I have done 100+ escape rooms and while on a business trip, I wanted to take my team of 8 out for a team building event. I decided to book Under Pressure for my team at 9:30pm on 07/11. The only great thing about the place was the lobby and the customer service from the game master. The lobby is well maintained and it made me excited for the room. However, the room had multiple issues. The largest issue was that the AC did not work at all. This ruined the experience because we had to have the main entry door open the entire time so that way some fresh air would come in. Even with this solution, one of us were completely disengaged due to the heat, and everyone else was highly uncomfortable. Not having AC in the summer when it is 106 degrees outside is just no acceptable. Beyond the AC issues, the escape room itself was middle of the road at best. There was no flow and the puzzles were incoherent. One of the locks was left unlocked so we did not solve one of the puzzles. The room was overall cheaply made. For example, they use wall paper on a standard door to make it look like a submarine door, whereas other escape room company's would design a door that looks and feels like a submarine door. There were also 2 other cheap locks on one cabinet that one person easily guessed the combination to. Overall, I would not bring my team back to this escape room company. read more

This is my second time trying to go to this escape room. They have an excuse every time we try to go. The first time we couldn't book past 9. So they told us to come next time before 8. This time we come before 8 they told us that we can't book bc there system is down. And we have to book a hour before. Regardless on there website it would Let me book right there and then so why we couldn't book in store makes no sense. Mind you there has never been someone in the front the two times we have came we always have to wait a while for someone to come out the back. Just heard about these earlier in the year, was at Pins n Ales playing some fun games and saw this place tucked off in the corner and had to check it out. Once it was explained to me how it all worked made reservations for the following week for 2 different Escape Games - The Antidote and Th3 C0D3 These really challenge you and push the envelope. Need serious teamwork as so many clues to throw you off and some to pay attention to. Going to do the other 2 to see how they compare. read more

This was so fun & very challenging! We want to go back and try the other rooms. We did the murder mansion which was very well done.

Natty/Natasha is a terrible hostess and game master. If you enjoy having the stage set by a rude greeter who uses up all of your actual, very small hour, to instead lecture you about being there immediately on time (3 minutes late) and that both the late time and her lecture time (and additional time spent to finalize payment in person) would all be detracted from your game time, then this is the escape room for you! By the way, none of that is mentioned on their website during the booking process, in the confirmation email, or when you call in. She seemed to be in a bad mood right from the get go, and so I guess she decided to just make up whatever rules she wanted. Put a horrible spin on the whole experience, and the entire game was skewed negatively by the negative start. Won't be back. read more

This was our second time going and our first time was October 9th. We really enjoyed both times Natty (Natasha) was our game master and I really enjoyed her humor and willingness to answer questions. She made it very easy and even remembered us! Granted we went back so close together we just had a really good time. I really like how she offers to take pictures on your personal phone as well since the ones on their iPads don't come out great once emailed to you. We started with the Murder Mansion, which if it's your first time I do not recommend as we didn't pass and even had one more room to get into. The second time we did the Antidote and we got out which was extremely satisfying! We did have to use all three of our clues to get out but that's okay it was just the two of us working on these. We will definitely be back, just hope there's a good coupon code next time so it's a little cheaper haha! read more

It's a pretty good place. The rooms require thinking and teamwork skills, but we had a horrible experience on our entrance. The place was quiet and lifeless when we walked in. We arrive just two minutes late and apologize. The employee behind the desk gives us a lifeless stare and tells us, "Well, we'll have to penalize you three minutes." The employee, named Jayden, then proceeded to respond to every question snappily and rudely. When we finally got to the room, his new coworker introduced us to the rules with smiles and a wonderful personality. Hardly never have I seen a subordinate more experienced than their superior. It was pretty expensive for a large group, but worth it for the experience. I think they'd get more business if they sorted out their employees. read more

