I just want to add be warned about a potentially very long wait time, I waited an hour for a soup and salad to come out which is ridiculous because those things don't take that long to put together. I dined in at the restaurant and felt like I wasn't being prioritized at all, even though there was only one other customer there.

I've only had the "quesadilla" but man... it's so good! The service is pleasant but honestly, you'll spend years of your life waiting for them to finish "cooking" your food. My online order was supposed to be ready at 2:30. I got there at 2:45ish based on past experience and didn't get it til about 3. Mind you, no one else was in the restaurant. If they respected the concept of time, they'd absolutely be a 5, but the lackadaisical approach tops out at a 4ish for me.

Great great great VEGAN SPOT!!! They had many choices that were vegan or even alkaline vegan . I ordered the Stuffed Avocado which had pico de gallo, nutmeat, and bell peppers . I also ordered the Mushroom steak and personal pizza which were both delicious. I really enjoyed the personal pizza it was bursting with flavors and everything was vegan, they used pine nut cheese which was cool . I ordered the collard green rolls and sage burger to go because I could not get enough of the taste. The vibe was good too. It offered a Rasta vibe and hippie kind of atmosphere.

I love this spot. When I'm in the area I stop by. I got the tostada salad and ate the whole plate. I'm sure the folks sitting beside me at the bar was like dang. But it's always delicious . It does take awhile before the food is ready, because everything is made to order. They only serve vegan food and I'm not even vegan but I find EVERYTHING on there menu worth the try.

The food was absolutely incredible and I picked the best time to go before the crowd came - no long wait time at all. Will definitely be going back!

Love, love, love this spot. We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints! They have been doing raw/live before it was trendy..and doing it right. Went back yesterday for the first time since the pandemic. We went for it and got the 5 course meal!!! I highly recommend it. We got it to go and it was delicious. I missed the experience of dining in for the five course but the food was still just as amazing. We got the strawberry cheesecake, which we ate first while waiting for our food! It was super good. That crunchy bottom. Appetizer was the cabbage taco. I haven't gotten to it yet but I know it's good. The vitality soup was delicious and my body seemed to be thanking me while drinking it!! The house salad, again I haven't gotten to it but I love their dressing..she really should bottle it. The entree was the lasagna. When you see it you're like that's all but it's so flavorful and delicious. We did a 1/2 order of the safe burger bc that's our favorite. The nachos are definitely another of my favorites. I didn't get them this time but did order a side of the flax crackers. One complaint....I needed more!!! I love those crackers. I was full after the soup, crackers , and cheesecake so I saved everything else. That's the thing it's a lot of food!! . I've never had the pizza but will soon be correcting that.

Lov'n it Live.. raw, nutritious, guilt-free, delicious, food for your soul. I discovered this restaurant via Instagram. I read a few mixed reviews, even so I decided to take a small road trip to partake in this raw food experience . I, by no means am I a raw vegan. I am more of a vegetarian if one was to label, but would like to include raw food a little more in my diet. Moving on, when you arrive; the restaurant has a sign "Let food be your medicine, let medicine be your food" by Imhotep, but most in Western society familiarize this with Hippocrates. The interior is open, nicely decorated with artwork and soft music echoing in the background. The tables have a fine dining look, but the space creates a more casual, welcomed vibe. The waitress was kind and made a few suggestions, considering I was a newcomer. I started with the kale salad. It's a step above the average kale salad. This was mixed with herbs and spices and a guac sauce. I ordered a small, but that definitely could have been a light meal. For the drink, I had the vanilla flavored seamoss. To me, this was more of an after dinner drink, for it was sweet and tasty and could easily wash out the flavors of your meal. Now for the entree. I tried the personal pan pizza. It was served warm on a flax seed crust, topped with veggies and their sage crumbles. This was very tasty and flavorful. You'll forget its raw, well at least I did lol. The meal totaled a little over $35. Look, fresh quality and made to order food does not come cheap. Expect to pay a little more. I really enjoyed the experience. The foodie in me was pleased. I will definitely go again when in the area.

I was able to park right in front of the door, greeted immediately once I stepped inside and able to take my choice of seating. I'd already looked at the menu while on the plane and placed my order shortly after sitting down. I was ***pleasantly*** surprised by how quickly my food came out once I ordered. As I often do when visiting a place for the first time, I ordered an assortment of items. Two for dine in and one to go. My ranked items are below. 1. The red velvet spelt pancakes are different but worth trying. Not as fluffy as VHOP or the biscuits from Sevananda but still enjoyable. 2. Again - surprisingly - the Rasta pasta was a 2nd fav! Creamy. "Cheesy." Flavorful. 3. The lion's mane and hush puppies were just okay. The hush puppies - again - were different. Both items veered on the salty side. 4. The potatoes and vegan sausage side items were also just okay. Overall, I had a good visit. 10/10 for service. 7-8/10 for food. BUT still worth a try.

