At work on New Year's Eve, and my coworkers and I are trying to figure out what we can have delivered to eat. And found Tastes Budz a bake potato restaurant. After looking at it and deciding that it looks good, we have decided to try it. Called to make sure that we could order through GrubHub, was told yes but the male that answered the stated that we could order via GrubHub, but when ordering off their site there were no delivery fees. We originally tried to place the order on Grubhub, but the order was canceled. We called to verify that we could do a delivery and placed the order on the website. When speaking to the same male from the first phone call, he stated that we can order but it was going to take a while because they were very busy. Told him ok, and placed the order. Coworker 1- Doritos nacho potato, Bacon and Cheese regular size. Assuming that they had been really busy they forgot the nacho Doritos, but luckily we had some at the job. She stated that the Doritos Nacho potato was really good, had a good spice amount. Coworker 2- Four Cheese potato with added fried chicken. She said that it was really good. She stated that she would suggest doing a breakfast themed potato. My order- I got the 3 pc baby budz - I tried the seafood, ordered the gumbo but I think I got jambalaya ,and the Bacon and Cheese. I have to say that all three are amazing. I have never been so conflicted. But overly happy with the taste of my potatoes. But let me say that the potatoes that were sent did not seem like baby budz. Food is great but customer service and wait time is terrible ! Texted order and they respond with a pick up time of 4:15pm. Get there and have to wait an additional hour and 20 minutes. Wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience. Will not be ordering for awhile until time management is resolved correctly. We've ordered from them about 3 times and this happens every single time. I understand time gets the best of us sometime but this isn't a good look when it happens consistently. Maybe hire more help or stop accepting texted orders if you can't keep up with the times arranged. My fiancé loves the jerk meals but it's not worth the hassle of the wait time. read more

It's sucks that i have to give this a 3 star bc the food is sooooo amazing but the communication and timing sucks. Even if you order ahead and online you're not going to receive your food until about 2 -3 hours after ordering even though on the website it tells you 60-90min wait with 90 mins being the max. So if you live 30 minutes away in the other side of town give yourself about 2 hours before you go to pick up your food and it still won't be ready. Saw information on Facebook for this take out place and showed the pictures to my daughter. She became OBSESSED with trying their wings and potatoes. We ordered online and arrived at the pickup point (appears to be all take out). You stay in your car and they bring the food to you. We tried 2 flavors of wings and a seafood potato and a bacon and cheese potato. When I tell you that I haven't had wings this good since we moved to Vegas 4 years ago, I am not lying. You could not eat a bite without moaning in ecstacy. I'm sure the neighbors wondered what was going on in our house. The potatoes were huge and equally epic and tasty. The bacon and toppings on my potato were generous and more than I could finish. We are already planning our next trip to sample the salads. This place is hard to find. It's in a strip called "The Market" near Pecos and Las Vegas Blvd. The building almost looks like a storage facility from the outside but you go to door 18 and honk or call them. I would give this zero stars if I could. I usually only write reviews for restaurants with EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. I came here to try their potatoes. 1st. When I first arrived, I found out you can't eat inside (doesn't mention that on the website) 2nd. When I rang the door bell and told the man no one is answering the phone, he told me the owner took it home and hasn't brought it back.. 3rd. I was then told I would have to wait because he just put more potatoes in the oven, I said "that's fine" , but then for 30 minutes later he tells states my order was declined because they don't have enough potatoes. I then placed my order and after being there 1 1/2 hours (in my car) he brought out my order and placed it in my back seat.. Silly me thought after all this time the order has to be right.. boy was I wrong. I got home, I was missing potatoes completely and the others were made wrong. I then drove ALL the way back to the restaurant (20 mins) to fix the issues, but now no one is answering the door bell. They are suppose to close at 8 p.m. and when I arrived it was 7:25 pm. I left 5 messages at the number, where I guess the owner has the phone with no call back. I then looked at my email receipt and discovered I was charged for items I didn't even get.. I guess I'm going to have to dispute the charge now as what they have done is stole my money... This is my first time coming & Trey was very friendly and funny lol & of course the food was very delicious he definitely did his thing with my baked potatoes I ordered two different baked potatoes the seafood loaded baked potato and the philly cheese loaded potato they were were very good! This was the shrimp and crab bud. This place has been coming across my timeline for weeks now. I was so excited to try this place. I live by West Flamingo Rd and Decatur, which is a nice distance!! I was highly disappointed by the product I received. First of all, my food looked NOTHING like what I've been seeing. Second, I ordered when I got there, when I finally received my order, it was not hot, it was barely warm. As you can see from the picture, my cheese was not even melted!!! I had high hopes for this place, instead I wasted money on food and gas for a product that absolutely did not deliver. I ordered at 4:16 pm, I called at 4:49 pm, I was told they were finishing up my order. There's no way my cheese should not have been melted and my food was not hot. I am very disappointed to say the least. One thing I can say, the customer service was great, it would have been nice if the food was great as well. read more

