I tried to cancel my order and I was ignored and decided to still transport my car with them since they stated my deposit would not be given back. However, when I made the deposit I was told as long as I gave a 72 hour notice, deposit would be given back in full. That was not the case. The driver was really kind and helpful. Deceitful Quote Requested and received a quote to move a truck from WA to AL for $890. After checking reviews, we decided to use this company. However, when we called to schedule a pickup, we were told the quote was not valid even though it came from their company with phone number and contact information. The actual estimate jumped to over $1400!!! REALLY?? They claim to have integrity, however, they will not honor their 'computer generated quote'. I had a really horrible experience with this company. They initially ensured me that my car would be moved from MI to TX. When I didn't hear anything from them closer to my required dates, I called them to inquire. They said, "I see a note here to call you back at 4. I'll call you then, and don't worry, your car will be moved!". I responded, "I hope so because other companies are saying that the price is too low and that my car will not get picked up. Is that true? Should I be worried?". They responded, "other companies should not be discussing our business or bad mouthing us. We have been in this business for years and your car will be moved! I'll call you back with the details!" Needless to say, I did not receive a phone call back at 4 and when I tried to call them, they did not pick up, or respond to my phone calls. They also had my car listed with them online so I couldn't even get other quotes. Thank the Lord I called another company explained what this company was doing and got my car shipped. When I mentioned the name of this company, they said, "yeah, we get a lot of there 'customers'." After my experience I'm not surprised! I needed one of my cars transported to Florida so I could drive the other one down from Georgia and I ended up on the phone with Kat Jolly at Get It Done Transportation. She was awesome and gave me all of the information I needed. Both Kat & David followed up with me until the carrier picked up my vehicle, which was delivered on time and the driver was very courteous. I used Get it Done Transportation in June 2020, they did get my vehicle from Point A to Point B with no damage, and in a very timely manner, so I give them props for that. But there were some negative things that happened that should not have happened. They gave me a quote for $1,190 "NO HIDDEN FEES, All inclusive, Door to door service" and when I spoke with Ed he gave me this whole speech about how other companies will charge more after they take your money, or they won't deliver the car on time, or how they will change the drop off locations etc..... and he warned me to watch out for them but Get it Done is better then that and they won't do that, the price is the price guaranteed etc.... so I took his word for it and gave them my credit card # for the Deposit, they got a driver arranged to pick it up Very quickly I was impressed how fast, it was prob less then 1 hr. but then they called me and said it would be $1,240, I complained and said that is not ok we agreed on a price of $1,140, their response was then just short the driver the $50 we don't care, because we are not making a dime more. Who cares how much the broker makes? They agreed to a price and that should be the price just like it said in the quote. Then they called and asked if they could drop off at a city 1.5 hrs away from my house because I live very Rural, I was expecting that so I agreed. Then a few days later I get a call from the driver saying he is going to drop off at a town an additional 30 mins further from me now 2 hrs away. I said no that was not the agreement, so he sent me a screenshot of central dispatch showing where the job was posted to be picked up and dropped off, It showed Get it Done and posted it to the town 30 mins further! They did not ask my approval they just did it after they promised Door to Door then I graciously agreed to help them out and drive 1.5 hrs one way they changed the location without my approval to 2 hrs away! The truck driver was gracious and we split the difference and met halfway between the 2 towns. In the end Get it Done Transport got the vehicle delivered, but it cost me $50 more and I had to drive 4 hrs round trip to pick it up, and lots of stress and frustration. So a few broken promises, bad communication with Dave the dispatcher he never answered the phone or returned my calls. Ed was good about answering my calls (though he did hang up on me once). ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*** Get it Done has cost me over $900 dollars in rental car fees, $500 due to a short notice booking with another company, and $100 that the company took from my account for a total of $1,500. After 4 weeks and multiple phone calls they have not refunded my money. He has also caused my family and I to utilize a single vehicle for three week due to making obligations for moving my vehicle that never occured. The "owner" Dave has zero integrity and will not follow through on obligations. I understand weather, the system they utilize to get drivers to bid, etc. however, there is no excuse for poor customer service, never calling someone back, and not refunding someone there money. To summarize my experience I called week 1 and was told by Dave that my truck would be picked up week 2 between Wednesday and Thursday. I heard nothing from him and got his voicemail and left a message on Wednesday of week 2. On Thursday I called again and Dave answered, said he would call me back in two minutes and never did. On Friday I call again and was