My mom and I stopped by on the 13th this month completely last-minute after joking over lunch about getting matching sunflower tattoos -- and my mom getting her nose pierced like mine. Best spontaneous decision ever! Christian did my mom's nose piercing and was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Honestly, everyone in the shop was so friendly and made us feel taken care of. Went inhere because I was getting a vape next door. Co worker wanted a Friday 13th tattoo, so I said I guess. They had selections on the wall up to $100. Okay, so I wasn't going to say this, but it pisses me off and I think people should be warned. I had my nose pierced Thursday by Christian Crittenden. There is a back story, I had an altercation with another employee of your store right before I entered your shop. I didn't know that the other guy (parking lot) worked there, until I was in the back at his station. I should have left. Nevertheless, Christian pierced my nose. I thought the jewelry was small, you could barely see a sparkle but I was told it was normal. Two days later, I had to go to Sacrament Piercing to have my encased piercing removed. I was told that the part of the nose Christian pierced would have never healed correctly, that the angle was wrong and that the jewelry was way too small creating the jewelry to embed in my skin. I did contact Christian through a Instagram message, where I requested my TIP back... I tipped him well, but he never responded. Piercings are not something to play with. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I'm going to have to lay this one out. True at heart tattoo is really a very subpar, average at best Tatoo shop comparatively to many other others I know of and a number of others I've been to. The senior artist there sitting in their thrones, passing off lower, less valuable work to, less talented artists... Bad move guys, when you do that, less talented artists give really shitty, tattoos. And just a quick reminder, tattoos are on your body forever so when they look really crappy, they look really crappy forever. I think I've said enough on that but will add that I've seen home. Tattoos look better. Lastly, but most certainly not least... Their minimums. I love the five letter, 10 minute, $200 minimum Tatoo. What a joke. Your shop is pretty much empty the great majority of the time, which says something in end of itself, but your minimums are certainly not representative of your skill set. And by the way, your website reflects reviews from 2019. Is that when all of your good artists were there and have since left? Horrible tattoo shop. Completely unwelcoming. It's everything that's wrong with tattoo shops, and all the stereotypical things that people say about them when they feel nervous walking in. This is that shop. read more

Nothing like getting a spooky flash tattoo on Friday the 13th that happened to be in October. My friend and her dad actually invited me to get flash tattoos with them. It's been well over two years so I'm overdue. we arrived to the tattoo shop a little after one and it was busy! All the artist were dressed up and it was impressive! Their atm wasn't available for withdraw but that was very understandable. I went to the 7/11 and got my cash there. After adding our names to the list, we were deciding what flash tattoos we wanted to get. I have a floral tattoo theme but decided to break that today. I was a little nervous to get this tattoo because it was the first time going to a different shop/artist. Once we picked our tattoos, it was time to wait to be called. The three of us were all taken care of by the same artist. His name was Zach and he had a very cool vibe/work space. My friend had the smallest and most simple tattoo so she went first. She got a small witch riding a broom with the number 13 under it. She decided to place it on her leg which looked good with her existing tattoos. It was a total of four minutes to complete that tattoo which looks so cute! Her dad was up next and he wanted to get a swallow tattoo to symbol his time in the military. He originally wanted it on his middle bicep but Zach suggested he lower the location so he can fit a bigger piece there. He probably knocked that one out in 20 minutes. I was last to go and I was now very excited after seeing the amazing quality of work he does. what better tattoo to break the floral theme than a devil flipping you off.
