This company is awful. I should have read the reviews. They were to transport my son's car from Arizona to NJ between 5/6 and 5/8, while I was in Arizona visiting my son for graduation. I stressed the importance of being able to transport the car in that time frame as my son was leaving Arizona. I must have called the company 2 dozen times, and NEVER once did they return my call. On the rare occasions they picked up, the owner said he would get back to me in 15 minutes and never did. He promised the the driver was "on his way" twice. Finally, after the last promised date went past (on May 10, after I had received the last promise that the vehicle was on his way and would pick up the car in the evening of May 9 or on the morning of May 10), I requested my deposit back. My son was forced to stay in Arizona to attempt to sell the vehicle instead. read more

If you're planning on using this company...BEWARE. I used Get It Done Transportation (GIDT) to transport my mother's vehicle 2 years ago, and all went without a snag. HOWEVER...I was going to use their service this year, but what happened while I was setting up the service this week borders on fraudulence. Unbeknownst to me and without my authorization, GIDT saved my credit card from 2 years ago and never deleted it from their system. When David M. was taking down my information, he said I would need to pay a deposit, and I explained I would need to call back later with my mother's credit card number because the service was for her. GIDT decided to help themselves to my personal credit card that they had in their system from 2 years ago and processed the charge for the deposit and did not wait for me to call back with my mother's credit card number. Not only did they process a charge I hadn't authorized, they charged me $175 deposit when David had quoted me $150. After I spoke with David the first time, I received an email which I thought was a quote for the service. It said that the deposit was $170 so I emailed David asking him to confirm that the deposit amount to which he replied confirming it was $150. That same evening, I was checking my credit card account online for something unrelated and noticed a charge from GIDT for $175 which I found shocking since I hadn't provided them with a credit card number to set up the transport service. I immediately emailed David to dispute this charge and requested that GIDT void this charge. When I didn't receive a reply back, the next day I spoke with David, and he said they would process a refund and that they would confirm via email. I have not heard back at all from GIDT so now I've had to submit a dispute claim to my credit card company. Based on others' reviews on Yelp, it appears that Get It Done Transportation has a pattern of charging customers' credit cards without their authorization. I cannot do business with a company that is not trustworthy. Well This was total bs. I listened to Joe (and then David) and the lies fall off their tongue so easily as they have done it so many times. You can almost smell apple pies baking in the background and hear baseball in the back of your mind talking to these "good ol boys". Well that is where it ends. This is some of the presale crap: You are helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey, a mom or dad put food on the table, a family pay a mortgage, or a student pay for college. They say "10 point inspection of your vehicle at pick up and the exact 10 point inspection at drop off to make sure it arrives in the exact condition." None was done on pick up. Driver told me he did not do one because the car was "flawless" He said the same to the previous owner. When I asked for one upon delivery(That wasn't even near where it was supposed to be, we had to drive mines from our house to find him and he unloaded my car on someones private property with out permission) he refused and said it was exactly the way it was when he picked it up(although was delivered a day later, left outside god knows were all night with no protection) When I pointed out a scratch all the way to the metal and strap burns on a fender he got in my face and started yelling at me. Also the previous owned told me the driver did not remove the two license plate screws and just tore the bracket off the bumper and the braket was destroyed and needed to be replaced as it was part of the car I bought.This is what they sent me before I paid:NO HIDDEN FEES, All inclusive, Door to door service, taxes, tolls, mileage, gas, insurance (up 150k, with NO deductible to you), So I call Joe and Dave and am told not to worry about it and I go and get an estimate at a reputable place and it is over $2200.00. I send it to Dave. At this point they refuse to answer my phone calls and emails. Dave tells me that they will no longer use that driver. Like what good does that do me? The driver and his boss will not talk to me. When I called them all they did was yell. I wish I never used these people. They promise the world and if everything goes smoothly I'd imagine they are fine. However if you need them as they promise the will be there for you. You get nothing. Do not use these liars. Spread the word. In fact google them, MANY sites about fraud and bad service, taking deposits and not even picking up the cars. I hired this transportation company. They hired the driver, not me. Now I have a Shelby show car with $2200.00 damage and there is no sight of compensation from these asses. read more