told he was going to call back in 90 seconds, again no call back. It was Memorial Day weekend so lost three more days and called week 3 on Tuesday with same story, no call back. On Wednesday week 3 I called and told him I did not want to do business with him and wanted a refund. He then left my name on the broker board so no other company could repost my truck and allow drivers to bid on it despite me calling daily requesting him to remove it. Very low and malicious. I failed to read reviews prior to going with this company and would urge anyone transporting a vehicle to not make the same mistake. Read the other reviews here and on BBB and you will see the common theme. I am in the military and say that not for special treatment, but those that have done cross country moves and relocating your family to an entirely new area understand all the stressors that come with it. Get it Done contacted me about transporting my 1929 Model A Ford from Florida to Kentucky . Ed was the guy who was handling my account . I explained my car had to be picked up on a thursday while I was in Florida and he said that would not be a problem . He even called the driver to confirm the car could be picked up at the address on Thursday . So I gave him my credit card number and he immediately charged $390.00 of the $1100.00 fee. When thursday came no one contacted me about the pick up so I started calling and texting Ed. He never answered any of my calls or texts . Finally hours later David answered the phone and said he would call me back . Hours later he called only to say he's still working on it. That was the last time I heard from anyone . No driver ever showed up , no one ever called me with any explanations. Nothing !!! I have to leave to go home to Kentucky tomorrow with no one showing up to pick up the car so now I will have to fly back to Florida from Kentucky and rearrange to have another transport company get the car in a few weeks . There unprofessionalism is appalling and now going to cost me at least $700 to fly down , get a rental car and a motel to stay for a night to make new arrangements . Do not use Get it done . They will charge your credit card and you will never hear from them again. David and the shipping companies he deals with are awful. Our car was picked up Friday, August 12. The driver told us it would be delivered Monday or Tuesday at the latest, but either way he would call Sunday, August 14 to let us know when to expect it. No call Sunday. Okay, that happens...No call Monday. Well, that's not great considering my daughter was borrowing a car, but hey, delays happen, we're understanding people. No call Tuesday. Not cool. Called David...he gets back to us saying the driver had some problems and the car would be there Thursday, August 18 at the latest, but probably earlier on Wednesday. Nothing. No call. Nothing. Not from David or the driver. Thursday comes and goes. I'm not kidding. We place our 50th call to the driver. Nothing. Call David...nothing. Friday...5 days after we are supposed to have our car...nothing. Call David. No answer. Text David. Says will call "soon". 3 hours later...no call...nothing. Called and left messages. Texted. Nothing. The worst! We still don't have our car. Don't know when we will have our car. For all we know it has been stolen and driven across the border. Mind you, my daughter has had to arrange to have someone standing by to meet the driver for 5 days, borrowed a car for 5 days. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'm all about honest reviews. I never really write reviews but when I do it's because i feel that everyone else should know what to expect and I really feel like I should have read the reviews before committing to this transport company. I was initially quoted $990 from David himself and other people don't lie when he's quick to ask you for your credit card info...I trusted him and gave him my credit card information because he quoted me $990 and told me clearly over the phone that yes it was $990. I had a different quote from a different company at $1,000 so I said what the heck I'll go with these guys and save myself $10 but...that wasn't the case. After giving him my credit card information he said he would send me an email by the end of the day with all the information regarding the transportation of my truck from Louisiana to Arizona. We initially started talking around noon and by the end of the night I still didn't get anything as promised by the end of the day. I had called him a couple times in between that as well and I get that it's a family owned company and they may be busy but I never got a call back when I asked for it and was concerned. The ONLY time I got a call back was that first day when one of my credit cards got declined for the $140 deposit. Then...the following day I receive an email saying that my truck was assigned to some carrier and that it would be getting picked up and the total that would have to get paid to the driver would be $900....sooo this was AFTER my card got hit with a $140 deposit so the total after me giving the driver $900 is $1,040. NOT the $990 as quoted by email and over the phone by David himself. I then called David back that following day multiple times and said I would appreciate a call back regarding the price I would have to pay the driver and NEVER got a call back. The only calls I received were from the driver himself keeping tabs with me on when to expect my truck. I then said what the heck I'll just say screw it and go with it since my credit card already got hit and the guy is already about to pick up my truck and I am NOT EVER getting a call back from these guys. I emailed them once and called David and his company multiple times regarding this mishap and not once did I get a call back and