my car got noticeably harsher after this latest service. So I would say that overall, you will be impressed likely when you first go to them: they usually have openings to get you in quickly, they are conveniently located in downtown MP (I would just walk to the shop from my house) and they are responsive, but I would absolutely steer people elsewhere. Not only are the on the "premium" side when it comes to pricing to begin with, but I have had numerous issues post-service at their shop that I just have to suck up and deal with? Unfortunate that your car can just be made worse by a mechanic and they can just get away with basically saying "sorry that's happening" in the end.
