Makes no sense to charge everyone this "standard" $219 fee. Then the rep tried to convince me that all other moving company had similar fees just hidden in other areas....not true. Loss a potential customer due to greed. If in NWI, I highly recommend Brother's Moving Company was more reasonably priced and customer service is great. They convinced me they were so great and that their work is guaranteed . The job estimate was totally different from what they ended up charging , which was double the price plus they charged a $99.00 deposit which was not applied towards the job . They arrived 1 and 1/2 hours late with the delivery . Customer service is awful and there is no help available . I regret ever hiring them .

They tried to round up to 4 hours (extra $75) and when Steph argued they tried to say they were charging for time used to load the junk they were hauling away. Junk? The guys wanted the stuff! There was a 50" Panasonic Viera TV, 4 lawn chairs, an outdoor construction light, some shelves, and a fireplace heater. All good stuff just nowhere to put it. While Steph was arguing they were made to put all the stuff on the driveway. The guys ended up getting screwed because Steph paid what they wanted and not $1 more for a tip, and they lost their stuff. I will never call this company.

We were closing out our storage unit and had to move about 50 boxes into my Mom's apartment. Andrew quoted me their minimum move at 2 and a half hours. The price was so reasonable - less than a month at the storage facility! Joel and Jose arrived promptly on time after calling me and confirming the details. They moved everything so efficiently, leaving space for my Mom to move around the room with her walker. Really kind, professional and great guys - request them if you can! They did everything in the time I was quoted and did an amazing job! Some of those boxes were large and heavy... I'll use Alamo Movers for all of my future moves if I can! From the point of introducing themselves, to cleanliness, to personalities,etc. etc - my babies. Oh my babies. Was picked up. Wrapped up. Delivered. Without being damaged in anyway. My babies was a 40 gallon octagon fish tank and a 70 inch flat screen tv. So bottom line, how impressed was I? I gave them a $175 tip and told the father ( or grandfather) go and enjoy dinner on me. I was joking with my girlfriend telling her I was getting tired watching them to all the work. I wanted to jump in and help.
