I went to the Porsche Dealership and they quoted me LESS THEN HALF of what they charged for being a little exhaust shop in the corner. Complete scammers and don't care about you just how much money they can milk out of you.

First off I told them it wasn't a rush job, but I'd like it back by the end of the week ( brought it in on a Monday), by Friday they still hadn't looked at it. Once they started looking at it, it took them 3 days to get it checked out and get an electrical problem fixed, but they still hadn't checked the oil leak. Once they checked the oil leak, all they said was it was a leak on the top of the engine and it wouldn't be much to fix. I was releaved it wasn't something bigger, but after a bill of close to a grand, I wasn't feeling right about it. Now fast forward a week later...more oil leaking. Did they even do anything for the leak? Or were they to incompetent to find the real leak? I'm not going back because at this point I don't want to put anymore money into a '96 car, but when I first had it in I probably would have paid for the correct repairs, and my daughters car wouldn't be leaving oil drops all over my driveway. Edit: Had to edit my review because I saw a previous review. I guess it changed ownership, but Mike told me Bob wasn't in, this probably explains the problems. BEWARE!!…read more my car died at the car wash and these guys were right next door, they told me my alternator is dead and that the battery harness needs to be changed. these guys charged me 1350 for a simple alternator change (WHICH WAS NOT NEEDED) then when I told him absolutely not that it's insane for that price, the guy "moe" or something, got super bummed out and said "you have to pay diagnostic fee -$250. I said "WHAT?!" This guy just checked it for probably 45ms and decided to still milk me after I told him no, then he calls me back 40m later saying he found a cheaper part for $900, embarrassing. My car died right there in the car wash when it happened so I felt like I had no choice. I just bite the bullet and paid him $200, plus a 10% fee for using card, very embarrassing. DO NOT GO HERE, THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF. Oh and I also got the car fixed by just cleaning my battery harness, no alternator changed needed.

She ended up getting a 2nd opinion and they confirmed that her tires and brakes were fine and they confirmed that Jeep will cover that suspension issue. D & R also kept the $107 to try to rob her of things she didn't need. Now she's going to another place that is 20-25 minutes away that were honest to her.
