I was in Germany last 2023 and had a pretzel in one of the bakeries in Neunberg. It reminded me of the pretzel I have tried in German Bread Bakery. I know that my experience was the other way around because you're supposed to taste something first from that country before trying it in the US. We were excited to visit and get some German baked goods but sadly everything we picked up today tasted like it was baked yesterday. They do have a yesterdays baked goods but that's not from what we purchased the pretzels and bread from. I even asked if the things were baked today and was told yes but having a pretzel crumble is not a sign of a today baked pretzel sadly. Don't think we will come back. read more

Avoid this place. Bread, rolls, pretzels are not fresh at all. I recently went to this place early on a saturday morning. I purchased several pretzels, pretzel rolls, German rolls. and Strudel. None of the items were freshly baked......they seemed to be day old at best. When I go to bakery early on a saturday morning I expect to receive items that have come out of the oven at 4 or 5 AM that day. Cant tell when these were baked, but they were dried out and hard. The strudel was given to me on a styrofoam tray in a paper bag, not in a box like a real bakery. Pretty low class! read more

There is something about German bakeries that hold a special place in my heart. Not sure if it's just because of how great their pretzels are after having a few in Munich or just the memories that I have but since I've been to Germany I look for German restaurants and bakeries wherever I go. I didn't even know this place existed until one of my friends told me about it so we went there a couple months ago pre-Covid and bought a bunch of crap. I don't recall having anything that tasted bad but let me tell you that their pretzel rolls and pretzel buns are fantastic... I cannot stress this enough If you go there you must buy at least one because they are delightful. I would also recommend getting a couple of the sweet treats too as they are wonderful dessert's. I'm not sure if they're open now or not but I would like to go back there for some carb loading in the near future! read more

Found this gem of a German bakery on Yelp. If you have never had a pretzel croissant, get here fast! Flaky, chewy with a nice savory flavor. I bought an extra one for breakfast the next day and it was still good after a little toasting. I found the loaf of bread a little dry for my taste, but it has no preservatives and are baked fresh daily. I will be back when I visit Las Vegas again. I was excited to see a German bakery very near where I had just eaten lunch. That excitement became mixed once entering the bakery. The shelves were full of great looking pastries. But one of the items in the display case was day-old Danish pastry. Now if those pastries are fresh out of the oven, they are heavenly. If it's a few hours old, it's still pretty good especially if warmed up first. But if it has been sitting around a day or so ... well, it will have become dried out and not really worth eating. I went ahead and bought a couple of items. The first were some macaroons. Those were fresh and quite tasty. I also bought some glazed dessert cake for after dinner. It had good flavor but sadly it's magic was spoiled because, I suspect, that like the Danish pastry mentioned above, it had been sitting out for more than a day and was very dried out and somewhat crumbly. The last thing I noticed was that though the countertops in this bakery looked clean, the floor under the racks behind the counter looked neglected and in need of a clean mop. read more

Basically I've been denying myself carbs and sugar for the past 2 months and in a moment of weakness after eating a giant poke bowl, I decided to search for bakeries and out pops German Bread Bakery. Devil Horn Emoticon! I walked over from the adjacent plaza and found a bright, spacious bakery with a few sweet offerings between $3-4 each. After careful consideration, I went with the fruit cake and scarfed half of it down in the parking lot. It's not super sweet which is good and I love the crust. They also carry a small selection of Germany sausages in the refrigerator. Not a bad place to stop by when you're feeling devilish for carbs. read more

The employees are so sweet the wafer cookies from there side market are all natural and imported fresh from Europe in numerous flavors people this brand is hard to find and its not even marked up in price they are a truly honest people loving small town family run bakery. Their beesting cake is pretty darn good and would totally recommend a visit to this quaint bakery. We picked up a couple other cakes too that were good, but not a great as the beesting. The beesting cake looks very rich and decadent, but once you have a mouth full, with hopefully a side of vanilla bean ice cream, you'll see that the flavors are pretty balanced and won't leave you in diabetic shock. They offer traditional apple strudel, poppyseed strudel and crazy good cheesecake, black forrest cake and incredible bee sting cake. Seriously...try the bee sting cake! They have a lot more too. Bakery selections are plentiful from different danish, crumb cakes, pretzel breads, almond horns, cheese sticks, and a wide array of whole loaves that they will be happy to slice for you. There really isn't not much you can write about a small German bakery considering all they offer is German pastries and pretzels. Me and Ellen F. came here after a hearty breakfast next door and decided we weren't finished stuffing ourselves yet. We've been here several times and we always get pretzels and pretzels rolls, they are to die for! These are some of the most authentic German pretzels I've had since I've been to Munich. They are cooked just right and have just enough salt on them that isn't too much. Along with the pretzels I also get a Berliner which is equally awesome. Good amount of powdered sugar and not stingy on the filling, these are puffy so to me you get more bang for the buck so to say. The lady that helped us is always friendly and courteous. She was extremely patient while I picked which Berliner I wanted from their glass display and rang us up promptly. If you like German pastries or snacks this is the spot to go to, there aren't to many in town. read more

I was there for the first time and blond lady in middle age was keep talking to customers and didn't care about line. She was saying about hr personal stuff and no one from customers didn't care, they just wanted to pay and leave and she kept talking to customers at the register. Then she was complaining that it's never busy and then people come at the same time ‍ I had to wait 10 minutes in line and it was only 2 people in front of me because that lady was standing and talking to lady at the register and didn't care at all that other people are waiting in line. Absolutely wonderful little bakery in this part of town. We stop by every weekend to grab some bread. Their crunchy farmer is my favorite sourdough bread I've had. Makes fantastic breakfast toast. Bakeries generally don't keep my Night Owl hours, so it wasn't easy. But I found myself nearby at the right time, and bought two more boxes. They're prepackaged and on the shelf. The bread pickings were slim by the time I got there, but I scored a loaf of walnut bread, too. The bread has the hard crust that I love, but is so hard to find in Vegas. We were kindly greeted upon entry and not pressured in the least to "make a choice and buy something". We spent several minutes just looking around and taking it all in.