First time to move a vehicle across the country. Get It Done made it extremely easy, and care-free. They were not the lowest cost hauler, but the service and communication (as well as the car arriving safely and in tact) were well worth the price. Ed kept me up to date throughout the process, and answered texts when sent. The drivers that picked up and delivered the car were professional and thorough. I have to say that this was my first experience and thanks to David Pein, it was a positive one! My husband was getting back from his one year deployment and we were getting stationed to a different state. I literally called to ask a day before if we could get our vehicle transported and with no problems, it was taken care of. The vehicle actually arrived before we got there, but early is always better than late. However, the driver worked with us because they were early and it wouldn't have been easy to get on base with the truck. So they left the vehicle specifically where we asked them and when we got there, everything was perfect! I tried to use this company in August 2018. I was going to write how horrible this company & the owner, David, is, when I saw a review from Brandon G dated 3/19/19. I shipped my vehicle with this company from Montana to Seattle and he failed on many accounts to keep me updated on the status when the driver would arrive to pick up my vehicle. I scheduled it to be picked up on a certain day prior to me leaving for the airport, however the driver never came and I had to leave my car and take my flight out to Seattle. When I asked what he could do about this he asked "Can you leave your keys under the mat of the car? Or leave it on the tire?" Very unprofessional because I had belongings in the car and someone could easily have access to and STEAL my car at any moments notice. It took about 5 days for the car to finally get picked up. It seemed that another driver was dispatched and was requesting for more money than originally quoted. The car got there safely, but after much grief and not knowing the status of my car for several days. I do not recommend you shipping with this company. The owner is very dismissive and will not talk to customers for very long (I called him a lot and when I finally reached him, the call was like 15 seconds longs stating, "Oh let me call you back" etc. but NEVER any call back or update. He would even say things like, "do you think I want this to happen either?" Like as a customer I'm supposed to have sympathy for him when I am paying him for a service. I decided to wait a week before I wrote a review to give myself some time to think it through. I had a generally unimpressive experience working with these guys, but I understand that some of it was outside of their control, so I wanted keep it short, sweet, and rational. We were repositioning from Margate to KC and had one more car than we could take with us. After plugging my info into some clearinghouse's quote form, I got emails and phone calls from at least a dozen transport brokers. I decided to go with GID for a few reasons: I always like giving the small biz guy my money when I can, the quote was one of the more reasonable, and they make a lot of claims on their web site about how well they can stick a schedule. The process turned in to two weeks of missed communication, from David at GID to me, from the drivers who picked up the contract to me and to the shop where my car was waiting, and between GID and the drivers trying to nail down the details. My car did finally get to KC, and it was in great shape when it got there. David refunded a chunk of my deposit (aka, his broker fee) for the hassles we had in getting things done on schedule. But the whole process left a bad taste. I do hope that my experience was an anomaly and that it goes better for anyone else. read more

Dennis Addesso of get it done stole my car, as of the writing of this complaint a police report has been filed with Austin police department on the case of grand theft auto. I used the website carship.com to request a shipping quote. Moments later I'm being contacted by different companies sending their quotes. Get it done asks me for the vehicle's information, the lot number, buyers name in other to produce an accurate quote. I sent him the information he requested, I look him up and red flags went flying. I immediately texted him to hold off on the pick up and that he should not send anyone to pick up my car and since no deposit has been he does not have authorization to pick up my car from the auction. I had everything arranged through another company that is reputable, I could sense the difference between the new company and this shady dude. The next morning this dude texts me asking for his fee, I thought he was trying to charge me a fee for sending in a quote so I just ignored him. I contacted the car auction to find out this criminal already went ahead and picked up my car without authorization. I called him and demanded that he return the car to the auction because another company already sent a driver to pick it up. He kept demanding for his fee of $140 before releasing the whereabouts of my car, I quickly advised that the car is equipped with real time GPS tracking and that I'll be reporting my car stolen. He sent me the information of another shady company (PamWay logistics llc) with russian dudes answering the phone and lying constantly about the whereabouts of my car. Once I got their information I called a guy named Joey (real name zoran kirovski) with thick Russian accent answered phone and said my car will be delivered next day morning and that I should wait for a call from the driver. The next morning my car nor the driver was no where onsite, I called them and they said they don't where the driver is and that they will call me back momentarily they never called. I called the driver and he said he was still in Alabama the original place where he picked up the car, and that he'll deliver it around 4pm in Texas which is another lie because you couldn't drive from Al to Tx in that amount of time. 4pm came and they switched the delivery to 8pm, 8pm came and they said next day noon. Next day noon and this crooks said 5pm, 5pm came and they said it'll be 8pm. I called my police department and filled a report. Meanwhile the broker that booked them said to me it is out of his hands and that he is like a travel agent if my flight got delayed I wouldn't be mad at the travel agent because there's nothing he can do. GID are completely unprofessional. They will do and say anything to secure your business, then completely leave you out to dry. I initially contacted Kat Jolly on