Very sad how customer service is so bad toward your neighbors and their pets. I won't take my pups here and the reviews are very telling.

I was very upset with the groomer. I have a small dog. She was perking her around by the tail and grabbed her around by the neck yelling at her. My dog was excited to see me and was obviously excited. If she treated my dog like that when i was there how was she treated when i wasnt there . I have been taking my border collie to them for five years. She is a farm dog and has had a very rough life. She cannot see well, cannot hear well, and has only one tooth remaining. She's not very friendly with other dogs and I'm always nervous to take her to get groomed. They have always made me feel so welcome and like my dog is a queen. I take my border collie in twice a year. In the summer to get shaved and they do such an outstanding job. And I take her in the fall to get trimmed up and a bath and she comes back looking 10 years younger! I appreciate these ladies and all their hard work. read more

I am just so tired of the poor customer service everywhere I go these days. This place was just the straw that broke the camel's back! I called to say that I needed an appointment to get my 15-year-old beagle nails trimmed and a bath. They said they could fit me in at 11:30 today, even though I wanted a later appointment. I said I can make it work and got there at 11:30. They then went on to tell me that it would be about 3 to 4 hours for the bath and nail trimming. I was not aware of this nor did they tell me when I made the appointment. I did not have that kind of time to spend with my two littles in tow. I told her I'd have to call my husband to see if he could pick the dog up and she said that she could make it to an hour and a half if need be. I said that I could make that work and left our dog. Over 2 hours later they were finally done. They had the audacity to tell me next time I rush them it would be an extra $30 charge! What happened to customer service! Even if it was going to take longer if they would have just apologized for the misunderstanding, I might have understood or have been honest about the fact that it was not going to take an hour and a half I could have called my husband like I was going to. They charged me a total of $50 that included $10 for extra brushing. I had told them to leave that part out if it was going to help the time not be so long. When I had booked the appointment they told me the extra brushing would take a little longer that's why it was more money but then when I told them not to worry about it since I was in a time crunch they said oh it doesn't really take any longer. When I told them I wish they would have told me how long it would take they said well you should have asked. I said well that's not very good customer service next time maybe you should let me know. She said well you just should have asked next time we're going to charge you $30 if you rush us. I said well there will be no next time I don't plan on ever coming back. She said well you hadn't been here in 2 years anyway we don't want you to come back. I am just appalled that the customer service is so bad. I had just told a friend how nice they were last time I was there and that is why I was using them. Like the lady pointed out though it had been a couple years since I've gone to them. Mainly because of covid and my dog doesn't need much grooming I only go about twice a year. All that to say I will never go back there. I can't stand how rude people are these days. Not looking in people's eyes not being considerate of others. I do have to say I called double c, and they would have only charged me $37. Plus they had a nice place for my dog to play and rest instead of a small little cage to be held in while he dried. They also apologize and said that it would be a longer than normal wait about 3 to 4 hours because of how busy they were. I didn't have to ask they just told me! read more

Avoid. There are better grooming salons to pick from. Dog will come out full of hair, not rewashed after cut like other groomers do. Truck was full of hair after picking up dog. Weird disinfectant smell that stays for days. read more

I have previously loved it here. I tried again a week or so ago to shave her myself, but that didn't go well and I very slightly nicked two nipples. Last week, I took my cat Bumpers in for a "lion cut" shave. They were slammed, although I had an appointment. I offered to come another day when they're not so busy, but they said they were very busy every day. When I got Bumpers home, I first noticed the cut was not very good, ruff very uneven. Then she started scratching the furry parts around her neck. Two additional nipples had been nicked, one still bloody (my nicks did not draw blood). Next day, the diarrhea started. Now, I have to see if I can figure out if she acquired fleas. Later I noticed the skin was peeled off of an small area adjacent to her anus. I don't know if this is because they were jammed and rushing everything, maybe putting animals close enough together to spread diseases or she ate something there. I just don't understand how it could go from 5 stars to 1 star. UPDATE: Vet does not see evidence of fleas. Believes it is allergic reaction to something, perhaps the shampoo or other product that may have been used on her. She received a cortisone shot. So, that cost me more money. read more