Our family had so much fun! The rooms are challenging but appropriate for teens to be able to solve. We lost but were a few solved puzzles away! We had excellent customer service and had a phenomenal time. We even were able to bring our baby in a stroller to the room. Honestly we had a great time! I have done about 10 escape rooms, and Under Pressure was definitely one of my favorites. It was number heavy so if thats not your style I wouldn't recommend it to you, but it also had fun physical components and atmosphere. Next time I'm in town I would definitely be interested in trying the other rooms. Also, the price was great (I consider $30 standard, less is a good deal, and above 35 is getting expensive). Staff friendly and helpful, and therr are other activities in the building if you have more time to fill. read more

We were wondering what to do with a bunch of bored "tweens," and came upon this escape room. We hadn't been to one before, and the kids haven't been able to stop talking about it. Our group went in this evening to do the Murder Mansion room. The lobby is set up nicely but our first impression began right away with the desk worker, Shelby. She was extremely young and lacked the professionalism you would expect. She began our experience by talking about how long she had been working. She also hinted towards us tipping her multiple times at both the beginning and the end of our escape room. I have never been asked or expected to tip at an escape room. My husband and I have completed over 20 escape rooms across the country (and have gotten out of all of them), including several custom built rooms that are rated as some of the hardest in the country. The room itself did have good puzzles compared to some of the other rooms we've done, however there were a few things that would help enhance the room: 1. The clues were not helpful. All three times we received a hint that we had already figured out, followed later on by a hint that actually helped us. This leads me to believe that the hints were preset and not customized by the game master to our point in the game. We wasted several minutes waiting for hints that were actually helpful. The game master should be watching the room and there should not be a delay in hints that are actually customized to help. (Shelby also told us that our hint may take a while until the game master realizes we needed one ... why is the game master not watching our room? Are they running multiple rooms? Or are they young as well and not paying attention as they should?) 2. In all the escape rooms we've done I have never had a code lock you out for 5 minutes. Understandably you do not want people entering random numbers over and over again, however, the game master should have been able to see we had the code. We needed to wait 5 minutes until we could enter the code, obviously wasting precious time. As mentioned previously, the worst part of the room was the numerous eluding to "tips", even going as far as waiting to open the door to see if we would tip her. Very strange and unprofessional. She is young, but I would recommend training your employees to maintain a higher level of professionalism. I would recommend addressing these points of the room and the staff to make the experience more enjoyable for all who choose to pay a large amount of money to participate in this activity. Not to mention this is one of the most expensive escape rooms we have done. read more

Had a great time in the Antidote room. We beat the room with 24m to spare. We did it so fast we ended up doing a second room (The Murder Mansion), really cool looking room, however this room had three things that had really bad clues. (1) The organ sheet music clue is just poorly done, (2) counting the swords individually is just dumb (they should change the 6 to a 3), and (3) there should be a better clue for the house names panel. Maybe add a plaque on it that says "A Part Of Me Leaves, Only To Turn And Return". I feel like if they fixed those three clues it would be a great escape room. read more

The Code: Heat was cranked up!! Room was super basic with no wow factors. Definitely not worth 30. My team blew through the room with no problem. Puzzles lacked imagination. Staff was not interactive. Please pass on this room. It might ruin escape rooms for you. Their lobby was the best part so much awesome Steam Punk decorations and yet no Steam Punk Rooms! So don't get your expectations up from seeing the lobby. read more

We enjoyed our time here, but was not all that impressed with the customer service. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. I'm not sure who appeared first, but there was a young man and young woman working. The young man seemed manic in his explanation of things and the young lady was complaining to him about other customers. As the young man walked us to our escape room, he was also complaining about their day. He took us in the room and gave us the rundown. Once the game started all went well. However, on our last lock we had just attempted to try it when the game master walked in to help us. It seemed to me that she must have been a game master for more than one game and just assumed we needed help since this particular lock must have problems (why not replace it if it is a regular problem?). Having to have someone come in during the midst of a game really ruins the experience. This was pretty much the last thing we had to do so we were able to "escape". Overall, we had a good time, but the customer service was lacking. read more