Friday and had to leave a message. She called me back Saturday afternoon and we started to discuss the rates and shipping duration. She informed me that my car would be picked up in Orlando, FL on Monday, and delivered to Brooklyn, NY on Friday. Upon hearing this, I told her nevermind because I was leaving town on Friday and could make other arrangements to get my car. She told me, "Well let me contact the driver and see the earliest we can get your car to New York." Kat then called me back within 10 minutes and guaranteed that my car would be picked up on Monday and delivered on Wednesday. I decided to go ahead and book my shipping through them. Tuesday comes, I call Kat and once again, no answer. I contact the courier company and the phone attendant was completely flabbergasted to hear that I was told I would receive my car on Wednesday because the driver had pick ups and drop offs in Tampa, Clearwater, Naples, Miami, as well as Ft. Lauderdale BEFORE returning to New York. I finally get in contact with Kat on Wednesday night after numerous calls to her, and all she says is, "let me look into it." I get a call from a Dave that works at GID and he kept saying, "I'm working on it" This is Thursday after numerous calls to him. It is clear I was lied to in order to secure my business, once my car was picked up there was nothing I could do. The driver nor the carrier ever told anyone at GID that my car would be delivered on Wednesday, and the people at GID just avoided me until I got my car. I have yet to receive an apology for any type of inconvenience or misunderstanding. I will most definitely NEVER do business with them again. read more

In early May 2016, my wife and I needed to have a vehicle delivered to our son who is away in college by June 4, 2016. After conducting a thorough research, I was able to locate a broker, Get It Done and spoke with Kat Jolly. Kat appeared to be very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease, thus giving her (Get it Done) the business. Kat gave me a quote of $475.00 to have the vehicle delivered from my residence to Colorado. Kat informed me that a credit card charge between $120.00 to $190.00 would be charged on the day of the pick up. Kat "assured me that price of $475.00 would not change"and provided me with a quote number and I wrote it down as I kept thorough notes! As the pick up date neared I provided Kat with my credit card number. On May 31, 2016, I noticed a charge of $45.00 dollars to my credit card from Get It Done. Later that same day, I received a call from "Jay" from "All Start Auto Transport". Jay informed me that he was on his to way to my house to pick up the vehicle. The phone call caught us off guard because we were never given a date by Kat regarding the pick up date... Thank goodness we were home, if not we would have missed the transport vehicle! I called Kat to verify two things, 1) The $45.00 credit card charge and 2) That "Jay" from All Star Auto Transport was the assigned carrier. Kat was unavailable and I left her a message. She later returned my call and confirmed the $45.00 charge and the carrier. Kat said the balance of $550.00 would be owed to the driver upon the vehicle's delivery. When I informed her of the $120.00 "increase" she mentioned that the "price never changed". When I told her that my notes indicated $475.00 she mentioned that I was incorrect as her notes did not reflect the rate of $475.00. Kat asked me if I had and e-mail from her confirming the rate of $475.00 and that's when I knew she had me... I'm a retired Police Sergeant and I've should have known better that "If it's not written down, it never happened'! Because we were on the 11th hour and our son needed the vehicle by the weekend, we didn't have a choice but to pay the extra $120.00 dollars! My wife and I learned a valuable lesson that day. We had faith and trusted Kat however she proved us wrong and I expressed our disappointment with "Get It Done". I strongly recommend to get the quote in "WRITING" on a official company e-mail or letter head. When Jay from All Start Auto Transport arrived, he was very courteous and professional. I also strongly recommend you contact Jay from All Star Transport (303) 506-5507, this way you can "cut the middle man", i.e., broker. Jay is a true professional and got the vehicle delivered as promised!! "Get It Done" Got It Done alright at an increased rate of $120.00! Took way longer than expected to receive our car but eventually Get It Done did live up to their name. We worked with Brian and if you are considering going through Get It Done I 100000% recommend going through Brian (860-877-7882). He was the most responsive person through the whole process and was able to get in contact with David. The number listed on the Get It Done website only sent us to voicemail and the only way to contact David is through his direct number. This whole process required way more calling and communication than expected (despite talking to David the day before he called us back he didn't seem to remember us at all which was somewhat disappointing), but eventually our car did get here. Once your car is finally scheduled to be picked up David does send a very detailed email with all the necessary pick up info. First transportation company they contracted ghosted and lied about the car being delivered but after reaching back out to Brian he and David were able to contract a new driver who called us the next day and our car was delivered in perfect condition the day after the driver called. Overall this process which was supposed to be 4-5 days took longer was stressful and frustrating at some points (mostly because of the communication issues), I would use Get It Done again, but don't be afraid to keep calling until they help you with what you need! This is also a small family owned business so if that's the kind of company you're looking to support then go with get it done. read more

