That is ok not a big deal, I guess I didn't want to stare at the ladies behind the counter while they were busy chit chatting. My makeup was pretty well done and customized to what I wanted. However they did not have enough lipstick shades to match the shade I wanted. At the end my lips looked pretty bad. My eyes and everything else looked great (to begin with). When it came time to do my hair, I was turned sideways for some reason so I couldn't see the mirror. Granted I should've asked to be turned but I trusted the stylist to do as I asked (I came with a picture). However the stylist in front of me (her client's seat was also turned sideways) was blowdrying hair and the air kept hitting my face. I'm pretty sure it melted some of my eye makeup because by the time I was done my makeup had fallen off a bit underneath (and it wasn't fixed despite asking). Once my hair was done being styled I was turned around to face the mirror and it looked horrendous, nothing close to the picture I had shown. I had to ask her to blow dry half the hair out and not to mention I'm sure I had a lot of heat damage. She did put in effort into trying to redo it so I tipped her well for her time and effort. At the end I had to come home and fix a bunch of things after my 2 hour appointment. I guess my point is to speak up and make sure you're facing the mirror the whole time so you can see what's going on. It would also be nice to be greeted right away.

She helped my mom find some toner to match her skin, some lipstick, and an eye pencil and then also helped me find a new lipstick and an eye shadow pencil, which I loved so much I purchased in two colors. I know that Ulta is a large cosmetics brand, but I do appreciate the attentive customer service, affordable and versatile options, and convenient locations. I'll be back!

In the appointment notes, I specifically stated that the makeup was for a graduation, and when my daughter sat down in the chair, she also clearly requested a natural look. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The appointment took over an hour, which immediately concerned me because professional makeup applications I've experienced in the past for senior pictures and prom were completed much more efficiently and looked flawless. Instead, my daughter came home with extremely heavy makeup, thick black eyeliner, overly dark brows drawn in with black pencil despite her having brown hair, and a dramatic smoky eye look that was completely inappropriate for the soft, natural graduation look she requested. To make matters worse, the foundation did not match her skin tone at all. She looked extremely washed out in person and in photos. We ended up having to completely wash off her face before graduation and only kept the lashes because the eyeliner was so difficult to remove. I truly do not enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially regarding someone's work, but for a $90 service, I expected much better professionalism, technique, and attention to the client's requests. My daughter should have felt beautiful and confident for such an important milestone, and instead we were left stressed and scrambling to fix the makeup ourselves before graduation. I would recommend going to Ulta for products, but unfortunately I would not recommend booking makeup services with this artist based on our experience.

This is in the strip mall right near Planet Fitness, on Orchard Lake Rd. The place is rather huge which I was not expecting. I was getting a pedicure and my friend was getting a blowout. We were both very happy with our experiences here. The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is that it's a bit pricey, although I believe it's on par with other places in the area. Both of our services were $50 each before tip, and I got a regular pedicure, not a gel pedicure; a gel pedicure would have been $75. Other than that it was a very nice place and I would return for a manicure or pedicure.

They charged me TWICE. Once for a deposit when I made the appt in case I was a no show, then again when I was a "no show." Doesn't make sense, make sure to check your card statements. Didn't bother to call me to ask if I was okay or on my way. Literally tried to scam me by charging me twice, even though they had my deposit in case I was a "no show". I have never been a no show to any appointment in my life, especially not an appointment I waited months for. Tried charging me over $200 for services that I did not receive. So greedy. Will never return.