I love this place so much! I feel like I've been once a week for the past month, so I'm long…read moreoverdue to write a review about why you need to come to Bole! To start, the space is nice, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Dark wood tones, colorful artwork, scenic landscape screensavers on the TV screens near the bar, and Ethiopian music pumping through the speakers (but not so loud that you can't hear the people you're with). The staff is also so sweet with great energy. There's a full bar with great drink prices, and I still need to try the honey wine. One thing to note is that the food is made to order and does take a little time (like 20 minutes or so), but when you dig in and start eating you understand why. I will wait every time, no problem. My favorite dish is the Fish Dullet and my favorite side is the brown lentils. My partner gets the Awaze pretty much every time. If you haven't tried Ethiopian food before, this is your sign to do so. If you already like Ethiopian food, make sure to stop by if you haven't already!

Beautiful decor! Delicious food!…read moreAttentive service! Those are just three of the reasons that Bole received a five star rating. This amazing restaurant located within proximity of the airport is truly a gem in the Metro Atlanta area. The exterior is well lit and encompasses a wraparound porch that has ample space to potentially host a party. Not sure of their outdoor intentions as it was fairly cool when I visited, and look forward to checking out again in the warmer months. Parking is available at no cost, with ADA compliant entry. From the moment I entered, I was impressed with the art in various forms throughout the restaurant. This include included pictures, sculptures, and even a traditional Ethiopian coffee set up. Our party was fairly large and sat to the right of the entrance where tables were pushed together to form one table with chairs on one side and bench on the opposite. I did notice that the other areas had tables that were spaced in the very larger room, as well as a bar area with television and would appear to be an area for music/Dj set up. The food was amazing as well. Amazing is the word of the day regarding ballet! I ordered the Bole Awaze Tims signature platter with lamb, other meat options were available. I also ordered the Timatim fitfit salad, a side of beets and had the hot spice tea as my beverage. The portions were ample and included a basket of njeri, the traditional spongy accompaniment used to eat the contents of your meal. The Timatim salad was extremely good, and a meal in itself. My food was seasoned well, and I enjoyed each and every bite! My tea was delicious too! A traditional us brand teabag was placed on the side for addition, but not necessary at all. The spices which I believe included cardamom were more than sufficient and truly warmed me adequately. Despite having an a large party, our server managed all orders like a champion, and made sure that no one had to guess on menu selections. She provided information in educated in the process. The overall vibe was that everyone was impressed and enjoyed their meals. As previously mentioned, I look forward to returning to share the extremely personable ambience and great food selections with others. Definitely a great location to celebrate a special occasion or for a delicious meal with a long layover.

I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. I highly recommend! I usually order ahead of time and come to pick it up because service is slow. Online, it will say your order is ready in 10-15 minutes, but that is not true. Wait at least 30-45 minutes to pick it up. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.

But for $7 it feels extremely cheap to have veggie potstickers (and not state that explicitly on the menu). Most places charge $7 for pork or shrimp potstickers. Then for my entree I had the panang curry with fish. My first issue with this is for an additional charge of $8 or $9 DEEP frying a fillet and plopping it on top feels extremely cheap. If it was $4 I'd expect that for almost $10 I'd think pan frying it at least like the salmon they have on the menu would be the default or at least informed to the customer. The extremely high price for the pre prepared curry with veggies with a protein not even mixed in but on top and veggie dumplings is one reason for a star deduction. The service this past time I went was absolutely abysmal. When I came in the server didn't seem to want me to sit at a table (I was a party of 1) so she nudged me to the bar which was alright but when I sat at the bar the bartender rolled his eyes and looked annoyed that I was sitting there. Then he eventually came over didn't greet me and just put menus in front of me. Then when I was ready to order he came over still without saying a word took my order and afterwards asked "do you water or anything to drink" (he hadn't given me any water when I sat down). I answered yes and a Thai iced tea please. My food came out quickly and he brought my Thai iced tea. But never got any water. Then after trying to get his attention for 10 minutes I eventually got him to request my check and he brought it once again with not a word spoken. He clearly hated being there and his job and was so unfriendly I left as quickly as I could even though I was hoping to sit and have a cocktail and do some work.

My quinoa burrito was actually really tasty and I removed the wrap and ate it as a salad since it was basically falling apart on me. I would definitely have no problem eating it again! On the other hand my hubs burger wasn't too tasty..wasn't bad but there was nothing remarkable about it. The fresh juice they had was great for me- I had a ginger mint blend mix that I truly enjoyed! The hubs however thought all the fresh juices were a bit too sweet and he had to dilute it with water. We didn't enjoy end up taking some of the food to go as we had a long drive back home which I must say my burrito stayed warm for the 6 hour drive! Back to the store- we noticed the utensils and napkins were on the side near the juices along with to go containers. That area wasn't stocked so I had to ring the bell once again (numerous times) in order to get someone's attention for a minor request. They definitely need to rethink staffing as it was an unnecessary issue- observed other people walking in and waiting as well.