We are 3 days past the promised date they would have my car shipped. Kat ensured me a pick up date no later than Jan 2nd as we were beginning our drive on the 3rd for our move from Southern California to North Idaho. That never happened, so I had to move my car to my sisters house 45 min away where they would have it picked up on the 3rd. It is now the 5th and my car is still sitting there at my sisters in Riverside County. I am in Montana and need my vehicle up there within a couple days of my getting there because I need to start my job. So now they are compromising that! Oh, and they overcharged my deposit.... Which was only supposed to be taken once a driver was booked. Neither Kat nor David will even return my phone calls now, so I think I am going to have to eat the loss and pay a huge amount to get some other company to pick it up. I hired 'Get it Done Transportation' to move my car and motorcycle from Los Angeles to Chicago. It started simple and easy enough. Fairly priced and easy to communicate with, if I reached out to them. They rarely, if ever, communicated with me if I didn't reach out to them first. When they contracted a transpo company (TJJ), the company just didn't even bother to show. That left Joe at 'Get it Done Transportation' racing to find a last minute fill-in, which they did (Velgard Logistics). I was informed that the cost would be an extra $400, but that my responsibility would be $200. I agreed, reluctantly, to the $200 extra. Then my card got charged $450 extra. Wait, what!!?? Why the extra $250?? I was told and agreed to $200. Why am I being penalized because your transport team didn't show? Velgard shows up at 11:30 at night with a guy who spoke a different language. We could not communicate. Furthermore, he couldn't ride, start or handle a motorcycle. I actually had to load my own motorcycle on a rinky-dink trailer hitched to the back of a heavy duty pickup truck. Velgard showed up at my destination late and they damaged my motorcycle. I tried to speak to dispatch, but no-one could communicate with me due to language barrier. So, 'Get it Done' penalized me for their transport not showing up, had me load my own bike, then delivered to me a damaged (deep scratch) motorcycle. I haven't heard from them since. They were to busy to communicate (their words). They actually played me back a recording of me agreeing to $200 extra. Even if I did, which I didn't, agree to $400 extra, where'd the extra $50 come from?? Joe, nor his Uncle, could account for that. If nice is enough for you, then these are your guys. I don't care how many sprinkles you put on top of dog crap...it's still dog crap!! If communication, competence, clear and fair business practices is what you want, then I suggest you look elsewhere! @David How can it not be common when others have experienced your negligence as well? You've barely answered my calls and didn't give me any information whatsoever. The little information that was conveyed to me, was told by your contractors...rather than you directly. I didn't have an agreement with your contractors, but instead with you, being the manager and representative. I have no emails regarding the requirements which were needed to be met regarding car shipping. And it was not mention in any phone conversations either since I have recordings of all calls that were exchanged as well. It seems the only thing you were concerned about was collecting my money. Which you haven't refunded me for, and resulting in my bank fixing the issue. Lesson: Focus more on your customer service especially if you're managing a company. And have the same diligence in responding to your calls with concerned customers, as you do responding to upset customers that are just reporting their experience. I was stressed about having my car shipped across the country, and I am SO THANKFUL I used Get It Done! After communicating with companies I was not impressed with (either priced extremely high, rude customer service, or just all around sketchy) I was recommended this company by a friend who has used this company twice without issues. Kat was wonderful to communicate with and made the process simple. I was able to pack a reasonable amount of personal items in my car which was so helpful for a cross country move! The driver texted me updates, including route changes he had to take because of bad weather (obviously not his fault) and gave me an accurate estimated time of when to meet him to pick up my car. Despite the bad weather, my car still made it to the destination ahead of schedule and in the same condition it was loaded. Also, Get It Done actually offered me one of the lowest quotes I received and the exact amount quoted was what I ended up paying. Finally, Get It Done didn't harass me with spam calls, texts, and emails which stood out! read more

This is not a good company to ship your vehicle. You will have a hard time getting in touch with them. There are times that I was able to speak with david pein and he keeps telling me he'll give me a call back which NEVER HAPPENED. I spoke to him december 7th and placed my order on the same day and the agreement of our pick-up date was december 14th. My vehicle didn't get picked up and tried to call and he told me he's going to call me back but he didn't. Same thing happened december 17th I was able to speak with him again and told me he'll gonna call me back to give the driver's number but again he never did. And my vehicle didn't get picked up again. They will never update you, inform you if there's gonna be a delay or explain what happened. It's like you have to chase after them and beg for the update or information that you need. I keep asking him what happened and his only response is "I'm going to call you back" but he never did. Used it once before there are small problems too but by that time I don't really have things to do so dates by the previous transaction before the last one is not really a big deal before as long as my vehicle got shipped. It's a totally different scenario now. If you can't keep your agreement or transaction it's a bad business for you. If you can't keep the agreement or there are problems atleast inform your customers