I am no plumber, but these folks are, and they were gracious with their time, and explained it all, and provide options, pros vs cons, best practices, and did not once pressure me to make a decision. Mark, Eddy, and Mike did a superb job. They had no bias, and gave me all the facts and options to make my own decision. At the end of the day, I feel like I can trust them. Real pros. Arrived when they said they would, did what they promise and even more. Fantastic experience. If you want a plumber you can trust.. look no further.

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

I genuinely enjoyed and appreciated his support throughout the entire process. I originally contacted another company with higher online ratings, but they couldn't get anyone out the same day. I decided to give Plumb Doc a shot despite their slightly lower rating--and I'm really glad I did. The service I received was absolutely 5-star level. Brian came out quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue: a pin-sized hole in one of the PVC pipes underground in our front yard that feeds the house. We had noticed water running down the driveway and weren't sure if it was just runoff from recent rain or a broken pipe, especially since temperatures had been below freezing. Brian confirmed it was a leak by shutting off the water to the house and checking the meter--we were still using water. From there, Brian walked me through multiple options, ranging from a full pipe replacement to a targeted repair. I was dealing with family health issues at the time and needed the fastest, least disruptive solution so I could focus on being at the hospital. Brian really stepped up. He suggested bringing in a leak-detection specialist using sonar equipment to pinpoint the exact location. It added a few hundred dollars upfront but would save time, money, and yard damage in the long run. We went with that option, and it worked exactly as promised. That evening, a gas technician came out to mark the gas lines, the leak-detection team arrived the next morning, and Brian dug a very small area and replaced the damaged pipe on day two. He even worked past dark to finish the job. Plumb Doc handled everything--all scheduling, coordination, and follow-through. Brian personally made sure every vendor piece was handled correctly. A few days later, after the clay had settled, Brian came back to fill in the hole--even though we had already paid. He even offered to buy a bag of mulch to cover the area, which we declined since we planned to re-mulch anyway. The leak is fully fixed, no more water loss, and the price was completely reasonable. Throughout the process, Brian kept me informed via text, sent photos, and made sure I always knew what was happening. Beyond the technical skill, he's just a genuinely good guy--someone you'd grab a beer with. Too often, you talk to a company owner and then get sent a low-quality crew. That did not happen here. I couldn't be happier with the service and would absolutely recommend Plumb Doc to friends and family. A lot of people give 5 stars for just expected service, so I want to make it clear that this job exceeded my expectations and truly earned their 5 stars.

I called our home warranty company and they contacted Tru Flo out to repair the problem. We could have not received any better service than what we received from Gary and William. After they arrived they snaked out the line and ran a camera through the line and that's when it began to get very strange. While utilizing the camera they determined that we had a septic tank system. This normally would not be any concern but here is where we got a huge surprise. We purchased the house 3 years ago and was told that the house was on county (Fulton) sewer system. We have been paying charges for the sewer service for 3 years so this was a huge surprise. The prior owner had also payed for the sewer charges for over 14 years. The system had not been maintained for over 17 years that we could determine and was completely destroyed and now required replacement costing over 10,000.00 according to the service that we called out to pump out the tank. Gary and William said they could run a line and tap into the county sewer as we thought we were for a very fair and resonable fee considerably less than total replacement of a septic tank system. They worked tirelessly through terential rains to get us back up and running. All I can say is that even though we had the nightmare holiday that we all fear, we were very lucky to have Tru Flo come to our rescue! So let me take this opportunity to thank Tru Flo, Gary and William, for the over and above service and we will always be grateful for your help with a very difficult situation.

Gary falsely claimed that he could perform minor electrical work associated with moving a washer and dryer at my home in Marietta between January 25-27, 2023. Gary collected $2000 for the work and was called back multiple times after I had a separate appliance repairman evaluate why the appliances would not work. Gary blamed the appliances' age and refused to accept responsibility. After Gary left following the second callback, my handyman was seriously shocked when routing the dryer vent past the electrical conduit that Gary installed. Gary returned the following day and subsequently blamed the dryer for being "hot" and claimed that all of his work was fine. At that point it was obvious he refused to take responsibility and I called Mr. Sparky electric for an electrician who came out same day. That electrician evaluated Gary's work, and recorded videos explaining the various dangerous errors that Gary made, not the least of which was improperly wiring the socket Such that it was not grounded and therefore caused the dryer to be charged and injure the handyman. The electrician charged over $1500 to repair the dangerous fire and electrocution hazard. I contacted Gary and asked him to pay me back to cover the corrective work, with the videos as proof, and his response to me was that I had hired the "most expensive commissioned electrician in town" and he refused to refund me. Gary stated that I should have "given him a chance to repair the work according to the electrician's instructions," however I had already given him three chances that resulted in an injury and an active electrocution hazard. In further conversations, Gary in turn denied that his work was incorrect and stated that the electrician was lying. Obviously, that Handyman did not fake his electrocution, and videos by the certified electrician prove this to be false. Subsequently, Gary agreed to pay bac $1000 in 2 payments, the first of which was to have been made by Friday 2/3/23. At this point, Gary is choosing to ignore my request and he leaves me no choice but to exercise all available means to recover the funds, including filing complaints with the various consumer protection agencies, trade boards and small claims court. I have been very patient, and I offered him time to make payments, but he chooses instead to ignore me and steal from me after lying and endangering me. This is not the behavior of a man with integrity. Gary McCord endangered, me, my home, my neighborhood, my family, guests, and in fact his negligence caused injury to my handyman. Consider carefully.
