A Cajun seafood spot on the Eastside... YES! We've gone a few times and for the price and service we've received, well worth getting your craving fix on. Very spacious interior with booth seating and a few tables.l, great to eat comfortably without bumping elbows. We usually share and food always comes out piping hot and love that they bring out a bag of cut lemons , we've been to other places where we have to ask multiple times for more lemons, that has never been a problem here. This was the most disappointing seafood boil experience we've ever had. We're visiting from Florida and have had our fair share of very good seafood boils there. We came expecting to order through the AYCE menu, however when we asked for it, we were told that at the moment they do not offer that selection. A little disappointed but it worked out in the end as we did not like their food enough to want to eat more of it. We ended up ordering the combo 5 (their most expensive thing on the menu), medium cajun seasoning. It included: 1 LB head on shrimp, 1 whole lobster, 1 LB King Crab, 3 Corn, 3 Potatoes, 6 Pc Sausage . We also added an additional 1/2 LB of snow crab. The total came out to around $141. For the price, the quality and freshness were the lowest we've ever seen. We were deeply disappointed with the freshness of all the seafood. All of the crab stuck to its shell and had shrunk down to a much smaller size (picture of one of our snow crab legs when it was just opened is attached). The way they brought it out was very nice, they placed it on a metal tray and gave us brown paper bowls after we asked for it to eat with as well as forks. Provided a lot of lemons, and scissors to open up the crab and lobster. The server we had was pretty good, she was very nice and came to check on us every once and awhile. She speaks mandarin, which is nice. She is the only reason we are giving them a star in the first place. The bathroom smelt like they had a sewage issue, and unfortunately the door wouldn't close properly in the women's bathroom. Locals seem to enjoy this spot, however it was the worst crab boil we've ever been to. Most were eating crawfish, but we didn't try those. Overall this was a waste of my cholesterol levels and stomach space. It was a huge disappointment as a crab/seafood boil lover. I would not come back here. read more

Last night, I was looking for food on Uber eats and this came up. I was shocked, because it was so close. A new seafood boil spot on this side of town was needed, so I definitely had to place an order. And they have oysters, so I had to go. I eat a lot of oysters, and I know I would eat here a few times a week if their oysters are good They had a special, bogo on the boils. And that was nice not only for the savings, but to try a couple flavors. I got mussels and crawfish, mussels in the house flavor, and the on crawfish Cajun. After I arrived to pick up my order, I ordered half a dozen oysters to eat there and they were perfect, delicious. The place was clean and pretty empty. The woman that took my order was really nice! I ate the rest of my food at home and loved it as well. The house flavor was amaaaaazzzzzing. And the Cajun was great too, but I would of appreciated a lil more spice. How did I not know about this restaurant earlier. We live on this side of town and this hidden gem is located in the Albertson's shopping center. Service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. We had the fresh raw oysters, fried calamari, chicken tenders, and seafood boils with sausage, crab, lobster, and shrimp, and each came with corn and potatoes. They serve beer, which is an added bonus, and much needed after a long day at work lol. They have a cute dining area with big screen televisions showing the game. Going to start off by saying customer service is very good, friendly and are very attentive. Beer fries and sauces for shrimp were good BUT I believe their portions for the shrimp are small or they weigh it with the potato and corn included because I ordered half a pound shrimp no head and only got 10 shrimps. Service was great! Staff is very friendly and seat you right away as it wasn't very full so it was a nice environment. We ordered two pounds of shrimp work the "all in" sauce. I wasn't aware that the sauce had a sweet kick to it as most seafood boil places it's just Cajun and butter. We had to order another pound with the Cajun spice sauce instead of all in because I couldn't get past the sweetness. Overall though, our server was very understanding and never made us feel bad for not liking the first sauce. Not my favorite seafood boil place BUT it's worth a try. Cajun Crackin is located at 5841 E. Charleston Blvd., and Sloan, next to China A Go Go. just south of the Albertson's store. They open at 11:30 to 9:30 Sun - Thrus and 11:30 to 10pm Fri & Sat. The place is new, clean, and the people are friendly. I ordered the Fried Oyster basket with sweet potato fries ($15.95, 10pc), (I was given way more than 10 pieces) and a fountain Diet Coke ($3). The order came out in a timely manner and both fries and oysters were cooked crispy and I would order it again. I have always thought that $3 was a lot for a fountain soda served in a styrofoam cup, even though they were good to refill my drink which had more ice than drink and I requested that 1/2 the ice be poured out when my server refilled my drink. As I stated, the clams and fries were really, really good and I enjoyed my meal. I would definetely recommend giving this place a try and I posted a few pictures of the menu and inside the restaurant. Please remember to tip the server accordingly. read more
