Perhaps a more fair and mature review is due here. First off, I had a fairly decent time setting up a cross country transport and negotiating the price. The driver showed up on time but when it came time to take possession of my vehicle they marked up the condition of my vehicle in a way that would suggest it came straight from a demolition derby. The driver did not relent upon my objection to this, so I started taking photos of my vehicle with the driver in the background as proof of it's condition. I also crossed out a large portion of the liability limits portion of the contract because it basically made them responsible for nothing, which is absurd when paying $825 for safe transport of such an expensive item. Don't be afraid to amend the contract, I doubt any driver is going to walk away from the deal once they are already there. After all, they are just freelancers who are scheduled by these companies (also they only charge $600 and do all the work less the booking and billing). My vehicle arrived early (3 days total from Vegas to Atlanta) and was in the exact same condition. However, the items in the back of my vehicle were in disrepair. I had a very lightweight hanging picture in a frame and the bottom was scratched horrifically as if someone would have had to go out of their way to drag the 10lb item across concrete. Also, another original painting on the canvas had a giant hole right through it. I rang the owner, Dave, upon the discovery a few hours after the drop off and explained that I would like to know what happened. He said it was likely done by the DOT because they often inspect the vehicles. I asked him politely to get the info from the driver on exactly where and when my items were inspected so I could file a official complaint --after all, nobody has the right to be negligent with another's personal property. No call back. Ever. And that is very rude, so the whole experience is now a rotten memory due to Dave's laziness or a fear of having to take some responsibility for allowing another to damage my property when it was under your care. I SUGGEST BOOKING THROUGH ANOTHER - THEY ALL PRETTY MUCH USE THE SAME POOL OF DRIVERS & FOR A $225 CUT OFF THE TOP I WOULD EXPECT A CALL BACK. ITS NOT LIKE THEY DO MUCH ELSE. read more

I posted about two weeks ago and just saw that this company commented back on my review... They apologized for being delayed on picking up my car. There was no delay because I had more than enough time before I needed my car shipped when I first spoke with this company. He also mentioned that I panicked and went to another company that told me that this company was a scam. There was no panic because again, I was in no rush.. They seemed sketchy after my first phone call with them and I'm upset I didn't back out then.. He also said that no deposit is taken until they found a truck to take my car. Once again, a lie! They took my deposit immediately and then never even told me that they found a driver until after they FINALLY answered their phone and told me that they found a driver for me, in a tone like I should've known this already. Get it done Transportation did not get it done for me. They were supposed to pickup up my car on a Tuesday, Wednesday the latest going from LI to Tenn. No show no call. I had to cancel my airline reservation which cost me hundreds of dollars because it was the Thanksgiving week. They didn't even answer the phone to give me an update on the auto pickup, is anyone coming or not? I finally got thru to them because I called on a different phone line which they didnt know it was me, what kind of way to run a business. I finally got the drivers phone number who told me he couldn't pickup the car until Sat, 3 days later than promised. I believe I should have my $190 deposit refunded back because they didn't perform the service they promised, and were very unprofessional in not answering my phone calls, emails, or voice messages. read more

My car was scheduled for pick up on March 20th and the driver NEVER showed up! I never heard the driver, I never heard from the guy that set up the move. No answer to my many calls and texts. What a nightmare. I was about to pay my brother in law to drive it down to me but I received a call from Dennis at Get it Done Transportation and he really worked magic. My car was picked up in 26 hours from the date we booked the transport, Dennis texted me all the info I needed to reassure I would be okay. I set up delivery of my F250 from Cedar City Utah to my home in Southern California on 5/26 for delivery on June 3 or 4th no later by Kat Jolly at Get it Done. The afternoon of the 3rd rolls around and no truck arrives. I call not gonna get it done and talk to a man named Bill and he has no idea where my truck is and says he'll call me back. I called the dealership where my truck is stranded and nobody has been by to pick it up. I call Bill back again and leave a voicemail with no return phone call. June 4 arrives and still no truck. At the time of my review, it is currently June 5, I'm out 120 dollar deposit for transport of my vehicle which is two days late with no communication from the company and no delivery date known. The folks from Get it Done need to re-evaluate their business practices and stop deceiving customers. This is an excerpt from the email they sent me after placing the order with them. They do NOT get it done. I wish I would have trusted my instincts after reading the reviews on yelp, as I usually do. They had us listed for a simple transport for a week with