This place is awesome because I never have to wait long. There's plenty of locations. I've been to three different locations. The one on central near baseline, one in west Phoenix (might update with crossroads) & the one on Country Club in Mesa. All were great! I went for registration renewal once & the other times were for my son to get his driving permit. He paid a fee and has a year to pass and can test as many times as he needs (once a day). So glad we don't have to wait a million years at the MVD! read more

This place is a joke. Twice I went there and was told 2 different times I needed new paperwork (which I had, but they said I needed a new one, idk why). So I left and went EZ title in tempe. Gave them the exact same paperwork, got everything done in less than 10 minutes. The people who work at gg&d are incompetent idiots. I would give them minus 5 stars if I could. I came in on a Monday afternoon in mid-August to get a drivers license (had just moved out of state) and update my vehicle registration. Due to COVID, there was a line outside as they were limiting people in the building. Once inside, chairs were positioned six feet apart. (Win!) I felt the service was a bit odd. My number was called quickly for the initial part of the license process (form, picture) but then it took a long time to be called again. I was very glad the lady I worked with had great customer service and was friendly. She helped me with both my license and registration and even waited for me to email a form for verification of lien instead of having to go home and come back. Definitely better service than the DMV! Only downside was that it still took about 2.5 hours. The person helping me said they tend to be busy at the middle and end of the month. read more

Really not sure why all the bad reviews. I was nervous before coming in because the person who gave me my title had used commas and decimals which is incorrect in AZ - I also have a vintage vehicle and it's exempted from emissions but many people don't know that and still give you a hard time when registering a vintage car. I entered the building, took a ticket, and was called at the same time. From start to finish - done in 15 minutes and they fixed the title issue. They even helped with custom plate questions. Amazing. Would totally go back year after year! read more

I hate that place. They are rude and don't know what they're doing. I went there 3 times already and each time they told me something new to bring. They could have told me all at once. I wish the actual DMV would take walk ins because I'd rather go there and wait online for hours then deal with the incompetency and rudeness. read more

Awful. Mistake after mistake. These people are incompetent morons. Julie assisted me and took a bunch on unnecessary information and a fresh photo, by mistake? Totally unacceptable. I wouldn't trust them handling your personal information safely either. Go the the regular dmv it's a lot cheaper, using this service will cost you, time & lots of money from fixing their mistakes. You'll have to go to the regular DMV anyway to have their screwups corrected, so save yourself the trip! read more

The real state MVD is a mile away, and doesn't have the ridiculous service charges. The only reason to go here is for extended hours (especially weekends) beyond what the real MVD provides. Every time I've gone here I've received incorrect advice on inspections, and have wasted hours of time and a bunch of money on unnecessary inspections and service charges. read more

Here is an update, I finally got a call today from one of the supervisors saying they found my ssn and I could come for it. (This only happened because I threw a fit yesterday, and they had to check the camera to see if they actually had it) My question was, why didn't they call me right away when you noticed you had my ssn?? The lady on the phone said it was in a "really really secure safe that's why they couldnt find it." ...uum so now there are two safes..the 1st one that you said 2-calls back that you already checked, now there is this "really really secure safe"? Even after getting there, the women were still confused, and unorganized. The window I was asked to go to (accountant's), was playing with her calculator with her Instagram open and there was a line waiting. read more

We went to location on Bell Road. I was expecting the sort of service and environment I experienced at L&J 3rd Party DMV services in Scottsdale (5 Stars). Not even close. The business feels dirty and old. They only had one window running when they opened. They do not consider a passport with a driver's permit as photo ID for citizenship/residency nor do they accept paperless bills as proof of address. Wasted over an hour. If I need 3rd Party DMV services I will only go to L&J. read more

Let's be honest, it's the DMV. It's going to be busy but Compared to other 3rd party dmv service this is by far the fastest one! I had to register a new vehicle and renew my diverse license. I was out of there in 30 minutes! The prices are expensive but for how fast you can get things done it's worth the extra $ they are also very clean and I've seen employees coming out to clean and make sure everyone's social distancing. Some of the workers are kinda rude but I would be the same way if I had to deal with difficult customers. I'll definitely come back. read more

Omg what a relief this place was. Five stars. Heard COVID nightmares for MVD stuff right now but this place was easy. Big place, lots of service windows, pull a number take a seat anywhere and they have the over head display who's next and what window. I could see right away about how many people ahead of me. There were a few other different kind of numbers so don't freak if you come here and that happens. but it was fast anyway. Parking lot was full but didn't feel like it inside. It was noon and I thought it would be terrible but it wasn't. I sat maybe five minutes and they served at least 10 in front of me. Lady at Window 6 was awesome, fast and DONE. I'm headed to lunch. Sweet. Thanks will come back here again for sure. I did not see any of the attitudes or cross talk other people posted. read more

My name is Frank I'm the owner of maximum towing I figured it was finally time to leave a review for this and particular GG&D. Every time I go most of the time it is for abandoned vehicle inspections as I get a lot of vehicles people do not claim shuttle companies need to take it to be inspected as part of the process. But it is in particular third-party MVD every time when I get to the window the girls dread having to go outside and do the inspections they find any excuse not to do it they will go through all of the reasons on why I can't get an inspection done before they actually say OK yeah we will do the inspection. For some reason today I chose to give them another chance after many times of giving me trouble. And of course I left kicking myself in the butt. I took a vehicle for inspection and the van was very clear on the dashboard but because of the sticker in the door jam was scratched they failed my vehicle for inspection which now I have to go do a level to inspection. Even though all the vans match everywhere else because that sticker was scratched in certain areas they filled the car and when I was asking for information and reasons they allLooked at each other nobody can give me answers they've had to talk to each other they don't know if they're doing it seems like a lot of those girls there are not trained properly. I highly recommend to find a third party MVD it's even better just go to a regular MVD the wait time is way better than having to deal with these girls really don't know what they're doing. The convenience fee is not worth it at this particular location. read more

If you can avoid this place please do at all costs!!! My boyfriend and I went for two different issues, I was trying to get my license reinstated on a weekend, and he was trying to get tags for a new vehicle we got from out of state. They told him it would cost over $1000 to get his car registered because we had to pay taxes from the other state when we paid those taxes when we purchased the car. So he went else where the following Monday and only ended up paying $200. They also didn't give back his ID, so he called right away and asked they had us on hold forever and kept saying they were looking mind you we went first thing Saturday morning there literally was only 3 windows open, I don't know how hard it is to ask if anyone had it. After he basically yelled at them that it was illegal to drive without it and they are holding it they finally "found" it. Now to my issue, they immediately tried to dismiss my when I didn't even tell them my issue, I had to get an SR22 to get it and when I showed her I had everything she gave me a sigh and then told me I couldn't get it reinstated because of an old car and would pay $500 fee but couldn't pay it because it wasn't "posted" so I took it as a loss and just decided to wait, I went to the the DMV on the next business day and they didn't even mention the old car I even asked about it and they said they didn't see anything. So don't go here! I don't think they really are there to help they just want to dismiss you. read more
