I read the reviews prior to calling and at the conclusion of the job I can honesty say they should have 5 stars instead of 4.8. Nana and the young man working with him were phenomenal. Both were professional, friendly, and very personable. I called them the day before to move my Grandmother and they definitely got the job done. Upon seeing all the things that needed to go from Grandma's one bedroom apart to a studio I was a bit overwhelmed. Nana assured me that it would all be ok; I definitely needed that. Nana helped to arrange things in my Grandmother's apartment to help maximize space. I'm so glad I didn't let the cost keep me from going with them. I hired Executive Loaders through U-Haul to do a U-Box delivery and load. Highly dissatisfied with a lack of communication and poor customer service and attitude throughout the process. Details: COMMUNICATION: U-Haul informed me the company would call me the day before my scheduled delivery date (6/19) to assign a time slot, but did not, so I called them in the afternoon on 6/18. They said to reach back out in the evening, so I texted but received no response. I woke up early the next day with no particular time slot. I reached out once around 11:00 AM but to no response and again at 1:00 PM, when they said they would come in the late afternoon/evening. I had informed them I was flexible with timing during the day and that between 4:00-6:00 PM would be fine. At nearly 7:00 PM, Nana called me to let me know he was half an hour away from the U-Haul location that was supposed to have my box (The following day, I was told by him they did not have it, which if true, is certainly U-Haul's problem, not Executive Loaders'). However, with such a late communication time, there were no options to rectify the situation for the day because U-Haul locations close at 7:00 PM. My items were moved the following morning (6/20). CUSTOMER SERVICE: I sympathize with small businesses and the issues the company has been facing with labor and scheduling. However, moves have limitations for clients, too. Your business model and problems (as I was constantly told that they aren't making money on this move due to hiring an extra laborer to expedite the process and U-Haul's cut) are not my issue or fault. I am extremely lucky that I was able to accommodate the movers changing the time; this goes both ways. I asked to adjust the payment amount (I did not specify an amount) given the fact that services were not provided on the actual day I had signed up for. I was given a laundry list of ways that the company had gone "above and beyond" to make an early morning move possible for me on 6/20. I understand that rescheduling moves and working late hours is frustrating. This still does not rectify the fact that I had paid to receive service on 6/19, not 6/20. The company threatened to unload and leave my items if I did not pay. This left an extremely bad taste in my mouth for the professionalism and lack of respect given by Nana towards me. Them "accommodating" me on 6/20 is the bare minimum when they already had signed up to move my items the previous day. If they wanted to cancel on this move because it was not profitable, that's up to them to have done and communicated, not me. read more

If you're looking for movers who will spend all of their energy getting the job done quickly and efficiently, these are your guys. Some minor issues with getting started on time, but given the pandemic we're in, it was quite understandable. And once we did get the move started, the crew got moving and did a fantastic job. Moved a 3+ bedroom house with 2 loading locations and a separate unloading location with roughly 40 minutes of driving, and they finished under 4 hours. Will definitely use them again. read more

Due to COVID -19, I was not able to go to Chicago to pack up my apartment so I hired this company to pack everything for me without me being there,and ship it out. I went to pick up my boxes today and was so amazed how well they pack everything! Everything was folded neatly and all the boxes were categorized which really goes to show how much care they put into this process. Did a great job helping us with a last minute move and navigating some hiccups with Uhaul... the crew is thorough, considerate, handle your items with care and respect your home as they move items --- I have had movers before who just bang walls, scratch floors, scuff doors, etc but this crew was great. These guys did a great job moving my stuff! They delivered my uhaul and did everything in less than an hour and a half - I was impressed! I was nervous that moving up to an 8th floor with an elevator would be a challenge, but they made it happen!
