Terrifying roller coaster. I don't know why, but every time I go on this ride I think "why do people go on this?" It literally feels like the roller coaster is gonna break down. That's probably because it's made of wood. The wood creaks, and makes noises. It bends. The ride is jerky and extremely fast. The drops are big, and you will feel like you are falling to your death. It's really not fun for me anymore. This ride is just so scary lol I'm sure all the thrill seekers love it. But not me. I used to like this ride. But as an adult, who is more aware of my own mortality, no thanks lol

Maybe its time to have an employee clean the fans. Alot of dust and no air.

This is a wooden roller coaster, I just went on ot for the 2nd time, this morning, during the Boysenberry Festival, after a 75 minute way. It's scary, but it's so fast, there's no time to react. (I'm so glad that I made it twice to the chiropractor, or else I wouldn't have been able to handle all of this. I hurt myself at work last week and was in so much pain.) It is a long ride and it was worth the wait. This is hubby's favorite ride. Our son loves it too. I was holding onto the bar. We came yesterday but the wait was very long. So we're glad we made it first thing today.

My friend and I were at Knott's this past Sunday. She loves extreme rides. I'm a baby in a grown up body so I go for the tamer and more gentler rides LOL. Ghostrider was the first ride we got in line for. Luckily, I inquired about the intensity of this ride before we got too deep into the line... it was a 2 hr wait YIKES! Sure enough it was one of the most extreme rides at Knott's per my friend's opinion. We exited the line immediately LOL. It was meant to be because we were exactly right near the emergency exit. We didn't have to say "excuse me" a thousand times LOL. Sorry my friend. I will rate neutal 3 since I didn't actually ride it. So if you're game for the thrill and excitement, then this ride is for YOU. Have fun!

    First time riding it.

GhostRider is one of the greatest roller coasters in the world. It really does not get better than this. Almost all coasters start off with a steep drop and gradually run out of steam towards the end. GhostRider seems to defy the laws of physics as its pacing remains relentless and even increases towards the end. The turns don't even really bank, so it feels the train will fly off the track (in a thrilling way.). I don't even feel dizzy riding this. I just want more and more. The only negative is that the line is always long, and the park's glacial operations don't seem to help. But GhostRider still gets 5* because the ride itself is just terrific.

This is honestly one of the best roller coasters around. We normally get in line for this ride as soon as we enter the park. The only reason I am not giving this ride 5 stars is because the line so often goes 2+ hours. No ride is worth waiting in line that long for. We have gone on this many, many times. It's my opinion is that the front of the train is a more comfortable riding experience. It's smoother and more enjoyable. But if you like it rough, ride in the way back. It jostles you something fierce back there.

I got a bruise on my right elbow after going on Ghost Rider. I get the nostalgia for wooden coasters, but they're just so rough. It needs a retracking to smooth it out.

The Ghost Rider is swirling all around you now I don't know what to do and I don't know how to feel inside I wish I could get off this ride! Every time I ride I'm seeing ghosts they're no more real than the lies you used to say about how scary the Ghost Rider is suposto be! I'm not scared for me I'm scared for you but the Ghost Rider won't let me be! So every time I ride I'm seeing ghosts they're no more real than the lies you say of how scary this wooden coaster is suposto be! Can we escape? Nope not today your ride on the Ghost Rider is here to stay and even though I moved away from this ride I still see a bitter shade of gray of where the Ghost Rider used to stay but now it's everything I do, everywhere I go i'm seeing ghosts they're no more real than the lies you kept telling me in line of what the Ghost Rider might do or say as it's clicking it's way down the rickety wooden ghostly track just waiting for you to go on the drop attack! Ghost Rider is one of the best wooden coasters in the country it's smooth super smooth after getting re tracked in 2016 only to get hooked up with new train cars too and I must say it's wearing nicely as it's still just as smooth as it was the day they re opened it! Ghost Rider is the last attraction that the Knott's family designed for the park it wasn't until Cedar Fair bought the park that the ride actually became a reality as they had the money to build it and boom out came the Ghost Rider seriously such a fun ride even more so at night so make sure you get your ride on as the line for this awesome coaster can get super long on busy days! Overall one of the best attractions in the park it's perfect for all ages and it's just a great time hanging out with the Ghost Rider!

The ride entrance is a spooky mining cave that foreshadows things to come......

There is so much to see, do, and explore that it kept both our three-year-old and us adults busy the entire day. From rides and attractions there was always something going on around every corner. Since it was a weekend, the park was very crowded, and most ride wait times ranged anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. Despite the long lines, we were still able to enjoy ourselves and make great family memories. One thing that really surprised us was the food. The variety of dining options was excellent, and everything we tried was delicious. Compared to many other theme parks, the food selection here felt more diverse and flavorful. The only thing I noticed was the lack of a dedicated playground area for smaller children. It wasn't a big issue for our family since there were still plenty of things for our little one to enjoy, but it's something worth mentioning for families with young kids. Overall, Knott's Berry Farm is a fantastic family destination with lots of entertainment, great food, and activities for all ages. Even with the crowds, we had a wonderful first visit and would definitely come back again!

The mountain structure that houses the ride is seven stories tall! It's built with steel and elaborate rock work. During the ride, you pass through the tunnels, caverns, underground lakes, bubbling steam pots, geysers, and even ornate cave formations! One of the most memorable features of the ride is the hole scene set in a large chamber! You'll see dozens of animatronic miners hard at work trying to strike it rich! In 2014, this ride did go through a refurbishment. The renovation included new animatronics, enhanced lighting, sound systems, special effects, and new paint! This is such a great family ride. This ride is a dark ride/set piece ride that takes you back into the mines back in the day. It's Kott's first ride opened in the 1960s so some of the animatronics look a bit haunting/aged, but it's still a fun and neat time all around. It's cool that you can look so deep into caverns, see the inside lakes, pools of water, steam, and stalactites and stalagmites. In the 2010s some updates were made as well, so it's not all entirely aged. There's a cute musical light show in the water pools/cave formation rooms. Later on you also go outside of the cave and see out to the park. I love the little vultures. Nice and slow ride with lots to look at.

We checked in on a Sunday and it was a bit crowded, but we managed to do it all in three hours. The kids loved the bunk bed, and my only complaint about our room is that the tub faucet leaked. The next day, we packed a bag with a change of clothes that we fit into a small locker for $12, and went back into the waterpark for a couple more hours. I recommend packing travel toiletries for a quick shower before leaving. They have plenty of showers, changing rooms, and a swimsuit dryer, but no toiletries in the waterpark bathrooms.
