Sucks ! Lady that handed out the tickets were rude and also the lady that did the tour was not very detailing and short didn't let us take pictures....also at the end was short and was like good bye no smooth ending. It was weird ....I don't recommend it waste of money

Great way to spend an evening in St Augustine! We tried to get a 9:30 pm tour but it was sold out. There was a cancellation for the 8pm tour so we took it. These tours are very popular. Met our guide at the old schoolhouse. Morgan was our tour guide and she was spectacular! The tour was historic and a little spooky. Several people in our group had ghostly images they captured during our tour. The tour spanned several historic sites within an easy walkable area. Morgan was a great storyteller and made the tour very interesting. 25.00 per person and well worth it. Will definitely be doing again.

Tour starts at Al's Pizza with a complimentary drink.

I have been on many ghost tours in St Augustine over the past five years. This was the first time that I took this particular tour which I purchased on Groupon. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of St Augustine and was a good story teller. We made several stops along the two hour tour but I was disappointed that we did not go inside any buildings. This tour is strictly outside. But I did hear a few new stories that I had never heard on other ghost tours which was pretty cool. The tour started accross the street from Flagler College and ended at the old Cemetery beside the visitor center. This was very convenient as most people park in the parking garage behind the visitors center. I would recommend this tour to those with children or folks that do not drink alcohol. If you do not have children and enjoy adult beverages I would suggest the pub crawl ghost tour.

This was the entirity of our tour. Our guide catering to this inconvienence of a person in our group.

Big waste of money!! Our tour guide DEREK catered to two girls the entire tour. One girl literally chased him down every time we walked somehwere new. As Derek was talking this girl was mouthing every single word he would say. Derek did not care one bit about the other 20 people in the tour and only cared about these two girls. Our group left the tour halfway through due to our lack of interest and the poor experience. Would not reccomend. Waste of money.

Had a very informational, and well guided tour on our first night of vacation. A larger group but that didn't take away from the experience. We learned so many facts about the town. I didn't put two into together in the beginning but don't expect to be frightened on this tour, once I got past that initial disappointment learning about everything else was very entertaining

There are many tours in St. Augustine, and I'm sure they are all just fine, but my wife and I were intrigued by this one. There is a sailing tour and a trolley tour, but we chose to take the walking tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable, and was clearly interested in the material being presented. It was more than just a tour, it was a sort of performance art. Our tour started in the late evening at ended in the dark, and was just the right amount of time to engage our interest without tiring us out. They had a book written by their staff, and it's not too bad. A nice memento of the evening.

Great ghost stories with historical content. Andy was awesome! Stay for the 2nd part and get ready to participate!

A look-alike small human face on the ground - but why on earth should it be scary?

Honestly, I think we got what we paid for. I still prefer to spend that much money for something like local seafood or sandwiches, though. I could not blame of the price; especially we got it discounted through Groupon. The tour was somehow dull and drowsy. I never imagined how boring it was, seriously. We could not even finish the whole journey. Our tour guide seemed to be friendly, soft-spoken, and so familiar with the places she guided us to, but none of the stories she told was scary. The tour should consider changing the name of Ghost Tour to Historical Stories Tour. We probably could learn a lot about local historical figures, mansions, and nothing more.

Derek was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and captivating tour guide! He brings history to life! If you're planning to take a tour, make sure it's with him! #ghosttoursofataugustine #tourstagustine.com

Getting this activity 'on the books' was more than aggravating, to say the least. The tasting tour…read moresays that to text them is a quicker option for response to inquiries (for them.) It most definitely didn't seem that way! They DID get back to me via text, but it wasn't in a quick fashion. I'd say an semi-acceptable fashion (within 8-12 hours.) Regardless, we DID get our event scheduled for a private tour with (15 people.) It was quite an expensive 'private tour' of the night of lights that was explained to me as tho the grinch (driving one trolly) and Santa (driving another trolly) would interact with one another (more than minimally) and make the tour exclusive to all 15 of us. They would hop off one trolly and interact with the passengers of the other trolly, etc. In reality, it was NOT a collective tour. The grinch separated from the other trolly and it was essentially two separate tours. Approximately 3-4 times they interacted with one another (acting as tho one would hit the other's trolly, yelling insults at Santa, responding to the grinch, and stopping at the 'duck bar' for the ambush together.) The address to initially meet at is kind of hard to find, even with GPS, as well! There is NO indication of 'the tasting tours' business name on the store front at the address. It is a Cuban bakery.' YES, we all had a good time.... But I don't want the rest of you that book a 'private' tour to be mislead or pay for something you won't receive. *** I also find it distasteful that the company charges an unprecedented amount of money for the trolly rides and then has the audacity to send an email asking for further tip for the trolly drivers.*** Whether a patron tips or not is up to them, not a business owner requesting it!

And I wasn't wrong! The tour lasted about 90 minutes (and it leaves promptly FYI) and takes you along the shoreline of Amelia Island - past the shrimping boats and past a Civil War era fort - before heading towards Cumberland Island National Seashore. This is where the true fun of the tour was for me. I had no idea really the history of the island and found it fascinating how the Carnegies and Rockefellers and more of the country's elite used this random Georgia seashore as their private escape. The history of both Cumberland and Amelia Islands is incredibly fascinating and the guides for both the Florida and Georgia sides respectively were well informed and personable. Plus - you'll very likely see a ton of great wildlife throughout including dolphins and wild horses and pigs. It's a great way to spend an afternoon in the area and a fabulous introduction to Cumberland Island National Seashore/Park.
