It's fairly convenient, and more or less equidistant between my place and one of my friends who I play with reasonably often (and who is MUCH better than me...). My last round here was 7/23/2021, and if you're reading this review the same year that I wrote it (2021), you'll likely remember that it rained almost every day for several weeks. Suffice it to say, everything is VERY lush and green this year. The greens were irritatingly slow still, leaving oh so many putts coming up short due to my inability to adjust, but I must say it was refreshing to have what I'd consider an average course have almost zero heavily worn-in or sunburnt spots. I think I moved the ball once all 18 due to a poor lie from lack of growth, and one other time due to it being too muddy and not wanting to risk my new shoes. In terms of the course design and layout, I do have to admit that there aren't many holes that I'd consider memorable. Not much in terms of elevation change or ponds, and sand traps are rarely a challenge (and almost none that aren't right by a green). Overall I think the front nine is more fun, but the back nine is also narrower and more wooded, so it's a little more challenging to keep it in play. The layout also notable requires little walking between holes and zero unnecessary backtracking, so it's very walkable, but if all else fails they have carts that function just fine as well. I can't comment on the food, as I've never had any here. At most I'm usually looking for a quick hot dog at the turn, or maybe a couple drinks during or after the round. Somewhat agreed with one reviewer from a few years ago that the pricing is a few dollars too steep, but it's on par with (ugh, that was unintentional, I swear, but I'm going to leave it) and in some cases less than the other comparable courses nearby (e.g. Topstone, Twin Hills), and a few dollars isn't going to buy my gas and time to go much further. There's admittedly some others slightly further away that are cheaper (e.g. Ledges or maybe St. Anne?), but as a pseudo local they aren't a better overall investment of my time and gas money. Overall, would I go out of my way for this course? Probably not. I'd consider it a very viable option for the 30-minute radius crowd, however, and a fairly viable option for those slightly further away looking to mix it up. Maybe mix it into your rotation if you haven't yet.

I went to the bar and ordered a vodka and club. I watched him pour the club in first to the top and then sprinkled a few drops of vodka over it. I questioned and told him I saw what he did, and he took the drink back and wouldn't serve me the rest of the night. Other people were charged $21 per drink when in fact, the drink was $10. Another's husband went back to the bar 3 times because no liquor was in the drink. My brother was charged 3 different prices for the same brand of beer. Very, very unprofessional, and no customer service skills. When the bartender was questioned by other guests as to why he wouldn't serve me, he told them that I was rude and he could give me a breathalyzer. How embarrassing for me at my 50th when that would've been my second drink.

It is not a well thought out track, in fact 6,7, and 8 are a bit tight and confusing. It is fun. I will also say it is in great condition. Compared to places like Copper Hill (E Granby), Edgewood (Southwick MA) or Airways (Suffield) it is the same quality, tighter and maybe more fun! It is only 9 holes but it is a gem.

Maybe not all guests tipped but that should not concern me since I, the person renting, was tipping. A deposit is for damages, not for lack of tipping. It's because we are Hispanic. We used to B_entertained to supply the rentals for our wedding reception at Egerton Park. As we prepared for the event, they made mistakes. For example, they sent us quotes that were triple the price of what they should have been, and which we would've had to pay if we hadn't contested them. In every zoom meeting, Mike kept his camera off, which felt creepy and unprofessional. The company was also unclear about their cancellation and 72 hour policies. However, we took this in stride, and we were ready to let them work things out. We thought we were having a communicative experience with their customer service, and were hopeful that it would go well. At the reception, the generator shorted out one hour before the end of the event. We had paid for the larger generator, but it still gave out. Fortunately for us, our family and friends pulled together and used phone lights to keep the dancefloor lit. We brought our own speaker that was battery powered, and without it, the music would have stopped too. I'm very grateful we didn't also hire a DJ through this company, as their equipment would have stopped working when the generator did. What was most disappointing to me was my experience when I called Mike to discuss this with him. I expressed my frustrations in the hopes that he could explain what happened. But Mike was combative, aggressive, and told me that it was our fault. When I made that phone call, I was prepared to write a review about how, even though the generator stopped working, they worked with us to find a solution. But Mike hung up on me before I had even finished talking. I hope the recording of the call will be made available to me. If he had dealt with me on the phone call kindly, then I would be writing a very different review. But I am immensely disappointed with the service, this reaction, and the way that he treats you once he has your money. I do not recommend this company.

The DJ was at the perfect level of excitement for the group, we had a combination of fun dances and popular songs. The music quality was perfect, and they even brought lighting to make the dance mood under the tent even more fantastic! The sound system for the ceremony (we had our own violinist) was just what we needed, and mics didn't have any quality issues. Highly recommend their services!

I had my catalytic converter cut out of my car overnight and found out from other women in similar situations that it was a regular occurrence that interval house WAS in fact aware of. Because I did not make enough money, and now had no working vehicle, they left me to be homeless because I could not relocate my entire life from Hartford county all the way over to Windham, almost an hour a day. I was referred to 211 and left to either live in a broken car in a hotel parking lot or go back to my abuser's house, because CT is a not a right to shelter state and 211 doesn't give immediate shelter. My worker, Edna, did absolutely NOTHING to help me find some kind of help in the county I lived in and needed to stay in due to the several doctors and daily appointments I could not just move to Windham. I ended up spending all of my savings just to stay in the hotel for as long as I could but without any friends or living family I now am living back in my abuser's home where I am struggling to survive on a daily basis. They will not help you. They will hang up the phone on you. You are better off being homeless or hoping to God you get someone else that maybe will help. This place did nothing to help someone who was abused their entire life. I was left to fend for myself and now I'm back to square one. I was told maybe they weren't the right program for me. Don't expect anything from them.