because customers has the right to know. I'm really really DISAPPOINTED! NEVER AGAIN! And plus base on what I read on the reviews from other people about the same topic he always says it's rare occurrence but it is obviously not. He will only call you back when your card didn't get through to pay the deposit. Once you gave your deposit you'll be chasing him just so you can speak to him. When you ask questions he will try to avoid answering it. Once he got your money he won't really care anymore. He will promise you that he will give you the driver's number but in my case he didn't. He didn't informed me even the "driver" didn't inform me or my contact person that the vehicle won't be picked up. Your business is service, but you have a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! My experience with Get It Done Transportation was awful. Do yourself a favor and book your transportation elsewhere- plenty of better options than this place. Poor service and communication, contract price not honored, and agreed upon payment method not honored have been my experience with this company/David Pein. Took 3 weeks for $51 refund owed to me after 5 emails, 3 voicemail messages, and speaking with David 2x. David Pein demonstrated very poor communication and is unresponsive to the point I think he is dodging my calls when he sees my number on caller id. We agreed on a price (in writing), and I gave a deposit in September to have my car shipped in November. My car went a day later than scheduled, but that did not bother me so much. What did bother me greatly was the fact David would not give me an exact time of my car's departure which I was trying to plan around (packing and work) so it was very frustrating. He would not return my calls/emails. If/when he does answer the phone, he would ask if he could call me right back in 5 minutes and then never call back. I was left waiting and waiting until the evening of the day my car was scheduled to ship, and that is how/when I figured out my car would not be going on that scheduled day. Extremely poor service to leave somebody hanging like I was left- completely irresponsible and unprofessional not to call me back to say the shipment will actually be the following day vs. the scheduled day. No excuse not to keep me informed- customer service 101. We had agreed when my car was delivered that the balance of the payment would be paid via credit card since I was not going to be in that state yet so I had a friend picking up the car in the other state. The driver of the truck (who was actually pretty nice and not affiliated with Get It Done Transportation) called me as he was dropping off the car to ask where the cash was since his records showed the drop off was, "cash on delivery". I was very taken back by this little "surprise". He held my car for literal ransom and asked if I could have my friends pay him? I would never ask someone to loan me $800, and who keeps $800 cash on hand? Called David multiple times- left voicemail with no return call. Against my better judgment, ended up sending the driver cash via PayPal. And guess what, the amount the driver requested was $51 more than my contract price. I sent David an email marked "urgent". He did call me that evening to say he'd call me the next day because he was not at his computer. There was no follow-up call from him the next day or any day since. Since the delivery of my car and the overpayment on November 23rd, I have been following up with David for my refund/credit of $51. It has been almost 3 weeks and I still have not been refunded the overcharge. I have sent David 5 emails, left him 3 voicemails, and have actually spoken to him a couple of times since the delivery on November 24th to no avail. In fact, David advised me on Dec 1st, that he put the refund through and I should see the credit on my account on Weds or Thurs of that week (Dec 2nd or 3rd). Here it is Dec 12th and still no refund. My last contact was on Dec 9th when I left a voicemail and followed that up with an email. No response from David/Get It Done Transportation. It all started out fine. Dave said "yes we can get your car under ANY circumstances". Car was in FL I'm in NJ. Found out car could NOT be picked up at its location. So I had it jumped, moved and left key in car. I was not told what day or time it would be picked up. My calls were NOT returned. I only got information once the 3rd party transport driver showed up. There was little to no communication, super frustrating. I assumed my car was picked up but had no idea until 3 days later the driver called and said I'm here but can't deliver to your home... had to meet him at a supermarket parking lot. He then said "where's my payment?" What??! I was led to believe Dave had my cc and it was all taken care of. Nope! Ran to the bank and got the driver cash. Was not the drivers fault, I was not informed. It was NOT a good experience. I will not be using this family owned business again. I'm not the type of person who writes reviews online, this is my first and will be my last. If this helps anyone who is in the situation I was in, save yourself the trouble and go with another company. I was looking for shipping quotes to move a 1958 Imperial almost 1,200 miles, and got multiple quotes from various companies. I made a spreadsheet of the offers I got from said companies, and tried to narrow down one-by-one which one I wanted to go with. Get It Done got the highest BBB, Yelp, and AutoTransport.com ratings of them all, so I reach out to them. I should have taken it as a sign when they didn't respond to my first email for 3 days, and that I had to reach out and call myself. I chalked it up to they were busy, they get great reviews, right? David Pein is well spoken over the phone, I explained my situation, and that I was a person who would be shipping other cars in the future, and that I wanted to make a good relationship with a company I could trust. He assured me all was well, and that they were a family owned business with a great track record. I was grateful for