But this is what blew me away. Not the alternator, but replacing the engine-cover plastic clips that were missing before I brought my Rav in. Did they have to do that, of course not. Did they charge me? No. Did they mention them? No. That got me thinking of the time before I brought my 2008 in. Although they addressed the light configuration on the dash as planned, I believe they also addressed replacing batteries on my TPS sensor system for the tires. Again, did they charge me. No. Did they tell me? No. Conjecture on my part - as this light hasn't come on for the last several thousand miles; but I believe they replaced the batteries to quietly show off their exemplary service. I have a 2006 truck with 212,000 miles and i was certain i was experiencing a significant transmission issue. Hard shifting, popping into tow haul, and difficulty in shifting to a higher gear. Tranco thoroughly checked the truck's transmission and test drove it with multiple mechanics. They found the issue. My GPS tracker was interfering and corrupting the tuner software i had previously loaded on the truck. Unplugging the GPS tracker completely resolved the issue and my tuner continued to work perfectly. Saved me many $$$'s. Tranco is honest and they know transmissions. They had a list of $1800 of "urgent" repair one of which was new brakes, a complete brake job which I had done in the previous 6 months. When I dropped the car off the coolant tank was full, it was hot out, when I got the car back they said I had a coolant leak and the tank was empty however I have cardboard on floor go the garage so I can tell of something is leaking sign of leaking.