til this day I haven't heard anything about it but an email regarding a review for their service. So I'm an honest man that provides honest reviews. All I have to say is thank you for bringing my truck home to me in one piece but I can't stress enough how my anxiety was through the roof with these guys because I would not hear back from them when I would give them a call unless my credit card wasn't going through and it would hug the crap out of me. Then on Wednesday, nobody called to inform us of the day/time cars were supposed to be picked up. We had to call several times Get it done Transportation because he wasn't calling back or letting us know what was the schedule. The driver finally came on Saturday night at 6pm (which was 3 days after the agreed date and we weren't there). At least, the driver was very responsive and very nice to us and was able to pick up the cars without us being with him. The exact same thing happened when it was time to get our cars in the other city. Get it done Transportation never called in advance to letting us know what was the schedule for the delivery. Get it Done Transportation also never mentioned the fact that we had to pay in cash or money order the remaining amount for the shipping. When the third-party hired by Get it done Transportation called us 12 hours before the car delivery, we were very surprised that we couldn't pay by credit card. Considering the amount of money needed, it would have been nice to know in advance that we needed cash/money order. The person we talked to (from the 3rd party) wasn't friendly at all and almost rude - which didn't help the situation. After this frustrating call, we tried to call Get it Done Transportation and AGAIN, we weren't able to reach him in a timely manner. When we were able to get a hold of Get it done Transportation , the answer was always the same :" I will call back soon because I can't see your order on my phone or I'm not in front of my computer". He never called back and we always had to call over and over again. I'd also like to specify that on Get it done Transportation website, it's clearly written that he will be available 24/7 for any questions/concerns. Let's say it wasn't the case for my case. We had to do the "middle man" between the 3rd party who was picking up/delivering our cars and Get it done Transportation instead of just being the customer from the beginning to the end of the process. The only good thing I can say is about this whole process is that the cars were in the same condition as we left them.. which should be the norm for a transportation company. It's not the first time I moved a car with a transportation company. The last time was from Canada to the US and the experience was flawless and very smooth. I can't say the same for this one. It has been so painful and frustrating. The company seemed like a good idea. Up front, good pricing, and quick to book. SEEMED is the key word. My vehicle was SUPPOSED to ship September 4, 2018. That day came and went. David, the owner, was impossible to contact even with 3 different contact numbers and email address as well. When I left messages, calls were not returned, despite the friendly promise they would be on his voicemail. September 5th came and went....no shipper, no information and nothing 'getting done' as they advertise. All hours, day and night, I called and called only to be told 'I'm not in the office right now' via text or 'I'm at my sons soccer game'. Really? Are we running a business or just screwing peoples lives? Finally, I had to go with another company who had to charge me a bunch of last minute fees totalling almost $1200, because I wasted months booking and planning with this pathetic front of a business. There is NO excuse for failure to follow through on a contract as agreed upon, especially when I gave them an extra 4 days to 'get it done'. We contacted this company 2 months prior to the date of our move. We were told to contact him 3 weeks prior to our shipment date. We did so, got quoted a price, and were assured he would find us a driver. The week of our move David was supposed to call us on Monday, which he never did. We called him the same day and we were told he was working with several drivers in the area and would call us Tuesday morning with further details of finding us a driver, he did not. Wednesday, we attempted to contact him several times in hope of any information at all and reached nothing but his voice mail. We left several messages requesting a call back with updates, all went unanswered. We finally contacted him late Wednesday evening and he assured us he would have a driver for us on either Thursday or Friday and would call us first thing in the morning on Thursday with an update. Thursday morning came and went and we never received any calls from him at all. We started attempting to contact him again for an update and our calls went straight to voice mail. We reached him after calling him using a different phone number when he said he would call us back within an hour, good news or bad. Two hours later, still no call. We called him numerous times throughout Thursday in hope for updates because we were leaving the state Friday morning. After receiving no response at all from David we called another company to arrange the shipment for our vehicles. We then called David, which went straight to voice mail, and told him we were cancelling his service because of a total lack of communication. David quoted me a price of $895 to ship from FL to CA. I paid $295 deposit on my credit card and was to pay the balance on my card on day before delivery. David had to change drivers which delayed the pick up of my car by 4 days. It was a week of a particularly bad snowstorm up North and that was the stated reason for the delay. David did respond to my phone calls regarding this although sometimes I had to call more than once. When I got the call from the driver the evening before the dropoff he let me know was expecting $750 COD. After a morning of messages back and forth between the 3 of us David charged my card for $650 and I was willing to pay the $50 more as David obviously had to pay more to the second driver after he had to change drivers due to weather issues. He sent $750 to the driver and I got my car. He did, in fact, get it done even in the face of problems beyond his control, and I would probably use this company again. read more