zero movement or communication, outside of our persistent calls to them which eventually became completely unresponsive. This caused us to need to rent a car for an extra amount of time, to the tune of a few hundred dollars. On top of that, when we tried to call Kat to cancel with them she simply would not take our calls or text. She did however take us off the list for shipment, we found out through the other company we used. How unprofessional is that!?!? I might add that using this other company, we had a pick up confirmed in 30 MINS!!!! We wasted a week and money going through this company, so I hope others will see these many reviews are a warning. David was nice; however, his services were not reliable in my experience. He hardly ever called when he said he would call, he did not secure a driver for me despite saying he did, and he did not cancel my service appropriately and remove me from the pickup board as he stated. I was still receiving calls about if I needed to have my car picked up from other companies. Moreover, he did not refund my deposit as he said he would, and I had to dispute it with my bank, which I shouldn't have had to do. If you need your car shipped, I highly suggest you go with a more reputable company, even if the price is a little higher. I changed companies, got my car picked up when I needed it to be picked up. The company said my car was at the bottom of the list, and would likely not get picked up in the time frame that I needed it to be with David's company. He also said, that David would call me and say he had a driver, but that he could assure me that David didn't based on my placement. David did indeed tell me that when I told him I wanted to cancel, and he was still unable to secure a driver. I have NEVER done a rating on a business and left them with a bad review. I am all about customer service. After having vehicles transported for several years due to us moving a lot (we are a military family). I normally switch up transportation companies depending on where in the US we are located at the time. When I contacted Mr. David at "Get It Done Transportation" he did not hesitate to take my deposit and tell me that they can get the job done. I placed my request on Feb 8th 2018 and I needed service on or by Feb 25th 2018. Plenty of time to let me know if you cannot honor the request in a timely manor. Well nope, not Mr. David. He never dialed my number to say anything. He never had a driver call me or contact me at all. I called him the closer it got to the date of my husband having to report to our next duty station. Mr. David would always say he is headed to the office or he will look into it and give me a call back in 2 minutes. NEVER CALLED EVER!! My husband has to report to a duty station when the Army says and Mr. David knew my situation. It got down to the day we had to leave and Mr. David continued to tell me that he was working on getting my vehicle picked up every time I called him throughout the entire day. After reading reviews on his official business page before I chose his company, I decided to look him up on YELP. I am so glad I did because his business page had only positive reviews about how wonderful the company is. I read the reviews here and it helped me with my next move of contacting my credit card company and disputing the charge. See, Mr. David will drag you and your open request along until it is to late to dispute the credit card charge to collect your deposit back for a job that he has no plans on delivering. He never called me to apologize, and he never picked up my vehicle. We ended up having to figure out how to get 2 vehicles, 3 kids, a dog, and a U-Haul trailer that we had already paid for transported to our next destination which was suppose to be a 11 hour drive that turned into 20 hours! I can work with anyone as long as they communicate with me. He failed at everything as far as customer service. Please be very careful if you choose this company to do a job for you and your family. All I can say is that the reviews on YELP for this company basically were identical to what I went through with this company. I had the worst experience ever and I do not plan on recommending anyone to use GET IT DONE TRANSPORTATION. Cheaper is not always better. The cheap price represented the cheap customer service that I did NOT GET. Long story short, GET IT DONE TRANSPORTATION DID NOT GET ANYTHING DONE. Please think twice before you select this company to provide vehicle transportation! After being charged the deposit and paying it to the company, a date was set to transport my car from NY to MD. When that date came, I waited the entire day for the delivery. I called the company and they apologized and promised that the delivery would take place the following day. Again, I waited all day and the car was not delivered. Again, I notified the company and was told that the car was being loaded on their truck that afternoon and I would get it that evening. No delivery. I was told that the driver would call me and if my car was not delivered, the company would refund the deposit with an additional $50.00 for my time. The driver did call and explained that he did not pick up the car that afternoon but assured me that he would pick up the car the following morning and I would get the car that afternoon. AGAIN, no car, no call, no explanation, no apology! I recalled the company and canceled the delivery, requesting my deposit back and the additional $50.00. I have never transported a car and when I reached out to companies, I