I ordered a Big Red Pizza with burrata and prosciutto for delivery directly through Dough's website. What arrived did not appear to have burrata on it, but instead looked like a different melted cheese. I called the restaurant and asked if they could replace the pizza. I was told a replacement was only available for pickup, and that I would have to place and pay for a new order if I wanted another pizza delivered. When I asked for a refund, I was told I needed to contact the third-party delivery provider because Dough does not process refunds for online delivery orders. I then contacted Toast, the platform used for the order, and was told they could not issue the refund and that I needed to contact the restaurant. I called Dough again, explained the situation, and offered to send a photo. I made it clear that I was not trying to get free food. I simply wanted the correct order. After being placed on hold, I was told that the melted cheese on the pizza was the burrata and that this was how they prepare it. I am including a photo because I have never seen burrata served this way on a pizza. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was incredibly disappointing. I was passed back and forth, offered no reasonable delivery replacement or refund, and ultimately told that the pizza was correct despite what was delivered. read more

We had devil eggs, zucchini crisp, salmon, hanger steak sandwich and kids mac&cheese. Zucchini crisp is not bad. A little bit too thin for me. The sauce is spot on. Great flavor. We came Dough on a blazing hot Sunday for lunch. The entrance walls had some wonderful patriotic arts. They had tables available both indoor and outdoor, we decided to sit in the outdoor patio area. It looked very nice at start, but gradually the heat started to pick up. There was no fan or anything other than rare natural breeze. For indoor, the dining area was really nice, with mostly had high chair tables. The bar was huge. The menu had lots variety in brunch, small plates, greens, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas and seasonal entrees. The drinks menu had cocktails, mocktails and lots of other hard liquor options. We started the lunch with deviled eggs and zucchini crisps. Both were decent dishes. Zucchini crisp had lots of them with a tasty side of sauce. For entree, I got the hanger steak sandwich. The sandwich had good amount of steak, topped with onion and greens. But the steak pieces were huge that made it difficult to bite out of the sandwich. Having it in thinner slices or cubes would have been much better. The sourdough bread's crust also got super hard, was impossible me to bite around the corner. I had to tear off the edges of the bread. The grilled salmon was a big filet, really well cooked. But the lemon risotto was bland. My daughter got the kid's Mac and cheese that was excellent, whole plate was full of cheese. The mint condition and raspberry mule were solid mocktails to cool off the heatwave we were feeling. The service was decent overall. The dishes came out in short intervals. Our server was working hard, trying her best to keep up with multiple tables. We had to get her attention to request the utensils, takeout boxes and for the check. Hopefully she will get better as she gets more experience. Ugh, what happened to this place!?! The new and huge location has ample parking and seating but, my has this place gone downhill. It certainly does not feel family run anymore. I've been to Dough's new location a few times now and I always get a good meal. The restaurant is nice and large and the bar area has ample seating. I've sat in the restaurant part and at the bar and both times have been lovely. We've always had very nice service and delicious drinks. They have a nice large menu of not only pizza but other options as well. The kid's menu has good kid-friendly options as well, so everyone leaves happy and full. Today I had a nice lunch with a friend and our kiddos. The kids each had different options - the kids pizza, penne vodka, and the meatballs. They were all a huge hit. The meatballs come with a side of bread, so my son made a meatball sandwich and devoured it. We also started with their wings. They were very accommodating and made it not too burnt or overly cooked as my daughter is very specific with her wings. She loved them. They aren't saucy wings, but had good spice to them. My friend and I split the caramelized onion pizza and it was just ok. It was lacking a bit of flavor. And with everything on it, you would think it would be so overwhelming with flavor. Unfortunately that wasn't that case. Everything else is pretty spot on, the dough is very dough-y as someone said, but that's what makes it so good. I love it with a little bit of crisp to it. I dined here for the first time on Friday night and sat outside on the patio. We had heard great things about their pizza -- and it definitely lived up to the hype -- but we started with the zucchini crisps, and they were absolutely outrageous. Lightly fried and perfectly crisp, they came with an aioli that had just the right kick. Delicious! My son ordered the plain pizza, which came out perfectly cooked with a crisp crust -- simple and spot on. We also tried the featured pizza, a white pie topped with roasted red and yellow peppers. The combination of the multicolored peppers with the thin, crunchy crust was fantastic. My partner had the eggplant Parmesan pizza, and it was everything you'd hope for -- not too heavy, just the right amount of sauce, and the eggplant was perfectly cooked with great flavor in every bite. Dough revisited. Our first time at the new location. The experience was night and day when compared to our 2 star visit at the old location 7 years ago. The atmosphere of the dining area is outstanding with an upscale rustic farmhouse vibe. Comfortable and spacious. They also have very nice outdoor seating complete with fire pits. We opened with chicken wings which were near perfection. Fire roasted, moist and flavorful. We also tried the Autumn toast points featuring Ricotta. butternut squash, garlic and pumpkin seeds. It was tasty, but I don't think we would order it again. We then ordered a couple salads. First, the arugula salad. It really should be called a spinach salad as it actually contains more spinach than arugula. I love spinach so it was fine bye me. Next was the Autumn featured salad. Shaved brussel sprouts, carrots, red onions, cilantro and mandarin oranges with a light maple dressing. It was light and fresh but more like a slaw than a traditional salad. For pizza we tried the chicken pesto pizza and the featured pizza which was fennel, salami, fresh mozzarella and sautéed onions. Both pies were good but nothing to write home about. D'oh! Went here for the first time about a week ago for an early dinner, soon after opening. The pizza is OUTSTANDING. My partner got the mushroom pizza, adding sausage to it, and loved it. Something to know -- the base pizza may make a difference in whether and what kind of sauce you get, so definitely ask about that. If she'd ordered a sausage pizza and added mushrooms, it would've been a red sauce; the mushroom pizza is a white pizza and they added sausage to it. As for me, the closest thing to what I wanted was a margherita, but I asked for just a plain pizza. Even though it's not on the menu, they'll do it for you -- and again, this New Yorker thought the pizza was just delicious. The sauce, the cheese, and the thin crust. We each ate a personal size pizza individually which fills you up -- no room for dessert -- but I didn't feel like I was going to burst. Definitely plan to visit them again next time I'm in the Jerz! They play music but luckily they don't blast music like a lot of other restaurants have We ordered the fried zucchini and risotto balls. Both were absolutely delicious but I definitely prefer the fried zucchini more because it's kind of like a chip! We ordered a bunch of pizzas that were brick oven style. The pizza is more like a personal pan size and I would order at least 2 pizzas if you're a part of 2 because the slices are tinier than expected. The only thing is that because the slices are so thin, they're a little flimsy and get a little wet as the pizza cools down. Other than that, the slices have good flavors.