I posted an ad looking to get a Ford F-350 Dually shipped from California to Tennessee. I received several quotes and the one from "get it done transport" (should be never get it done) was about in the middle on price at $990.00. I was not much concerned with price as much as who could get it there quickly. I called David Pein who says he's the president of the company and told him i had a quote number and wanted to see about scheduling a pick up date. Once he looked at the quote he ended up just hanging the phone up. I waited a few minutes to see if he would call back and he didn't so I called him back and and let him know that wasn't very good customer service. He told me his quote was not quoted for a dually and it would be more, so I said okay what are we looking at? He said he would check on a few things and call me right back. I waited all day and that never happened. I emailed him this morning letting him know I was not happy with the customer service and this is the response i got back from David. "No disrespect I think what happen here is you see that you were quoted A LOT lower then anyone else quoted you and you want it done at that rate, so the real issue isnt that i didnt call you back with a quote the real issue is you want that price. the first thing i I clearly said to you is it a dully? When you said yes i made it clear I dont think it will get done at that price and i would have to look into the quote. it appears the nightmare stories about this company and its owners are valid as i have had the exact same experience. my experience has been thus far exactly how other previous customers have described in these reviews. i am currently trying to work with the company to remedy the situation, but so far i have only been met with lies, excuses, threats, and harassment. so far, i have been yelled at by the owner over the phone (for now i will give him the benefit of the doubt, as it appears he was given some misinformation by the his sales rep that initially contacted me and contracted services - either way, i have never heard of or experienced an owner that handled his customers in this way), and threatened, harassed, and lied to by his staff. this business is bound to fail, if not, there needs to be many more people enter this line of business as there is not enough competition if a company can survive with this level of incompetence. do not do business with this company. it has cost me money, valuable time, and been very stressful over the past couple of days. no one needs this time of stress over a simple business interaction. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a carrier even if it cost MUCH more. this business operates like a fly-by-night con operation. you have been forewarned. i am attempting one more time to give them an opportunity to make it right. lets see what happens. now, if by some magical alignment of the stars, they correct things and apologize i will add another post to this review. if not, i am contacting the business bureau and getting a lawyer on Monday. i advice others to do the same. breach of contract, threats, harassment, stress, incurred cost due to there incompetence are real. read more

Initially David was good about communicating with me and answered all my questions. Once the car was picked up his communication halted and became sporadic at best. I was initially told that the car would be delivered on a Wednesday but it was not delievered until Friday. When I called David on Wednesday, he told me he would get in touch with the driver and get back to me..he never did. I followed up with a phone call on Thursday and he promised me he would call me back in 15 minutes. I never received a phone call. I did receive one from the driver on Friday evening stating that he could not deliver it to my home or my neighborhood and I would need to meet him a few miles away and he did not accept credit cards, which was something David never told me. I attempted to contact David that night and never heard back. The only response I have had from him since then was to ask me to review him, which is what I am doing now. I am not sure if all transportation companies work this way or if there are better and worse ones out there. In the future I will be sure to be much more thorough with my research in picking a company to help with this. read more

Kat was great and very responsive. My car was picked up from Las Vegas and Delivered to Wisconsin within 4 days. The carrier Alex communicated with me during the entire process. Took pictures of the vehicle after loaded, texted me his ETA and called me the day before delivery to schedule a time. Could not be happier. read more

The man in charge there is David Pein, just a simple liar. He scheduled delivery of my car 2-3 weeks in advance assuring me that they will pick it up on the scheduled day and he will call me 2 days prior pick up. Never ever called me back, never responded on my messages. He just gives you the cheapest quote, which I found later is absolutely not realistic to get this job gone. So the best way to deal with this company is just rename it to "NEVER GET IT DONE TRANSPORTATION". read more