got a LOT of emails and calls from very aggressive people and most seemed like a scam, honestly. However, when I talked to Marc, he seemed sincere and honest, so I went with my gut and hired Get it Done Transportation. The transaction went PERFECT, as he said. They were on time, very communicative and NO HIDDEN fee's! I was waiting for the "it will be an extra $100 for this or that", but NOPE! We agreed on the cost, I paid a small deposit, they picked it up, delivered it 2000 miles away, on time and I paid the balance (which was EXACTLY what we talked about). Take it from me, finding a trustworthy person in their industry seemed very hard. I feel fortunate to have met Marc, so I highly recommend him and his company. Thanks for being honest, Marc! Despite the great reviews & BBB rating I had a poor experience. After gaining my business I received estimated pickup dates (9/26-9/28) I called and called to find out if a driver had been assigned. Maria rarely returned phone calls & no emails because her phone was constantly ringing (per her explanation). We moved out on 9/29, so when they finally assigned a driver for 9/30, my neighbor battling cancer had to give the keys. Upon receipt of my vehicle the back tire was low, found out that the rim was bent in and making the tire leak air. Cost me $130 to fix. I've called and emailed Get It Done with no response as of yet, & will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I won't use them again read more

This place is a joke! After receiving piss poor service for a 4 day stretch, I ended up going back to my original plan and had the dealership transport my new Jag for me. Took them a day to get a truck to pick up and another day to deliver. Less time it took this place to return a call (which they never did!). I reviewed my experience with "Get It Done Transportation" on transportreviews.com and they protested to get my review removed because it was unfavorable instead of fessing up to their shortfalls. I run my own business and I know when to say I screwed up to a customer! The onus is then put on the reviewer to prove that the review should remain "unhidden" on their site. What another joke! In any event, I will avoid reviews on transportreviews.com going forward since any transporter/broker can call foul on a bad review and get it omitted. Plus, I tend to try to support small business as much as possible. The email from Get it Done Transportation appeared automated but included a quote, info about the company, reference to their transportreviews.com feedback, a claim of 24-7 customer service, how you can speak to the owner, how my car would be picked up in 3-4 days guaranteed, how he would not spam you, and a note on no upfront fees. I was sold. That's when it went down hill. I replied to the email stating that I wanted to book but had a few questions... crickets. No response. I tried calling and left a message. No response. That lack of response just have tipped me off, but I guess I was hard headed. I called the next day and got David. Mentioned that I emailed and left a message.. nothing...no apology. I then proceeded to discuss my pickup. I was not completely sold but was required to give my credit card number before he would commit to working my transport. This was the start of my headache. Waited, called, waited, emailed, waited... little to no responses. I was given a timeframe and that came and gone without a word from David. I left messages with his "customer service" line, text, email, nothing. I got pissed to the point where I said screw it.. if he charges my card I'll just dispute it with the credit company. Luckily he did not. I ended up going back to the dealer and had them ship the car. The pickup occurred exactly on time and the driver that was hired off of central dispatch (the same system these brokers use and charge you an arm and a leg for to do nothing but post your listing and pocket a hefty commission) got my car to me in 1 day flat. I would stay away from Get it Done Transportation if you have a timeline you need to stick to or even come close to. This is a one-man outfit that is very unresponsive and seems a bit overwhelmed. I wanted to cancel my request after doing more research into this company and the legitimacy of Transport Reviews. Based on the terms and services I was capable of getting a full refund of my initial $245 deposit because I had't been assigned a carrier. However, David said I was assigned a carrier, and could only refund $100. However, I never was told that I was assigned a carrier and David could not provide proof. Thus, I wouldn't agree to a $100 refund, and asked for the full refund of $245. After a few emails back and forth he finally agreed that the refund would be confirmed the next business day by his wife. A day passed, and I didn't hear anything. No Email. No phone call. No communication. I called my bank immediately to file a dispute and submitted a complaint on BBB. Several days later I get an email from David that mentioned how he got the complaint from BBB, and he promised he would get it processed the next day (the same thing he promised the week before). Also, he told me to cancel my dispute with my bank because he would hate for his deposit to go through when the deposit went through with my bank. Yeah, I didn't fall for that one. I called him out about how he wasn't A+ accredited with the BBB like he claimed in a Rip Off Report, and he said this was news to him and it would be an A+ a week later. How is it news when you just got the complaint from