Customer service on the sale AND the maintenance has been great! I couldn't ask for better service for my 2018 CR V.

Not a good experience. Drove from Mooresville and given approx 30minutes time. No test drive of a Ridgeline by the salesperson.

I bought a 2003 BMW 325i from Jake Alexander Auto Sales in Salisbury NC back in September. The car…read morehad relatively low miles at 111k. I was told there were no issues with this car. I was even told by the owner, Steven McCullough, that Randy Hall Automotive had done a thorough check up of this car before he sold it to me. Randy says he never saw the car before I brought it to him for repairs within a month of purchase. The first weekend I had issues with the car. I called Steven and he said to take it to Randy Hall which I did. Randy did a bunch of work on the car...replaced some things including the brakes and then it seemed ok. At this point Steven has covered the repair costs since I told him from the beginning that I had issues. He told me numerous times, "We will take care of you". A couple weeks later I had more issues. The car wouldn't shift from Reverse to Drive...Steve then gave me a loaner car and sent mine to a friend of his who works on BMWs. "Peter" replaced a sensor and some hoses. He also told me my car may possibly need a new transmission. An independent transmission guy told me that same thing!!!! I panicked as I bought it in good faith because of what awesome condition the car was in according to Steven. I have had nothing but issues with this car from the beginning which are noted by the dealership because I've been by there and called many times with these issues. I went with my boyfriend to a Christmas party this past Saturday night and we got less than one mile from my house and the car felt like it wasn't getting gas. It slowed and RPMs went way down several times. We turned around and took it back home and got his truck instead. Yesterday I was on my way to Peter's to let him check it out since he works on BMWs and it cut off and left me stranded on the side of the road. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this dealership. I feel Steven KNEW this car was a bad one when he sold it to me!!

When is YELP GOING TO HAVE NEGATIVE STARS? WARNING WARNING!!!…read more I hope that YELP does not remove this review for being so harsh.. Before I start this review I want to warn you that I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORSE ENEMY HERE. And I would not have written this review at all and waste my time had I not experienced this with a my friend and to warn buyers not to purchase a vehicle at this place,.And I will make this short and sweet as possible. 1) A few days ago a friend ask if i would go with her to " look for a car " the one she haw was starting to mount up on repair bills. At this point I told her and she new that I am not the mechanic type basically I was going for moral support( I think) 2) So we stop at this used car lot ( I know used) she sees a Volvo station wagon I think it was a 2001 low mileage body looks great, leather sunroof or moon roof as they call them,, tires with good tread from what I saw( Pirellii's) but, it was noticed on had a plug in it I know most places will do even do that anymore . So you want to drive it? the manager Steve asks so we do runs very well. Little did he knew I had mt laptop and was running a kelly Blue book value and a carfax report on the car while we where driving. 3) So no wrecks but there where repairs done and it seemed ike a alot . You could not see it from the entries it had engine repairs. We came from the drive the salesman said " you want that great car?" Friend glanced at me and I was waiting to say not I was even shacking my head slowly no but, she had made up her mind. 4) So he says make sure " you get all your items form the old car old car which I did while she was signing paper work. 5) Paper work done except for a few items check written for down payment keys in hand they told her just take the car drive it make sure you like it come back Monday and we will have `everything taken care of . So she takes time off from work to finish the darn paper work and there is also some sort of reason that some of a issue one after another another issue.that she was asked that was never asked before 6) So l said to myself he is stalling plus the fact that we found oil on the ground under the car on the driveway. Not knowing anyplace would be open I stooped at a place close by the location at they wanted $500-600 dollars.for the repair Then I went to another places they said at least said it would be around 1000.00 or more DO NOT purchase A CAR HERE ! I GUESS I WOULD FEEL BAD IF SOMEONE (. How can you look At your self in the mirror???? GOT INTO THIS CAR AND IT BREAKS DOWN WITH MAJOR WORK NEEDED She barely got her money back!!! I wonder how many times this has been done to ????

This place is now called Central Automotive…read more A family member, who works a full-time job during the week, took on a second job, working 12-hour nursing shifts every Saturday and Sunday for months without a single day off, just to save enough money to surprise her husband with a Jeep for his 40th birthday. It was an incredible sacrifice, and she was so excited to make this gift special. She brought the Jeep to Central Automotive several times for repairs and maintenance to get it ready. On June 24, she returned because the check engine light had come back on. The shop diagnosed additional repairs totaling about $1,000, which she authorized. On July 1, she picked up the Jeep to take it to the local Jeep dealership so they could clear a code the shop couldn't clear. That's when the dealership discovered the catalytic converter was missing--it had been stolen while the Jeep was in this shop's possession. When you leave your vehicle with a repair shop, you should be able to trust that it will be returned in the same condition, aside from the repairs you authorized. That basic expectation was completely shattered. A vehicle left in the care of a professional repair facility should not come back missing major components because it was left vulnerable to theft. Instead of taking responsibility and working through their insurance, the shop gave her the runaround for more than a week. She was first presented with an outrageous $8,000 estimate to replace the catalytic converter, then later offered a reduced quote of about $1,600, claiming they weren't charging labor. Regardless of how they justified the pricing, she still ended up paying out of pocket to replace a part that was stolen while the Jeep was in their custody. What makes this even more concerning is that vehicles are routinely left outside overnight despite the shop having multiple service bays where they could potentially be secured. If this is how customer vehicles are handled, then anyone considering leaving a vehicle here should understand that there is apparently no guarantee it will be adequately protected while in the shop's care. Customers entrust repair shops with some of their most valuable possessions, and that trust means taking reasonable steps to safeguard them--not leaving them exposed and then expecting the customer to absorb the loss if something is stolen. Before posting this review, I reached out to the shop myself in the hope that they would acknowledge what happened and make things right. Unfortunately, my attempt to contact the shop received no response, so small claims court it is. The financial burden was frustrating enough, but what was really heartbreaking was seeing the excitement surrounding this special birthday gift disappear. What should have been one of the happiest moments for their family became stressful, expensive, and deeply disappointing because of the shop's lack of accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business. If you leave your vehicle here, understand that if something happens to it while it is in their possession, you may be left paying the price yourself.

Update: a friend wanted the vehicle to see if he could get it running in his spare time. A few…read moremonths later, he told me that I wouldn't believe what he found. He stated that he found three of the fuel injectors that weren't reconnected when Central Automotive was messing with the vehicle.. Once he reconnected the fuel injectors, the vehicle ran fine. So, basically we were out of vehicle due to the incompetence of this facility. If Tom, at Central Automotive, would have just checked his work, they should have found that and I would still have the vehicle today. Instead, I had to purchase another vehicle, which I did not want to do at the time. Update 2: Spoke with Tom today and his excuse for his lies about the vehicle not having oil in it was that he misspoke because according to the record he has it did have oil in it. His excuse for not reconnecting the 3 fuel injectors was because "we are human and humans make mistakes". But, honest, ethical humans would check their work to make sure they had not made a mistake when asked to do so. Which he would not. And, they would not suggest that I trade a vehicle that they knew had issues. He asked what I wanted from him. I said to sincerely apologize and consider at least a partial refund. He said that he fixed my vehicle (he made it worse) and I already gave him a bad review. So that was not an option. Very dishonest, unethical person!!!!
