They got that custom mix soft serve machine which is pretty much like a blizzard that they mix flavor concentrate into rather than mix ins. It's a decent quality soft serve base, and the price is reasonable for the area. It's not award winning or great, but it's good enough. I would skip the flavors (lots of them have the extract problem where the concentrate has too much chemicals in it which translates to the ice cream). But it's quick and decent ice cream.

During the fall I always get my apple cider from here and they even have hot samples on site. And we especially enjoy the garlic! It's much better than what you get in the grocery store. The woman who runs it also provides many free recipe cards! If you're in the area definitely check this place out. It's great to support small family run businesses like this one. While I've never done this here, I believe they allow apple picking during the the season.

Judging and the awards ceremony occurs late October usually a week or so before Halloween. This is our fifth contest and perhaps the largest we've seen to date, interest has been growing steadily since it began 6 years ago. Local vendors and artisans promote their crafts: jewelry, home made jams, jellies, preserves, bake goods, scarfs and artwork. The 4H club brings animals for display and petting making the event very interesting for younger children. This is a day of good wholesome family fun day, connecting attendees to rural life on the farm.

It takes a bit to get that mature pine smell you're used to but that means the tree lives longer. Mine didn't start shedding until after Christmas. Strawberries - As of today, my strawberry flat is their Facebook cover photo. For $2.99/lb, it is a great price. You're getting a variety of sweet, tart, plump, large and small strawberries. They're open until 8pm so it's a fun post-work activity.

The entrance fee is well worth the time spent here and the excitement you'll see on your toddler's face the entire time. The grounds are very clean and safe and there are workers monitoring the area nonstop and even parking attendants! I cannot wait to take my daughter back we both had so much fun.
