My boyfriend and I were looking for a casual spot to eat on a Saturday night and a quick yelp search brought us to Tavern 292. We were seated no problem even though it was pretty crowded. Everyone was extremely kind to us from the moment we arrived. I also loved how even though it was crowded, we were never rushed. The menu was very extensive and had a great variety of burgers, apps, sandwiches, and entrees. I love how when you order a sandwich or burger, you can choose any side you want! Instead of being locked into have fries and paying an up charge to have something else. We opted for burgers and they were fresh and delicious. Mine was perfectly medium with pink inside. They also weren't greasy at all. It's fun how they brand the top of their bun with the name of the restaurant. The extensive beer list was also a major plus. We will definitely be returning to try some other items on the menu when we are looking for a casual night out.

Our go to lunch for the office. Their food is always fresh and on point. The shrimp tacos is my favorite gluten free item to order

Had an excellent first time. Service was very prompt. Sat in the back room. The place was very busy on a Friday night including the bar. It isn't a quiet place when it's busy so be prepared. The food was spot on however my burger seems a bit overcooked. I will need to get it medium rare next time. My drink was delicious as well. Look forward to going back.

Had a great night with a great friend with great food. It was my first time here, but thanks to our amazing server, she totally steered us in the right direction and I thoroughly enjoyed my double cut pork chop with creamed spinach, and brussels sprouts. I also enjoyed a delicious cup of split pea soup (although I wish the croutons were a little bit more crunchy). The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is cozy and comfortable with a lot of nice customers. Of course, we had to wash everything down with a delicious cheesecake.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Everything we ordered was great with a homemade taste. If you are looking for great comfort food in a casual atmosphere this is the place to go. First, I ate the entire basket of corn bread. We had the buffalo chicken rolls which were giant and delicious. Would take the drive just to order this again. Shrimp Santorini giant and excellent. The 292 steak sandwich was on garlic bead. Curry Coli flour was great. Overall great. Drinks were also generous and the staff actually looked like they liked to work there. Definitely coming back to this place.

This is one of our favorite area restaurants. Beyond the great food and service they have the two things my wife and I prize. Outdoor seating in the summer, and excellent white sangria. Hopefully they bring back the large marquee this summer, as there's nothing like a 292 burger and white sangria outdoors to finish a work day or kick off a weekend. ( And if you're lucky somebody will drive in with their Willys AA/Gasser. :) )

Stopped in while out running errands. This place did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and our server was on point. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. The fried calamari with sweet tai chili sauce was a great way to start our meal. The shrimp tacos were awesome, but stay away if you don't like spice. My husband had the fish n chips which he said was perfectly cooked. We'll be back.

Great service, consistent good food, and value for the buck. We went on a slow night so the attention was impressive.

It was a Saturday night and it was really noisy. Anyway, we were seated right away. The server first took our wine and beer order. We then ordered the French onion soup and the Panko Crusted Goat Cheese Salad with Grilled Chicken. While we were waiting for the food, we needed water. We finally caught our servers attention and mentioned the water. Our food arrived at least 35 minutes plus after ordering. The French Onion Soup and Goat Cheese Salad were delicious. The soup had lots of yummy cheese. The warm crispy fried goat cheese medallions were so darn delish! In the meantime, still no water. We asked the server again. The water finally came. The servers were very friendly. Think the pub could use a lot more servers, particularly on a Saturday night. The inside decor is a bunch of old wood shellacked tables. Think the furnishings could use a major upgrade. The food is what really impressed me. Based, on the good food, I would give Danaher's another try, but not on a busy weekend. A large parking lot is available.

With that being said the service we received here yesterday was outstanding and better than any five star restaurant. I cannot say how wonderful our waiter was.. I can't remember his name because let's face it. I had a few drinks because that's what it's about there. I believe it was. Giancarlo? So the manager if you see this, please let me know if that's correct or not. This kid was incredible. He was helpful without being overbearing. He was great with his beer knowledge, but we really sold me was when there was a table behind us that had a son with special needs at this young man treated that table with kindness and compassion and really we need more of that. To the owner of this business, I know that the wait staff gets a very minimal amount per hour because they depend on tips, but if there's anyway you can raise his base pay, I would love to see that we were only gonna have one drink each, but because of how he treated us we ended up having two for me and three for my husband, that young man is an investment

(Also, after 14 years, I have a little better appreciation of craft beers.) This was takeout, so I can't offer if anything has changed about ambiance. The order was prepared quickly, on time, and fresh. The food came back to us still hot and crispy, a sign of good care. And the food quality? Mwah. Everyone loved what they got. My bacon beef burger was juuust before medium, exactly how I wanted Great flavor, more guac than I thought as I ate through it. Good amount of fries, just need one recommendation: Dipping sauce plz. The appetizer of cheese curds was well stocked to satisfy my craving and came with the perfect dip. I get the feeling if we ate in-house, more dips would be provided on request. So that's bringing up to 4 stars. If I revisit in person, pray I alter it further. ;)

One of those nights my order was delayed and a couple of sides were missing, but they were extremely apologetic and even offered us a discount, which I really appreciated. Tonight, my husband and I decided to have a quick date night and finally dine in. I honestly can't remember the names of the cocktails we ordered, but they were seasonal, delicious, and beautifully presented. The bread wasn't my favorite, but I'm not taking off any points for that. It's free, and honestly, I'd rather not fill up on bread before the meal anyway. For appetizers, we ordered the cast iron shrimp and the slab bacon. The shrimp was so good. My husband thought it was a little salty, but I thought it was just really well seasoned. I'd honestly go back just for that dish. The bacon was good, but it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. I personally like my food piping hot, so that's just a preference. The star of the night was the Cowboy Prime steak. It was absolutely delicious, great seasoning, a perfect sear, and full of flavor. The temperature wasn't exactly what we ordered, but it was still an incredible steak. It came with vegetables, and even as someone who isn't a big fan of veggies, I really enjoyed them!! For sides, we had the hand-cut fries and a side of the corn risotto. If we had one complaint about the meal, it would be the risotto. It was overcooked and tasted like a basic risotto with corn kernels mixed in. It just wasn't what we expected. Thankfully, the steak was so good that it completely made up for that disappointment. We skipped dessert because we were both completely full, but we'll definitely be back. I also wanted to mention that the service was a little slow at the beginning. Once our server got to us, though, she was friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to coming back.
