Zumba with Tatiana and Orlando is a must try! You will burn more calories that you will at the gym!

When the Zumba craze started several years ago, classes at LA Fitness were a pain in the ass to get into. Some, you had to arrive early and get a pass/sign up, others they would count how many people would walk in, so if you were #51 in a 50 limit class, you were SOL. I do not pay a gym membership to be turned away from an exercise class. Luckily, through a series of events, I found Get Fit Factory. I started going to their original location inside a badminton center and even though at times it would get crowded, I was not turned away! Due to a medical condition, I was not able to attend classes for over a year. During that time, they moved to a new location. During my hiatus, I was still included in texts from the owner, Tatiane for upcoming special events/schedule changes and even an email or two to see how I was doing. Tatiane (as well as Alfred and Brenda) is very welcoming, friendly and actually knows her members by name. They offer several different types of classes (I just do their Zumba classes, mainly with Alfred and Tatiane). The classes are high paced and fun. Another definite plus is that they offer different choices regarding membership-you can pay a monthly fee or pay per class, which is very economical if you only attend a couple times a week. They always make sure any new instructors are skilled and up to the level and expectations of their members. I have attended classes at LA Fitness (and other studios) with subpar, boring, unskilled instructors which can be frustrating as hell. I love to work out and try and stay in shape as best as I possibly can. Doing different workouts so I don't get bored and stay in a rut is something I try to do very often and I was able to do that exactly with Zumba. I have to say Denise Hernandez is a great instructor at Get Fit Factory she changes the routines and songs makes it different New and Fun! Oh my absolute goodness! I was researching fitness classes and had stumbled upon Get Fit Factory. So, after extensive research and stalking reviews (plus an average 5 star rating), I decided to go tonight for Tony's Get Fit class. I thought that this was going to be a chill, get some sweat out kind of class..I was totally wrong! This class totally rocked my boat and made me work! Everyone is nice and the class was very fun! Needless to say.. I was telling myself "TAP OUT TAP OUT!!" however! The atmosphere of the class, instructor, and everyone else was more like "TAP IN TAP IN!!" Tatiana is the owner of this place and is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about health and fitness. Get Fit Factory consists of multiple different types of classes which makes me love this place even more!! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to shed some but all the while having fun with great instructors and pumping music! read more

This place has moved since I last reviewed it - they now have their own studio! It's a cute place but of course, the main draw is the owner, Tatiane (aka the big boss) and of course my favorite instructor, Leslie. Zumba on Tuesday nights is still my favorite workout class - that plus the friendliness of this place makes for a great exercise experience. I recently moved up to LA, and after forgoing exercise for over a year, I decided it was time to "gym it up." Gyms I no like....dancing, moving, shaking your booty, I do. I've always wanted to try Zumba. I found Get Fit Factory through Yelp and decided to try it because it was close to me and all the reviews are great! Well, after three weeks of taking Zumba here, I can see why. I take the 8pm class two times a week (for now) with Tatiane and Orlando. They are both amazing instructors and really keep the energy up during the class. Although I know Zumba derived front traditional Latin type music, they play an array of beats from pop, hip hop, Latin and Asian influenced music and more. It's truly a mix anyone can enjoy. Oh and not to mention, these classes will kick a beginners butt! I'm in my twenties and I'm struggling to keep up with men and women in their forties and older. However, everyone is really nice and always smiling and having a good time. Shows how good their class is and how out of shape I am! The routines are fun and definitely work out all areas of your body. A plus, each class is $5 each (I haven't found anything so amazingly affordable), or $40 for 10 classes that don't expire. I attended their Zumba class today and was very welcomed when I arrived. The instructors we're very friendly and the routines we're thorough and fun. I enjoyed the variation of music and will definitely be back. The facility are very clean and spacious and outside there is plenty of parking. For 45 dollars you can get ten classes that expires in three months and you can even bring a friend and use your class credit on them. Or you can pay 6 dollars a class. Pretty sweet deal. read more