his time and glad I had found such an upstanding company to do business with. For what it's worth, most quotes I had gotten for a non-operable car ranged from $1,100-$1,300, with some very low offers being around $1,000. I had read online lowball offers aren't trustworthy. My new offer from David was $1,400, with a $190 'winch fee'. I had no problem with this, because I wanted my car to get here safely and securely, even if it required I pay more. The Monday of the next week, I got a call from a woman about picking up my "1978 Chrysler". I'm not a person who discriminates, what someone speaks is none of my business, however, her english was so poor that I could not understand her. I realized that she said she did not have the correct pick up address for my car. I was quite confused, because I gave David all of this information on 8-23, the pickup address and delivery address. She was having trouble contacting my friend, which I later found out, was because he also could not understand her. That first issue is resolved, the car is loaded, and we go on our way. I got no emails from Get It Done at this time regarding pick up times or estimated delivery times. On 9-2-2020 I got a call from the same woman telling me it would be here in two hours. I drop everything I was doing and go out of my way to work it into my schedule. An hour goes by, two hours go by... I wait four hours to hear something from the woman, the driver, or anything- and nothing happens. So I call, and now she says, "Driver is not responding, sorry, it will be there today" and hangs up on me. I took the day off, I was very stressed about my car. I called David on the same day, and alas, no response, no call back. I talked to my friend I bought the car from, who tells me that he had to load my car, and the truck this man was hauling, for him, because his winch was BROKEN. The winch that they went out of their way to charge me $190 for. About this time, I got a call from the driver. He confirmed his winch was broken and asked if I would like to unload it tonight or in the morning. I said the morning, because I didn't want to have to stay up until 1 a.m. unloading a 5,300 lb car with no winch and no brakes. Next day comes, he arrives at 8 a.m.at the end of my street, idling. I realize this, and walk down. I have to guide him onto my road, which is wide enough for a box trailer and van, that he can't pull an extended cab truck and two car trailer into. We get the large lifted truck off the trailer (for him), and then finally go to get my car off the trailer. I am driving, the hauler is guiding me, however, he was not speaking in english so I had no clue what he was saying. My car drug on the ramps and trailer back as it was coming off, causing some damage underneath on the frame and rocker panels. Damage that would have never occurred had the driver had a working winch. The story gets even better, as once he is ready to leave and has been paid, we have to load the truck back on the trailer, for him. Confused as to how we are going to perform this herculean task, the driver retrieves a set of jumper cables from his truck cab, and connects to the winch. Which, miraculously, began to work. I would not trust this company to haul a pedal car. I deal in cars fairly often and have many other friends and family who do. Whenever I am asked about transport, I now tell them all to avoid Get It Done like the plague. I paid top dollar for bottom dollar service. I don't blame the driver, the woman, or anyone else for this. The real person at fault is Get It Done for hiring a cheap and inexperienced driver so their pay cut could be higher. Ask yourself this- If they were willing to treat my 1958 Imperial, a car rare and hard to replace, like this- how do you think they will treat your car? read more

Just as an added review, this company is so unethical that they removed my review from transport review on the means that I was not a customer. I was a customer, I booked a month in advance, I called incessantly for a week straight with no return call after my car was supposed to be moved. I am sure they have done good jobs but they are not ethical, they will only respond when it serves them. Chose wisely!! read more

I placed an order for my daughters car to be moved from Virginia to Oregon. She has finished her commitment to the United States Navy and was moving back home. The order was placed onMay 17, 2020 and the deposit was deducted from my account on May 19, 2020. The car was supposed to be picked up no later then June 9, 2020 as my daughter was scheduled to fly out of Virginia on June 10, 2020. The car was not picked up and when I text and or called I was either not answered at all or I was told to relax, it will happen. I canceled the order and spoke with David, and he assured me that it wasn't a problem and that he would refund me my deposit. It has been over three weeks since that conversation and I still don't have the deposit money and now they are refusing to answer my calls or texts. I need that money to find other options to get my daughters car home and they are refusing to follow through with me. read more

I called David (the owner) wondering if I could get my vehicle by Saturday and I was told it would be. Saw reviews about how if something goes wrong after your down payment they won't communicate with you about it and that happened, exactly. I received an email stating who my carrier was and when it would be picked up/delivered. So I called the dealership and they said the vehicle was not picked up. So I called David, no answer. Called an hour later, hung up early. Texted/called the "24/7" business number, no answer. So I called the carrier, who was an amazing person, and he said they were called about the job but they never accepted it and was unable. The carrier ended up doing a great deed and made it work after I called him because he knew I needed the car for graduation. He was originally not going to do it. So, the carrier and his wife arranged the pickup and contacted David. My mother had to call him on