I always try to give businesses the opportunity to make things right and don't like giving businesses a hard time unnecessarily. Unfortunately, my experience here reached a point that I found completely unacceptable. Back in December, my Audi S4 needed several repairs. Out of all the shops in the area, I trusted this business with the work and spent close to 5,000 in totals They had my vehicle for almost two weeks, which I understood considering the amount of work being performed. However, when I received the car back, it wasn't boosting properly. Eventually, after further inspection, they discovered a charge pipe had not been properly tightened and was loose. My hood was also misaligned and had to be corrected after I returned. On top of that, my car was returned to me with greasy fingerprints/handprints left on it from the work. By itself, that might seem minor, but combined with the loose charge pipe and misaligned hood, it gave me the impression that there wasn't much attention to detail when my vehicle was being worked on or before it was returned to me. I overlooked all of these things because mistakes happen and I wanted to give them the opportunity to make things right. Months later, less than a year after the original repairs, my vehicle began malfunctioning again. I brought it back, and the problems involved components related to the previous work. I brought up the warranty provided with my original repairs. Initially, the owner told me the warranty only covered parts, despite the warranty language I had on paper stating otherwise. That position was later corrected. They also wanted me to pay for an additional hose and told me replacing it was "mandatory" before they could complete the warranty work. My question was simple: if replacing this hose is mandatory with this repair, why wasn't it replaced when the work was originally performed in December? I asked multiple times for the Audi documentation or service information showing that this replacement was mandatory. I was never provided with it. Instead of simply explaining the technical reasoning behind what I was being charged for, the owner called me "stupid" while I was questioning the additional repair. That completely changed my opinion of this business. I'm not an Audi technician. That's exactly why I pay professionals thousands of dollars to work on my vehicle. A customer should be able to ask questions about what they're paying for without being insulted, especially after already spending thousands of dollars with that business. I overlooked the loose charge pipe. I overlooked the hood alignment. I overlooked my vehicle being returned with greasy fingerprints on it. I gave them multiple opportunities because I understand that mistakes happen. But personally insulting a customer for asking for an explanation and documentation is where I draw the line. Based on my experience, I genuinely cannot recommend this shop to anyone looking for high-quality repairs, strong attention to detail, accountability, and professional customer service. When you're spending thousands of dollars maintaining a performance vehicle, you should feel confident in both the workmanship and the people you're trusting with it. If you're particular about your vehicle and expect high-quality work, clear explanations, and professional treatment when something goes wrong, I strongly recommend doing your research and considering other reputable shops before bringing your vehicle here. I would rather spend more money elsewhere for the peace of mind of knowing my vehicle is being handled carefully and that I can ask questions without being disrespected. They've permanently lost my business. With making claims and not being able to provide evidence It almost seem like they were lying . Not good business . I will be attaching the quote of what was done and my messages with Sam who I believe is the owner and what they wanted to charge me again for . I almost felt like I was being lied since he couldn't provide information to what he was telling me. Not good business here.

I normally go to other places when I don't have the tools, time, and or knowledge needed for some things. I will go over my first experience with this shop and why my wife and I go here when needed. I had an issue with an oil pressure sensor leak. I could see it, I know how much the part costs, and I know what needs to be done. However to actually access it would be a pain. I called them up and asked them how much it would cost to replace it. I believe I spoke to Steve and he mentioned generally about 200 or so. Now, that would be the case for many cars, but not this one. So I asked Steve if he could check book time. Book time is basically the amount of time, in a perfect scenario, it should take a mechanic to complete a task. They can then give you an estimate with respect to their labor rates. For example if hourly labor is 150 and book time for say changing a starter is 1h, they can say the labor cost will be $150. Steve looks at book time and is surprised because it's higher than normal about 2x more time and was wondering why. I mentioned, that to access it you have to essentially remove a few other components. He mentions, well, you can bring it in and we can take a look. I was hoping maybe they'd have easier ways of accessing it and mentioned I'm going to think on it a bit. I went under the car again and decided, "Nope. Too much work." I called back and setup an appointment. I drop off the car. I'm not happy with where the car manufacturers' engineers decided to shroud the oil pressure switch and essentially up the replacement cost but it is what it is. Anyway, I get a call back and the price I have to pay is essentially 1h and the part. I head on over and am very surprised. I forget the name of the mechanic (think it started with an M) but I asked them, "I'm surprised that you got it done so fast ... how?!" They mentioned they'd dealt with those cars before as they're common so they rigged up/made a special tool to reach in and do it. That was when I decided TrueTech is a stand up place. They could have charged book time and believe me you, I would've paid it. However they had a seasoned mechanic who knocked it out and passed those savings in their time, as savings in my pocket back to me. This isn't just a good honest mechanic being a good honest mechanic but also the higher ups, the managers and or owners. It seems that is their standard too as they've always been pretty booked which says they're more about doing good work in good time and if they make good headway, you may luck out. You may not, their call :-) but again, book time is perfect world setup, not rusted through, seized on, broken off ... stuff. It is still a good way to understand what you may be looking at aside from the actual part. Since then if and when needed, we go to TrueTech and we've always been happy. P.S. Once they have you in their system (i.e. e-mail / phone), their estimates app, progress, etc and everything is great. Especially if you have a smart phone. I saw where someone mentioned they had difficulty with getting a response and I haven't ran into that. If anyone does run into that, call them and just verify they have the right info.
