Brown's on Wyoming saved my car! I won't be going anywhere else. Topnotch service, both in the care of my vehicle, as well as going above and beyond customer service. They even take photos of the parts in your car that they're concerned about, so you can understand their process. It's really stellar. I came to them after another shop in the area took me on an emotional ride (pun intended) when I went in for a 100k mile maintenance check. Long story kind of short, this other shop broke a part in my engine that caused a gnarly oil leak. They denied it, and then tried to get me to buy two new cylinder heads (for $5500, and my heads were totally fine). I was looking at buying new cars and feeling pretty overwhelmed. A friend had referred us to see Jeremy at Brown's and I am so grateful he did. Mike and Jeremy were incredibly patient with me telling them my whole saga and seemed determined to right this unfortunate wrong. Cliff was an absolute doll, who saw to my ailing Rhonda, a '69 Cadillac Deville that was barely stumbling along. Turns out she just needed some carburetor maintenance and a couple other random things. He stayed late that night (to his wife's dismay) to wait for me to pick it up after hours, and gave me a thorough report and some recommended additional maintenance that was admittedly not immediately critical. This place over charges like a m****** on top of that. They're literally there to squeeze as much money from you as possible. I called with a basic request for a quote on a fuel pump replacement and they wouldn't give it to me saying they need to inspect first to see other problems, cracks, etc. so they made me pay $200 for an inspection. When the inspection was done, turns out all I needed was a of fuel pump replacement exactly what I was asking for a quote on so I can make sure they won't overcharge me. Well guess what, they overcharge. They want 1300 for a fuel pump on a 350z. Would've been great if they had let me know the price since this is exactly the service that I was asking for that way I would've known how much they overcharge. read more

Well, they fixed the issue.... Too bad it took a negative review to get it done though. It just confirmed, never leave any mechanics shop without checking the work, or looking under the hood at least. No, a Manager shouldn't have to double check a mechanics work, it should be a given. The mechanic (He or she) should not have to be spoon fed either. Lesson learned by the shop (I think maybe) ,and for sure myself. I am willing to give them another try. offered to replace my Rack and Pinion and fix my electrical issue in exchange for $8000! Replaced my rack and pinion myself for a fraction of the price. They also lied about my K member being damaged in an attempt to squeeze money out of me. One of the members did offer me a ride to my residence after I dropped off my car for a diagnosis, but the service was so terrible I cannot rate any higher than one star. *WOULD NOT RECOMMEND* read more

I highly recommend Don's Auto & Service Center. On two occasions I brought in vehicles with vexing problems. The staff at Don's performed excellent work in helping me to resolve the issues. Don' s staff is skilled, friendly and approachable. I can't stress enough how rare it is to find a repair shop that listens to your concerns and then takes the time to clearly explain the issues. On both occasions they thoroughly investigated the problem and resolved it. On my most recent visit with a 1940 vehicle they arranged for an expert on these vehicles to come in and explain my problem. I have never experienced this level of customer support. Finding a reliable and trustworthy auto repair facility can be challenging and bad choices can be frustrating and expensive. I recommend Don's as the answer to this problem. read more

My husband and I were traveling across the country when my power steering faulted near Albuquerque. We tried calling a couple dealerships since my car is under warranty but they couldn't even diagnose the problem for 3-7 days. We looked up nearby mechanics and came across Brown's Automotive Experts. Cliff and Dustin were so nice and accomodating. They prioritized us being travelers and no where to stay. They let us stay in the office for the entire time my car was being worked on and even reccommended lunch places for us. They even offered to drive us to get food or a possible hotel if it came down to us staying another night. Some of the mechanics even gave my dog some treats. They explained everything and showed us pictures of what had to be done for my car. They kept us updated during the entire process. We were able to hit the road same day and continue our drive to the east coast. Everything ran perfect for the remainder of the trip (about 1,800 miles). We cannot thank these guys enough. We were in what could have been a very difficult situation, but they treated us like family. read more

So impressed with the crew at Don's Auto, especially Cliff, GM.  While on a short visit to see my 83 yr young mom, heard a horrible screeching sound. Took vehicle to Pep Boys  as they were the only mechanic-type shop open on a Sunday. Unsatisfied w/ their confidence of assessment and skill, I  was referred to Don's. First thing Monday morning, Cliff took my call, patiently listened to my highly caffeinated assessment and kindly stated he would work me in to review the issue that day.  Eventhough short staffed and full bays, Cliff took time to review the issue, asked great questions, and worked  us in within 72 hrs  for the repair. He communicated well, called  me to review the progress, and before I pummeled him w/ follow up questions, he kindly and clearly told me what to expect from our vehicle that had just had major surgery. My Ford F150 is my primary transportation and is very important to me; so when it suddenly started displaying the dreaded "check engine light". I immediately called Don's Auto & Service Center and setup an appointment for the next morning. When I arrived the staff checked it out right away - no wait. In less than 30 minutes they diagnosed the problem, a bad wire between the coil pack and spark plug; a simple and inexpensive fix. Their diagnoses was right on and the fix solved my problem. They also checked the other critical systems, topped the oil off and gave my truck a clean bill of health. The staff was very knowledgeable, polite and honest. I was so relieved to find a great service facility that I can count on to honestly diagnose, repair and advise me on keeping my most important asset dependably running. Was looking for a dependable honest mechanic for my old 94 Toyota Camry and had been to several other recommended shops however I will forever entrust any vehicle I own to Don,s Auto. The owner was happy to show me exactly what the problems were and estimated cost in print out. He wanted to know my name, shook my hand and even offered me a donut! Diane in the office is great. My car has been restored to driveable safe condition. I also received calls on the progress. The shop is clean. In no way is this a negative but waiting area is limited and if you live far from them you will need a cab or a ride home to work etc. But its worth it because they are trustworthy and knowledgeable. read more

I called Don's to schedule a pre-sale inspection of a used vehicle. They provided a free once-over, and did so in a timely, courteous manner, even though I changed the appointment twice. They gave me some information that was functionally important, including some feedback that the dealer didn't expect.