her phone (a different number so he wouldn't think it was me) and he answered her questions. Car arrived 3 days after I was told it was. If the carrier went above and beyond, I don't know if I'd have my car still. All in all, I got my vehicle at some point, caused a lot of stress, but got it done. Like I've seen on other yelp reviews that have almost the exact same situation as mine, you ENSURE that it's none of your responsibility and 100% the customer's fault. You tell us customers afterwards to leave a review to tell you guys how you did so you know what the customer's experience was and if it's not a 5-star review you try to humiliate the person instead of taking any type of ownership or responsibility. Worst experience of my life! Get it Done was nothing more than a booking company. They quoted me one price and when the vehicle arrived the driver wanted $150.00 more. They threatened to put a lien on the vehicle. Extortion at its finest. The company that picked up the vehicle was A Plus Auto Shippers. I highly recommend you do not do any business with either company. I was led to believe they owned their own trucks but instead they put you up on the internet for shippers to bid on. I did not pay the $150 additional dispite being threatened by A Plus. To top it off the vehicle was not delivered on time and when it arrived it looked like the truck was driven down a gravel road the entire distance. read more

My parents and I were trying to ship my car due to me relocating for the military. They told David when they wanted to get the car to me and he said they could do it. They paid a deposit (April 28) and David said that would be picked up in a couple days after the deposit was given (between April 30-May 1). A week later ('athe car has not been picked up, David won't return any phone calls, and he walked away with the deposit. We were basically scammed. I DO NOT recommend this company. read more

*** UPDATE *** David did nothing to try to make things right as he said he would in his response to this review. I never got any money back from him or any compensation for my extra storage fees. I contacted my bank and filed a dispute on the transaction and they started an investigation. After a few months, the investigation was finally closed, finding that David never tried to return my money as he promised he would and my bank credited the money back to my account for me. *** ORIGINAL *** I tried to use Get It Done Transportation to ship a car that I purchased from Copart. I initially contacted them and spoke with David on January 3 and he was very quick to get everything setup and have me pay the $220 deposit. After the deposit was taken, I was told my car would be picked up no later than January 7 and Delivered on January 8. I didn't want to be a bother, so I didn't ask for any update on the situation until January 7. On January 7, David dodged my calls and texts throughout the day. I contacted Copart directly and they informed me that my car was not picked up that day. Normally I wouldn't be as frustrated with delays on shipping or anything, but Copart charges a storage fee for every day your car is not picked up, so every day was costing me more money. I got a text later in the afternoon on January 7 from David saying "I'll call you in 15 minutes. We had an emergency and have been out of the office." I tried to be understanding and patient, so I waited for a call and explanation and of course never got one. I texted David the next day saying that I never got a call. I gave him a call as well and he answered saying he would call me in half an hour. An hour went by and I still heard nothing, so I texted him again saying I wanted a refund. He eventually responded saying he would refund the deposit and send me an extra $60 towards the storage fees. He said I should receive everything within 2 to 3 business days. I said thank you and found another company that shipped my car very quickly while communicating what was going on with no issues. I had originally asked for this refund on January 8 and I never ended up getting any money back. It is now March 19 and I've been going back and forth with David since January 8 trying to get my money back. David has told me "100% you will have you money back by this day" multiple times, sent me a fake refund confirmation email, told me he overnighted a check to my house, told me there were errors with the bank, and consistently dodged most of my attempts at directly communicating with him aside from responding to text messages every few days. I assume I'm just not going to get my money back at this point, but hopefully my story helps to save some people from getting put in a bad situation similar to mine. I was looking to transport a vehicle I had purchased from a dealer in Dallas Tx to the San Francisco Bay Area. I requested and received many quotes from many companies. I chose Get It Don't Transport because they had mostly good reviews and a quote that was right in the middle of all the quotes I had received. They also guaranteed a 72 hour window for pickup. I contacted Get It Done on Thursday, 3/6 and spoke with David who assured me he would get back to me with driver and truck information that night or on Friday at the latest. I didn't hear from him on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. I called back and left messages on Saturday and Sunday with no reply. On Monday I called back and talked to Kat who had no idea who I was. She took my quote # again and told me that David was out on a family emergency and that he must have forgotten to tell her about me. On Tuesday 3/11 at 1:00PM I received a voicemail from Kat that they had a driver in the area but he had to pick up the car right then. I was at work and the soonest I could call back was at 3:00, by then the driver had already left......I thought that was a little weird and I didn't like that there was no warning. After Tuesday I didn't hear anything from anyone. I called back and left messages on Thursday 3/13, Friday 3/14, and Saturday 3/15 with no reply. On Sunday 