Drinks were all excellent, i tasted the Manhattan and enjoyed it over the Fig Jam. For apps: Clams oreganato (the couple with us enjoyed this), flat bread (was much more like pizza than flat bread, but still tasty, per my husband), and on the special New England Clam Chowder which was very good, not too thick and decent and fresh clams in it. Entrees: Shrimp Risotto scampi, very flavorful Risotto cooked perfectly. Two of us ordered the Cajun Mahi Mahi, over spinach with mashed, and 2 shrimp. the Cajun sauce was tasty with the perfect amount of heat, shrimp and mahi-mahi fresh and cooked perfectly. Rigatoni Bolognese which my husband enjoyed and said it was almost as good as my Italian mother's (like a good son-in-law) lol Dessert: Crème Brûlée - Brûlée was perfect, the crème was a little too thick for me. I ate it and enjoyed it, but not the best I've had. My husband ordered the key Lime Pie happy that it did not include nuts in the crust as some do, he thought it was good. Overall we had an enjoyable albeit pricy meal with good service. I would come back if other's wanted to go but it would not be my go to place.

Besides the fact that you get attentive service, the food is incredible! Fresh ingredients, really traditional dishes/recipes. Everything tastes homemade and I genuinely wonder if someone's (yaya) is doing all the cooking in the back. Also? "Generous portions" (as they say on their website) is exactly right! Best past is all their batter is Gluten Free (yup!). Everything also tastes very light. I didn't get anything fried but have a feeling if you do order fried foods, it won't be bathing in oil. The ambiance, while modest by American standards, I believe is authentically Greek-- unassuming, highlighted with images and elements of Greece, and really, you come with loved ones and just eat and enjoy. I mean, that IS the Greek culture in its truest form, no? Good selection of wines and they also serve a menu of cocktails.

Thankfully, the table that was ready was large enough for four but it could have caused an issue. As a note, she remembered and realized she mistyped it and apologized immediately. Our waiter was friendly, though the service had a few hiccups. My chicken quesadilla (which I ordered as my entrée) came out well before everyone else's meals. When boxing leftovers, he asked whether I wanted the sides, sour cream, and salsa included. I said no, but when I opened the container the next day, everything had been packed together anyway. Food: The chicken quesadilla was delicious and generously filled with shredded chicken. Drinks: The frozen strawberry margarita was excellent. It was filled to the brim and stronger than what you typically get at a restaurant. Overall, I'm chalking the service issues up to it being a busy Saturday night. The waiter asked us for boxes. Seeing that we didn't eat the food we said we weren't taking anything. I told him to have someone check the chicken as it's not right and he said he would let them know. He came back with the check I paid the full check and again mentioned to the waiter that someone should really look into the chicken as someone will get sick and we left. My wife was upset as she was upset I paid the sill receipt but my point is the following. Reputable locations who take their businesses serious pay attention and monitor their patrons. Ultimately without them they don't have a business. Your representative taking care of us saw we barely touched the food if at all. This is not normal at an eating establishment and your only concern was that we didn't want to take the food home. The owner is usually present and is very welcoming and nice to talk to. The food has always been good, so far. However.........the customer service provided by a 'handful' of servers is just so inconsistent. One server is always in a mood so you never know you will get from him. The bar staff is truly unprofessional with some of their behavior, personal phone calls, eating at the counter..... First, being charged the full $80 price for a guest who did not attend was extremely shocking and disappointing. More concerning, however, was the manner in which Tom approached and addressed us. In all my years of dining out, I have never experienced such poor service or such an inappropriate attitude from restaurant staff. Although I was eventually provided with containers to pack some food to take home, the entire experience left me feeling deeply insulted and completely ruined what was meant to be a special Mother's Day dinner. This Tom, who I was told aa a manger lacks a professionalism to be a qualified one. He needs a major attitude change.