I have been a regular delivery customer of this establishment...well had been. This afternoon I ordered dinner at 345pm to be delivered at 645 pm using the mobile app as I always had. At the end of the delivery order I paid and tipped in advance...AFTER my payment was accepted I was directed to pick up my order at the store at 645pm I immediately called the store and was told I had to pick it up because their delivery driver(s) had quit. I told them I ordered and payed for delivery and if they didn't offer delivery it shouldn't be allowed to be ordered on their app I told them to cancel my order and was then informed it would be 5-7 business days to received refund!!! What? It was no fault of mine and get I am told to wait a week for money I would not have spent with them had I known delivery was not an option. I then asked to speak to the manager or owner and was told they would call when they "came back".... 4 phone calls and 5 hrs later I have received no call and they are now closed. So ,no dinner,they have my money for a week and I can't get a call from management. Customer Service? Ummmm no. No returned call shows me that my business and that of those I know is not important to them so they won't be receiving anymore. This was my first visit the pics on social media was deceiving, I ordered the large philly potatoe and the seafood with the house salad that comes with 3 meats, the pics looked amazing and I was excited to try, the owner told me he was out of chicken for my salad but he would have it by the time I arrived so I ordered the salad, he also told me it would be 45 mins due to they were waiting on potatoes to cook, after an hour and a half I received my order got home no salad had to go back get the salad get home and there's no chicken and they added shrimp, I called the next day and explained my disappointment with the potatoes and salad and was told by the owner, There's nothing I can do I advise this was my first and last time, he said oh well ok, there statement that they strive to satisfy there customers is a lie, the potatoes were under stuffed and under cooked $66 for 2 potatoes, 1 salad and 10 wings and couldn't enjoy any of it....Tasty BUDZ need training on customer service and I don't see them lasting long , I'll never return and pass on the word for no one else to go.....Worst experience ever read more

Terrible. I had been hearing chatter about this place and was so excited to try the food. I placed an order at 4:20pm for delivery, the website gave me an estimated arrival time of 6:20 pm. The order never arrived. After waiting patiently for an extra 30 minutes, I called and was told the driver had an accident and they were trying to get the orders processed. After waiting another hour still no food. They didn't have the common courtesy to reach out to their customer. I called back again and asked for a refund, my order was a little over 48.00 which I paid with my debit. I was told they needed to get authorization from the owner to process the refund and would be given a call back. Two days passed and several calls later I finally get a hold of a person,(they never called me and calls were going to voicemail), who proceeds to tell me they are busy processing orders. He tells me he will try to get my info to process the refund. I tell him I have a receipt , the order number and all the pertinent info he needs to process my refund at the time of the call. Nope he's too busy. Wasn't too busy to take my money!!!!!! Again they take my name and number, but I have yet to hear from them nor have I received my refund!!! 48.00 is not a life savings but it's my hard earned money! Their customer service is below poor and at this point they are basically thieves! Ok soooooo... I called to find out if they were open 1st cause we know how this COVID shenanigans got places closed right now. Was greeted very professionally and was advised to order online as Trenton didn't want me to wait too long. I went online, ordering was easy. I received confirmation email and everything with time of pickup. I arrived about 10mins early which I planned to sit in the car to wait but began calling to make sure I was in the right spot. After a few attempts to reach them I got someone on the line which was also very professional advised where to go and what to do. I pulled up waited, my food took a little longer than the designated time. Which I wasn't tripping about as they were very accommodating for my extended wait time. I received all my food (Chicken faijita bud, seafood bud and the taste Budz original wings) had a loooooooooong drive home. Finally able to sit down and eat and my first taste was THIS SHXT but then it was too much cheese FOR ME... but overall it is pretty good. If you are considering ordering Taste Budz for catering please reconsider. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. I ordered from them last Monday and spoke to the owner D. The reason why I ordered from Taste Budz was because my client wanted me to support a local restaurant. I had no idea what I was in for when I put the order in. I called at 10:46a just to see if they were open and D answered her restaurant line. I told her I would call her back with my clients order which I did at 11:01am for a noon delivery or close to it. She happily took my order and said "if my partner can't do it then I will personally deliver myself". To make a long story short, the food did not arrive until 3pm which means my clients did not take their lunch at noon and I did not get to speak to my client that day regarding my business. I asked for a partial refund when I spoke to her partner that day and he said he would look into it. Later that day, D text me and started to threaten me to not back charge or else she would put in a claim and file a report. She then proceeds to text the rest of the evening harassing me. Her last text message to me was at 10:42pm at night! I woke up to reading that text and I was so upset. I'm not sure why she was the one upset because I still paid full price for a 4 hour late delivery! I stopped responding to her text messages. Today, I had to reach back out to her because she never sent me a receipt. I need my receipt for work expenses. I had to continue to ask for my receipt and the only thing she cared to do was send me messages recapping the incident last Monday. She has a way of making a customer feel belittled and bullied which is how I've felt throughout this entire situation. Finally she sent me a receipt but of course it was not the itemized one. At this point it's not about the refund or the fact that she delivered 4 hours later. It's been about her threatening text messages and bullying. I was willing to settle for an apology about the late delivery but when she went off again today that's when I decided to write this review. If you did not have the people for delivery or if you were in fact closed then why would you happily take my order and promise a noon delivery? Keep the money! I still plan on supporting the local restaurants but this review is to hopefully warn other sales reps to reconsider using them for catering services. I had to block the owner today, and oh yeah, please expect the Better Business Bureau to reach out to you. read more