3/16 I got a call from the dealer stating that they needed the vehicle to be picked up or they would have to start charging me a storage fee. I subsequently called and e-mailed Get it Done, again with no reply. On Monday 3/17 I contacted another shipping company with a very similar quote and they picked up my car the next day. All the hassle with Get it Done was for nothing. If you look at their replies to negative feedback, they say they transport hundreds of vehicles a month with happy customers....yada yada yada. Somehow they couldn't even manage to return a phone call or e-mail for almost 2 weeks and finding a truck to go from the 6th largest metro area in the country to the 4th largest metro area was apparently an impossibly difficult task. I hadn't heard back from them, so I proceeded to call them in which their System cycled me through to a voicemail each time. When I finally got a hold of somebody it was Ed, and if these are messages from him about the situation. I'm not even sure why it got political, but all I asked was for confirmation of what was going on. Ed was upset with me for calling on a Sunday even though the website says that they are open 8 AM to 5 PM. When I finally did hear back from David he was saying that there was no confirmation, although I do have an email, and had a terrible attitude about it. Poor customer service from both of them, and constantly making excuses. I ended up canceling, and just had to go with another company. As I already spoke with David about canceling, this was Ed's response. As I type right now, Ed is still messaging me after I've already asked him to stop and withdrawn a request for service. read more

The quoted price is competitive, the weird thing is you could get difference quotes depending on the people you interact with. To test this out I actually inquired about the same transport to two different people (through two different online forms) and the second quote was over $130 more. Anyway, reason for the 3 start is mainly due to communication. They were really quick at communicating and getting back to me before I made the deposit, but after the deposit is made I experienced a much delayed response or no response at all. At first I thought it was the Thanksgiving holiday, but after being ignored for 6 days I simply blamed on their professionalism. One other thing I didn't appreciate is how the driver called me an hour before and after the car was picked up and dropped off, which I specifically asked to be told at least a day in advance. Also, keep in mind that this company is also a broker so the bad or good reviews you see here may or may not pertain to them so use your best judgment. read more

I recently moved from Washington state to Georgia.  I paid extra for covered shipping of my car; however, when it arrived, I noticed that it wasn't covered at all.  Layers of mud, sludge and muck all around the car, and my car had 20 extra miles on it then when I dropped it off.  It was also at 3/4 of a tank instead of full like it was when I dropped it off.  I called Get it Done Transportation only to be stalled waiting on what happened with the car.  After I had the car cleaned and detailed out of my own pocket, as it was so dirty I couldn't even see through the windshield, there were numerous paint chips and scratches (the whole reason I paid extra for it to be covered).  Still waiting on a response from Get it Done Transportation to be reimbursed for the $300 extra I spent to have it covered, the cost to fill up the tank, and reimbursement for detailing.  All in all, terrible job making sure this transport when smoothly.  Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

There was communication between the agent, and the driver and myself all the way through. This was the second time I used them and e second pleasant experience. Job well done. If you are looking for a reliable transport company to move your vehicle, do not use Get It Done! We are in the process of moving my elderly father from Washington state to New Mexico. We arranged for his personal belongings to be moved, set up transportation for him and his wife, and thought we had arranged for his car to be shipped to his new home. Things went well until it came time to deal with the vehicle transportation. I started the process two months ahead of time in an attempt to make sure everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, basically everything David Pein said was a lie. The week before the scheduled transport we called David and were assured that everything had been taken care of and was ready for moving the car. We had scheduled a pick up for last Wednesday or Thursday, however, Monday afternoon we received a call from the driver. He said he would be there in an hour to pick up the car and would have the car delivered to us on Friday. We were still using the car and needed it for a couple more days. When we informed the driver that, Monday wasn't a contracted pick up day and that no one would be at the final destination on Friday. He said he'd call his dispatcher and let us know what he said. We never heard from him again. So Thursday afternoon, rolls around and we have not heard from Get It Done or anyone else about a pick up time for the car. So we called David at 1:30, 3:00, 6:30 and sent an email all asking for David to contact us and let us know when the car would be picked up. In spite of the hype in his email "we also offer a 24-7 customer service line where you can speak with a live team member at your request." We did not hear from him until Friday morning. Friday was our travel day, but David said he could get someone there sometime during the day. We told him that if the car wasn't picked up by 11:00, to forget it, no one would be there. So David's company made an already stressful time even worse by failing to keep their word. We are looking for another company and I'm sure will be fighting with him to get the $195 "deposit" charge removed from the credit card. Do NOT use this company, you will regret ever having heard their name.