me? More smooth talk. Don't EVER let your guard down with David and his "virtuous and professional family business." This was the first time that I have ever used an auto transportation company. If you have been through the process, it is actually not as easy as it may seem. The research alone is quite rigorous and the many options that are out there makes the final decision really difficult. But I went ahead and chose Get It Done Transportation. Not only did they instantly respond with the cheapest quote, they were also a small family-operated business with 17 years experience. I spoke directly with Marc Abreu and his down-to-earth demeanor told me that this would be a worry-free, stress-free process. By trusting my instincts, I was right. The process was reliable, punctual, and direct -- no surprises and complications. The only issue that I faced while working with them was communication. I would call Marc directly (because he gave me his direct line) to make additional requests and ask further questions but he never replied. Overall, I would use them again and I would recommend using them to anybody who is looking for an auto transportation company -- maybe try to ask all of your questions and make all of your requests right when you set up the transaction? read more

They gave me a contract, the proceeded to ignore every promise they made and every obligation they had. They told me the guaranteed amount and a week prior, when "I" called to get an update, the phone was finally picked up after leaving multiple messages and calling like 5 times. I made sure to call during business hours (9am to 8pm Eastern Time), and the guy who picked up said he was super busy and would get back to me with the update. That is NOT what he did. Matter of fact, he texted that to me instead of calling and ignored all of my calls all day. I was still being polite, he said his phone died and he used a crying emoji "friggin first truck was delayed and finagling things..." I just wanted to know when it was getting picked up. on the 28th he said 100% tomorrow. At 1pm, I was getting worried. I asked him will I get a call when they arrive. "Yes." then silence 7:14pm I texted "haven't heard or seen anything" 10:17, texted "Who's coming to pick up m vehicle, can I get a number." The next day, I tell him by 9 or I have to leave and put the key in a lock box. He must have managed to get somebody, but of-course they wouldn't make it on the 30th. They picked it up on Dec 1st. It showed up on the 4th of Dec, and I had to pay the man $800 on pick up. Now originally, I paid $180 deposit, and the total was to be 830. So I expected to see $150 returned. I couldn't even be there for the pickup inspection and had to buy a magnetic key box for my car and park it in a public and clearly visible are near the home I left, because how late they were. The inspector just signed for me, but honestly he's just a driver and for a much more hones company so. If he told me his quote was BS, I had other options that were cheaper and if it was that 2 weeks out, I probably would have just paid and not worried about it, but lying several times, and now me calling and him lying again about returning MY money. On 3/17/2021 I paid a deposit to have my Toyota MR2 shipped from FL to MI on 4/6/2021 as I was to fly out 4/7/2021. I was told a driver would contact me the day before to confirm time and location of pickup. I called 4/1/2021 to ensure we were on schedule and was assured all was well. After 1:00pm on 4/5/2021 I began texting, emailing and calling since I had not yet heard from a driver. I was told twice 1:35 and 3:10 they would contact dispatch and get back with me. The third and fourth calls were not answered at 4:48 and 6:45. At 6:55 pm I called the emergency phone number provided on the recording from my previously unanswered attempts. I was then told by a different representative that the driver was delayed and they were looking for a new driver. I was told I would receive a call first thing in the morning. That was the last correspondence from "get it done transportation inc." I enjoyed! Do yourself a favor and move on to a reputable carrier, so that you may have an opportunity to actually GET IT DONE!!! read more

I have used their service last Feb 2017. It went really well. My representative that I was working with was great. Since I had a good experience last time, I decided to use them again. I paid for the deposit and working with the President of the company. Great in the beginning but once I paid the deposit, it was tough to get a hold of anyone and hard to get an email reply. I was advised that the order was booked and assigned. I called the assigned trucking company and they advised me that the order was refused by them and could not believe that my broker has not notified me. I cancelled the order and the owner/President of the company confirmed that I will get a refund 5-7 business days for the refund to show back on my visa/check card. Aug 1 was the 7th day and I called my bank and they checked with Visa to see if there's a transaction going back to my account and there is no refund. I was told that the credit goes to Visa Company and their the one who process it and transfer back to my banking institution. Needless to say... The refund was never processed on the day that I was told the 21st of July 2017. Very unhappy. Though I have read some bad reviews, but still didn't believe it as I was happy with my previous experience with them. This moment in time... I would not recommend them. My son is in