I found Sparky's on the internet and contacted them to help out with replacing a headlamp. I went to Pep Boys awhile back and was told it would likely be over $200.00 because they had to remove part of the engine to do this. I had decided I needed to go someplace that specializes in Subaru's so I can get people that know how to replace the lamps without charging me to learn. Sparky's is reasonable, I trusted them immediately, completely. There is some maint that would be recommended, but my car is fine. The are honest and straight foward, no making up things to take advantage. I asked about the oil changes, even these would be less expensive than what I pay at Jiffy Lube. I have never written a review on Yelp before, but I truly believe that Sparky's deserves whatever boost my 5 stars can give it. I took my '05 Outback to another dealer in town, and got the usual "everything is broken" spiel. Thinking they were just trying to up-sell me, I decided I would give it a second opinion and heard about Sparky's online. I took it in, and within a day, I had a much lower quote. You could really tell that those guys knew what they were talking about, and they did this because they were passionate about Subarus. I had been a loyal customer for two years until they charged me 3x the dealer's rate for a 90k service ($1000 instead of $377). I had noticed a few higher than normal repairs earlier, but since they helped me so much the first time, I was willing to overlook it. When I pointed out the discrepancy, Ben told me they did extra work (all they did was new spark plugs) and what a favor he was doing by dropping the price $265. Really sad how the longer you stay, the more they take advantage of your loyalty. Don't trust these guys. read more

Took my '00 Outback in to get the struts on all 4 corners replaced, they recommended new tires and replacing the transmission mounts. Work was fairly priced and done quickly. Ben and Brittany are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I've been to both Garcia Subaru locations as well as Reincarnation Subaru in the past. This was by far my best experience. I bought a used 09 Outback recently and had these guys take a look at it before I purchased it. They really know their stuff! They gave me a rundown of what was only some minor repairs it would eventually need.