The classes here are perrrrfect for people like me who love the idea of Class Pass, but can't afford it. There's a nice variety of different classes here -- zumba, hi low, yoga, bodysculpting, and even lime dancing! I took a first time class her almost a month ago, I loved the workout so much that I committed in purchasing 10 classes with my friend, unfortunately I had a family emergency, and I'm just able to return today. The owner is a delight, a very warm and welcoming lady, she and another instructor sat in for someone who who taught that class, but had an injury. I love get fit Factory! My girlfriend brought me to their dance class couple month ago and I been coming here since. I love the dance classes here. Love the instructors here. Especially Tatiane, Orlando, Julia. They always have great mixes tunes, routines are fun and easy to fellow. I always sweat a lot when I finished the class. Came here in the first place to lose my Freshman 20 after graduating and working at the dining common at university... And literally after two months all those pounds disappeared and now I'm back to my high school weight!!! There are different classes and instructors to choose from... They're all great classes... Brenda's classes are a must for me and Zumba is always fun... I really recommend this place... Everyone is nice... And you'll actually enjoy working out... I have been coming here Since February of last year and I have to say it has been amazing! I have never been a fan of exercising, but coming here has opened my mind and now i enjoy it. I took private training and the instructor Orlando was very helpful and encouraging. The owner, Tatiane is super welcoming and caring to all the members. All of the instructors are super nice and friendly. Every class is a great workout. The Zumba classes are perfect for all levels and filled with great music. I wanted to get Zumba workout on while I was in West Covina. Being that I was disappointed before trying to do a Zumba class, and was told it was canceled after waiting for a long while. I read about the Get Fit Factory and wanted to try out there Sunday class. It was amazing and I got my SWEAT ON! Not only is this an amazing fun Zumba class the energy was the best part!! Tatian is positive and her routines are energy packed and will work for all fitness levels!! She also reassured me that even if one person shows up for her class she would treasure that person and do the class not cancel like other places!!! I have taken several classes with the instructor Alfred. He will get you moving and sweating in no time. This place has great energy and workouts and the people make you feel welcomed and part of the family. The music choice is awesome and helps get you in the mood to get your butt in gear and workout. Got the 10 week class pass with my friend and we Zumba-ed our way through last summer! We did the 8pm Tuesday night classes - Orlando and Tatiane always make the class fun with high energy dances and fun songs. You guys definitely have to try out the Zumba Tone class on Mondays at 8pm with Vivian. It is an AWESOME workout. I just tried it out with a friend and we ABSOLUTELY loved it. Since I am a big girl, I have always been reluctant to try gym atmospheres in the past, because how they are usually toxic and hardcore without being personal. But, at Get Fit Factory, I felt accepted the moment I stepped into the studio. Tatiane (the owner) always greeted me with a friendly hug, she always checked in one me, and always was concerned when there would be a unusual long period of absence. I never felt like she chastised me or was criticizing me, she genuinely cared about me and my welfare, which I find sort of rare in this industry. I saw all types of people working out from old to young and from super fit to really big. No one was giving side eyes, judging glances, or skeptical looks. It was a loving, supportive, and freeing space for anyone who wanted to move around and have fun doing it! The environment is super friendly, positive, and inviting. I highly recommend anyone who wants to get into exercising again or to try exercising for the first time to give it a shot. The prices are extremely reasonable and affordable (especially for college students who are a little short of cash!). Anyone who is anyone is welcomed! read more

Two things that I like the most of this place are: The instructors (Yeah) and the flexibility of payment. I can show up and pay for the class or buy a packet of wristbands that never expire. I love its promotions: New classes for $2, and 2 hour events at discounted rate. I never tried Zumba before and was really easy to follow Victoria, I can really learn some moves from Alfred and my favorite of all times is Ted with Yoga/Pilates. This is a great class to gain strength, very fun and relaxing. Time flies here, I cant never have enough. Even though the parking lot seems small, I never have trouble finding space, maybe because you can also park on the street. Tatiane is super friendly, is a great place to exercise, great environment, really... give it try. read more

Been coming here for the past two weeks and I absolutely love it! Tatiane and Alfred are the best zumba instructors. They make Zumba so fun and enjoyable. I love their choices of music. Get Fit Factory also offers other classes such as Rhythma tone, fit and tone, kick boxing, get fit, and yoga. I haven't tried any of those, but I will soon. The only downside is the small studio space. When it's crowded, you have no space to wave your arms around or make big stepping movements. read more

I'm not a full member of this gym, only because I have a contract somewhere else. However, I do go every Tuesday (or as often as I can) to the Zumba class at 7:30. It's the most fun Zumba class I've been to! The instructor, Leslie is so fun an energetic...she really motivates you to make it apart of your life. I recommend the class to everyone I know. This place is great!! I wanted to find a Zumba place that wasn't too expensive, that was pay as you go and with no commitment! I ended up taking one class and quickly bought a ten week membership! Love the price, love the classes (they are all fun and such a workout) and the owner and instructors are great! They are all very welcoming and personable :)!! I love this place! The instructors and the owner are so friendly and great! My friend and I took a Zumba class and we both ended up getting the 10 week membership! For the price and flexibility, it is a steal! They go through a mix of fast and chill songs, and it's super fun! Will definitely try to make it out to the other classes aside from Zumba. My experience at Get Fit Factory is amazing, especially the class with Orlando and Tatiane. Typically a zumba class has only 1 teacher, here at Get Fit Factory, you can get class instructed by 2 sometimes 3 instructors. I really like the fact that the class was instructed by multiple instructors because you get to experience different style and routine which is what keep me going. The studio is of good size and well kept with clean bathroom. Parking is really easy, I can zoom in and out in light speed. read more

Phenomenal classes and run by an incredible team, the classes here are the best of the best! As a couple we thoroughly enjoy the variety in both classes and instructors. From training and cardio with Tony in "Get Fit with Tony", to the incredibly infectious energy of the Zumba classes, its really hard to go wrong here. The monthly schedule of classes is posted every month to both the Facebook page as well as the website, so reference either for the latest and greatest in class offerings. Some of the other classes offered here include: Insanity, Kickboxing, Zumba, and Zumba master classes. We also really appreciate the flexibility in pricing. Classes may be purchased individually or you can purchase wristbands to access classes at a discounted rate. Monthly passes are also available to access classes on an unlimited basis.