the Military and back in Feb 2017 after receiving the car in Norfolk, VA... My son has referred them to other Military personnel on his carrier. I am disappointed. Its now almost to the end of August and no refund yet. Had to let our bank to take care of it. Added comment 09/17/2017 The comment below by the President David P. was irrelevant to my review. On March 13th, I found I needed to ship a car from Tulsa, OK, to Reno, NV. So, I went to a web site that solicited bids from various shippers. Get It Done Transportation was the low bid at $790, so I went with them, finalizing the deal on March 16th. It is now May 9th, and I still haven't received my car. The owner said he'd refund my $100 deposit and apply it to the driver's fee. That was a lie, he never refunded my money. On top of that, the driver is asking for $915 cash on delivery. So, that's $1015 I will have paid for a job that was bid at $790. I called the owner to complain when I found that he hadn't refunded my money, but he hasn't called me back. I sent an email to them, and no response. There's no way on God's green earth I would ever use these crooks again. This is an update, in response to what the owner wrote below: 1. I never received a check from you. You claim to have sent one, but I never received it. If you did send it, I'm sure you'd have a copy of the check from the bank, with my signature on the back to show that I deposited it. 2. Your claim of communication is pure BS. I left you voicemail and emails with my complaints, and you never once tried contact me. Even when I left this review, you couldn't bother to call me. 3. When I read what you wrote below, I called you immediately to tell you that I never got a check from you. You took my name and number, and promised you'd call back in 45 minutes. It's now 3 hours later, and you still haven't called. I am betting you won't call me again. 4. I don't care about what you have to do to get drivers to pick up loads. If you can't perform the job at the agreed-upon price, that's YOUR problem, not the customer's. So, if you underbid a job, you have no right to pass the extra cost on to your customers. Overall, I enjoyed working with Get it Done. There was a delay in picking up my vehicle (3 days late but the customer service was great. I contacted Kat daily & she returned my call every time. Also, they gave me a guaranteed price and they kept their word despite being unable to find a driver for that price. The driver (Kenneth with Prime Transport LLC) was great. My car had a little sludge on the windshield so he gave me money for a car wash. I recommend Get it Done. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DO ANY BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY!This company is a joke and Dave pien? is a joke . Told me i had to give him a deposit of $350 just to reserve a spot for Monday pickup.(850$ total to ship) Truck didn't show and seller i bought car from did not received any calls for pick up. So I call Dave and he said truck is at a auction waiting to load will be there in a few.( The seller i bought car from is leaving wensday for 4 or 5 days).after few hours i call back and he said he has a single car hauler on the way.I ask for money back and he bs's me into waiting.(someone is On the way) i hang up and his driver that's On The way calls ,they will be there 1st thing Tuesday after dental appointment? I call back and more bullshit. Doesn't want to give deposit back! I let him know if not there in morning I'll rent trailer and go get car.seller calls at 10:30 on Tuesday and a car hauler is there (not single car hauler).and seller does not release car.think god! So they pick up car at 2:45 and come towards Bristol tn.I ask for eta on car and driver said wensday 10:00 am. The delivery lady then tells me I owe her $700 cash upon delivery of car. (Remember $350 deposit $850 total) i tell her about the deal with Dave and we both call ,NO ANSWER. she text me and said he text and told her he will make it right.I call him tuesday in a.m. and tell him I'm not paying ,then he tells me he will refund $200 to my card.she shows up and I got an email that $150 was refunded. so i sucked it up learned a lesson about dishonest people and paid the lady $700 .by the way, sweet lady seemed honest. I had to move from Philadelphia to California on short notice for a job. After shopping around at a few companies, I decided to go with Get It Done Transportation (David Pein) due to Dave's responsiveness and reasonable quote. He originally promised that the car would be delivered within 10 days. This did not come close to happening. He booked me with a company called FHT Transport (ABC Auto), and assured me that he had a longstanding history with FHT. Dave was fantastic in getting my car picked up quickly, and for the first week, things seemed to be going OK. Needless to say, things did not go OK. If you'd like a more detailed review of what went wrong, please see my review for FHT. I acknowledge that much of what happened was out of Dave's control, but I do hold him at fault for booking such a horrible transport service, for not helping to manage deadlines that they continually failed to meet, and for selling this company as a reliable transport service (which they clearly were not). At the end of the day, I wouldn't book with Dave again, however, I wouldn't completely discourage others from giving him a try. Just be sure to independently research/verify anything that's presented, and be generous with your timeline in receiving your car. read more
