Was in the market to get some new nose rings and the local spot I normally go to was closed. I remember hearing great things about this location so I decided to give it a try. I had to come after work so it was later in the evening. There was a lot of guests inside awaiting piercings ahead and only one guy doing everything. I was going out to dinner after so I didn't have as much time as I would normally. The display cases were filled with every piercing that you could think of. Really great selection and I wish I had the time to wait. This will be the spot I go to for my next piercing or when I'm looking to switch up mu style. read more

My daughter wanted her second ear piercing and we came to Get My Point. We came around midday and didn't have to wait too long even though there were three people ahead of us. Once in the room, the guy was nice and super fast. I didn't catch his name unfortunately. Environment was sterile and clean. The girl at the front was also nice, too. Always amazing service here at Get My Point. But most importantly they are experienced, follow sanitation correctly, and have tons of knowledge on all things piercing. This is the best place to go to in OC and where I always recommend others go when they ask me. Got to get pierced by Travis today, which was so great to have him back for a few days visiting from Vegas where he led and works out of primarily now. This was his original shop and he is definitely missed. Got a double nose piercing on my left side. He did both with easy, literally had hardly any pain at all and he is so fast and efficient. A true professional. Quick, easy, and painless (mostly). Haha. The shop is open currently while taking all the covid precautions. It is appointment only, no walk ins for piercings due to covid. That way they can keep the amount of people limited and make sure everyone is safely distanced. Masks are required upon entering the shop, all employees are following covid safety protocol. I was very impressed with how they are operating during this time. My best friend and I made appts here to get our ear pierced bc they have really good reviews & I can attest this is the place to go. For me, I've been wanting to get my cartilage pierced for so long & finally made it happen as a bday treat for myself & to celebrate all my accomplishments in the recent past few weeks. We came on a Sunday, and the door is locked so be sure to knock. Ivan greeted us, took our temps, & spray our hands with sanitizer. The whole process was SO EASY & SUPER SMOOTH! You sign a waiver, choose your earring(s), and he was able to answer any of your questions with genuine care. Never felt rushed or anything. He took us both back at the same time so we could both watch each other get it done, which was nice. He does a great job explaining what he's going to do and makes you feel welcomed & comfortable. Clean sterile work environment too. Not too painful of an experience. Wish my mom had taken me here vs Claire's for my first two piercings bc better quality and much better customer service. You pay at the end, and there's an ATM machine bc payments are in cash only. If you are nice, they can provide discounts if you get more than one piercing like more my best friend! I drove from the Valley to here based on a friend's recommendation, and it did not disappoint! I was waiting until my piercings healed a bit to write a review, but everything seems to be healing beautifully and the jewelry is wonderful! My friend and I both got our nipples pierced by the lovely Ivan, who was quick, professional, and had a phenomenal vibe (I was extremely nervous and he didn't make me embarrassed, and he was super conscious of privacy). They looked a little uneven for a few days and I got freaked out, but I should've had faith in the ever talented Ivan because as soon as the (minor) swelling went down they were perfectly even. The guy who pierces here is wound way to tight! Dude goes off if you remotely inquire about a timeframe for a piercing. The guy is so rude and showed zero compassion for my daughter who needed them to fix the botched piercing we had done here just the day before. I would've expected them to care that we had to come back to get the work fixed but they actually didn't care at all. You're just a number to them. And why so rude!? I think he gets off on being mean and trying to watch you squirm. Gross. This place needs a new piercer desperately. read more