If I could give a negative in stars I would they shouldn't even get 1 star! They butchered my fur baby. It was her first grooming- I explained to the lady that I bathe her and comb her at home regularly but I needed a professional to do around the eyes- her hair was a bit long for summer and we talked about cutting it down just a bit but keeping her fluffy still they said a couple hours I dropped her off at 9am and called at 1pm to check on her because I hadn't heard from them- they made me feel like they didn't even know she was there they took forever to even confirm her name- then I heard them say she was barley getting a bath and then two ahead of her for her cut. Ok, that's fine-3:45 I get a text saying she's ready THEY BUTCHERED her. Her hair is all gone, they didn't even call me to say they recommended shorter or ask my permission. The groomer tried to tell me when I said why is her hair so short that "oh yea when I bathed her she had a few matte parts under her legs and arms!! I brushed her out before hand and we BOTH ran our fingers through her hair at drop off. I'm livid, yes hair will grow back but I definitely do not recommend you taking your fluffy fur babies here. Even the frame of her face is botched and crooked cuts all around it. read more

I moved to Klamath a yr ago. I took my bearded collie to Gette A Groom a total of 3 times. Each time I picked him up he was bleeding from somewhere. They even cut his tongue. He is now traumatized and is terrified to go to a groomer. They even yelled at me in front of other customers saying I was neglecting my dog because I couldn't afford to take him there every month. They are rude people. I have found an amazing place that is going to slowly work with my dog and help him to enjoy going to the groomers again. read more

My 10month old pup Annie is very nervous getting groomed and struggles staying still. Many groomers get easily frustrated and have called us early to pick her up and she comes back looking the same without a decent cut or nail trim. Worst dog grooming experience ever. Upon walking in they weren't very friendly and I asked when he should be picked up. They told me a couple of hours. I had my appointment at 9 am and called at 11 to check on the status of my dog. They had informed me that he wouldn't be done until AT LEAST 2 o'clock. I had asked when I dropped him off how long it would take. I have always in the past wanted to know a time to pick him up like everyone else. If I would have known it would be 5 hours I wouldnt have even bothered. Long story short I couldn't wait 5 hours and I don't feel comfortable leaving my dog with strangers for that long anyways especially when they just throw them in a kennel in the back. I then asked if I could just come pick him up and pay for a wash and they informed me I would be charged a full $85. Never in my life have I been promoted so quickly to dissatisfaction of a customer. I was willing to pay for even a wash and come pick him up, but in no way was it reasonable to have him for 5+ hours. Long story short this has been the worst grooming service experience ever. I had an 11 o'clock appointment for my Pomeranian to have a full-service wash and cut. When I dropped him off I was informed that he would not be ready until 3 or 4. Ridiculous to need 4 to 5 hours unless you have overbooked. I should have just left then. At 4 o'clock I called to check on my dog as they had still not called me. I was informed that he had been bathed but was still waiting for the cut, which of course would have taken at least another hour or more. I was trying to stay out of bitch mode and just suck it up since I had already wasted most of my day waiting for my dog. I asked when he would be ready and was told that they didn't know and that I would just have to wait till I was called. At 4:40 I was over it. I went in to check on my dog and asked if he had been started yet. There were three groomers working on three large dogs. Of course he hadn't been started yet. I told them I wanted my dog. I was then charged a "reduced" fee of $38.50 for bathing for my 14 pound dog. Very unprofessional from start to finish. I lost an entire day of work waiting for my dog, my dog was crated for almost 6 hours, he still needs a haircut and I was charged $38.50 just for a bath. The most ridiculous experience with a " professional" grooming service ever. read more

I will never take my animal here again. Firstly, the workers are dishonest with their prices. I originally called this establishment to confirm their prices, in which the owner herself confirmed to me that a wash and sanitary cut would "cost me around 5-10 dollars." Although I was surprised, I happily took my dog there and I spent 3 and a half hours waiting, when I called to check on my dog's process I was informed that my dog had not even been dried yet. These groomers leave the dogs in kennels apparently to dry instead of doing it themselves, which I was told by yet another unhappy customer. I decided to just pay for a bath and take my business elsewhere. When I arrived the staff were extremely rude and claimed that because I was in a "rush" they will not have time to brush, dry, or cut my dog's hair, along with lying and charging me $60. After waiting another 30 minutes, a staff member walked my dog outside and refused to give her to me until she spoke to me, although I had already paid. I truly can't make this up when I tell you that this staff member called me inappropriate names like "cunt", "bitch", "ugly" and more. After getting into my vehicle this staff member continued to stand outside, yell, and acted like she wanted to fight. The owner of this business was watching through a window as her staff member harassed a customer. This is truly the most unprofessional and disrespectful business I have ever come across. The lack of respect for the customer is astonishing, never take your animal here. read more
