We…read morecame here for a girl's weekend and although a bit pricey compared to nearby accommodations; we figured it was worth it to be so close to the downtown area. We were absolutely CORRECT. The Lambertville Station is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway or a girls' weekend thanks to their lovely rooms and extremely comfy beds. We were given a room on the first floor with the most perfect view of the river and part of Lambertville, and I almost forgot that this was the middle of my winter depression season. The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. I highly recommend doing a few vineyards after checking in, but if you don't want to go far, Tomasello's has tastings and so does the Food Hall on the side of New Hope (which is walking distance). We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra. Overall, I thought it was a lovely stay, we stayed in the Cape May room (I also like that each room has a name) and enjoyed the dark and creepy old vibes from the hotel. It truly made you feel like a part of the historic area.

Dirty wine glasses were not replaced in the bedroom by housekeeping. The complimentary breakfast consisted of overly sweet, unhealthy, cheap premade pastries. The safe was broken in our bedroom. The elevator also broke during our stay. There were no bikes available to rent as we were told they were in poor condition and not rideable. Then, we were advised by the front desk to go to a bike shop nearby, however that store ended up being closed for the day. We were told the manager would call us regarding a partial refund due to the terrible stay we endured. However, no attempt was made to contact us. She was not at the hotel all weekend and finally mid-week was reachable after calling the hotel for a 3rd time. She told us she would make a request to Hotels.com for a refund but when I contacted Hotels.com 2+ weeks later, I was told no request for a refund was found. I could have never dreamt of a more terrible stay at a hotel.

It was very crowded for a dinner with a client. We were 50/50 client and my company, space would have been welcomed. The appetizers were good: calamari, oysters, ahi tacos. I had a filet for dinner, and while a nice cut steak, it was more medium than medium rare. It was still delicious, don't get me wrong! The strawberry shortcake trifle was outstanding. Nice selection of wine and bourbons, plus cocktails for those who partake. The only issue aside from the lack of space was with the service, honestly. It felt almost, combative. Our server was not overly kind, or forthcoming with recommendations. I know a business group of 13 can be a lot, but the job is to smile and handle it. I was relieved they sent over someone to help prebus and fill water, because it was getting behind. Overall, I would return again, maybe with a smaller group, maybe insisting on the larger space? Apologies for the lack of pictures, they're hard to get when I'm with a client. The wine in the photo was delicious, and I highly recommend it!

Clams casino were mostly bread crumbs, only warm and tasteless. My veal was as chewy as bubblegum. I had difficulty cutting it. My friend who is a restaurant contier spoke to the manager and she kindly removed some of the items on the bill. The server then went into our leftover bag and removed the plastic container that held my veal which I was taking home to my dog, sneakily and without our permission. No one in our party was aware she did this except me. I was shocked. This is a tourist trap and I would not recommend this highly priced facility as a place for dining. Stay away! Definitely not worth the price. My recommendation- hire a professional chef. Two stars for the ambiance.

Spent a birthday evening here, well, we tried to. Sat at 7:10pm on a Friday. Place was busy. Hostess was kind and friendly. Poured us some water. And then...that was it. An extremely flustered waiter ran by us several times, not even touching the table to say they would be with us. Hostess tried to calm the waiter down one time when he was speeding by to drop a check on an adjacent table. It took forty minutes, and I am not in the least exaggerating before he came back to us by way of us finally having enough and flagging him down as he rushed by as though there was a fire to put out in the kitchen, and so we said we would like to order drinks at least. He stopped and got out his pad and we requested that we also put in food since by this time it was almost 8pm and he replied curtly and without hesitation, "I don't have time for that!" And ran off. Not only did we waste an incredible amount of time here just to leave hungry and without even a drink, but when I called to complain to the manager, hoping someone had the good sense to explain this waiter's behavior, I was met with excuses that they had only two servers and 14 tables between them. Needless to say, consider this review. I booked a table here due to all the positive responses but unless we were the exception, it might happen to your table, as well.