My boyfriend and I came in for his nose piercing. I appreciate the cleanliness and precautions taken because of Covid. This review is a little late, but me, my sister and her boyfriend all went and got piercings April 9th. My sisters boyfriend was a little nervous since it was his first piercing; it was mine too. He and my sister got their cartilage and I got my naval. Our piercer Ivan was so great. Not only was his taste in music stellar, but he was informative, quick, clean, professional, reassuring and super cool when I got lightheaded coming down from the excitement of getting pierced lol. Walked us through the whole process per our respective piercings and used a clamp for mine (super important). Best experience I think we could've possible had- wouldn't have asked to go anywhere else. If I ever want to get another piercing, this is where I'm going no doubt. Can't thank Ivan enough. Love Norm and the staff at Get My Point! I have been a long time customer and would never go anywhere else for my piercing needs. Everyone at the shop is always so welcoming and professional. When I was young I had my ears pierced at Claire's and it was so painful I never wanted to get my ears pierced ever again!! I got awful infections and let my piercings close up. On a whim my mom and I walked in and I wanted to check out the ear piercing prices and I just went for it despite how anxious I was. Eddy was a PRO. deep breath, tiny pinch? Done. I kept saying how impressed I was and Eddy was so kind and a joy to be around. There was almost no pain and my piercings look great!! My niece wanted to get her ear pierced. This place was recommended. Today we all went with her to get it done!!! The place was very clean & sterile!! Ivan was great. He explained the process & procedure. He was very careful to wash his hands throughly. Used gloves. Separate needles for each ear. He measured & marked the ears. Made sure that the placement was symmetrical. Had a mirror to show you the placement of the Pierce, before proceeding. As he conducted the procedure, Ivan explained what he was doing!! It was done in a flash! The cost of both ears pierced was $40.00 which included the choice of your surgerical earring studs!!! CASH ONLY! read more

I really really hate writing negative reviews but this experience has truly been one for the books. I scheduled and appointment online for a lobe repiercing as my previous one had closed up. Upon entering the shop the girl at the front and the piercer were complaining about how many people no show their appointments and were glad I actually showed up.. they even went as far as to tell me how stupid people are for not knowing how to book an appointment through their Instagram page. Admitting that they won't schedule over the phone and refer people to the Instagram and get frustrated when people dm them rather than click the link. I can't even tell you how lazy that is as the square app is incredibly easy to book a client over the phone. The shop was somewhat messy with bags of jewelry spread out on top of their display cases. The guy checked my ear to see what we were doing and said it would be easy and brought me back. I usually go to sacrament body piercing inside Vatican studios where their sanitation procedure almost feels over the top although I'm sure it's standard procedure by the book (but better safe than sorry right) I honestly should have walked out when the guy didn't put the needle or the earring through the autoclave to sanitize them despite having the machine on the counter. When I laid back it felt like he was trying to pierce my ear by wiggling the needle around so I asked if he had pierced it yet and he said oh. Nope just fishing around to see if I can get this dull needle through it without piercing it..... I was there because it needed to be repeirced. Then said he'd have to pierce above my lobe too since that one had also shut. I had to stop him and say no I just want the lobe I never asked for that one to be redone. Obviously that dull thing isn't going to pass through, not to mention it put me through a lot unnecessary pain and discomfort as he tried to force it through. He finally gets around to piercing it and doesn't use any sort of gauze around the ear which lowers the risk of infection but whatever it's done and my ear has been repierced. Later that night as I'm going to bed I feel a clot of dried up blood stuck in my hair and decide to use my phones camera to see what's going on. Shocker. My neck and ear are covered in dried blood. I hadn't bumped it, pulled it or even touched it after I got it done. I have 8 piercings and none of them have ever bled aside from the initial puncture. Safe to say I don't think I'll be returning and now I know it's worth waiting for an appointment with my usual piercer. Fingers crossed this doesn't get infected. read more

To switch it to a silver hoop it is around 20$ and a 14k gold hoop it is around 50$.

Tips on caring for a cartilage piercing that has formed a blood blister?

Use saline wound wash. Use paper towel and soak in saline. Put on ear twice a day till it goes away. Warming up saline in the microwave for around 5 seconds helps a ton too!

How old do you have to be for a nose piercing? and how much does it cost with jewelry?

You have to be 15 with a parent for a nostril piercing. 18 with an ID without a parent. It costs 50$ total and that comes with jewelry.

Do they pierce nose with hoop?

No, you have to start with a stud. Then can get a hoop in like 2-3 months.
