The turf is ripped, full of holes, and in rough shape on pretty much every hole. We honestly considered turning around and asking for a refund, but our kids were so excited to play that we stuck it out rather than crush their little mini-golf dreams. The staff was genuinely friendly, so no complaints there--they were the best part of the experience. I can't speak for the other attractions, but if you're coming for mini golf, I'd recommend spending the extra few bucks and heading to Holy Moly at the Spectrum instead. At least there, the biggest obstacle is the course--not whether the carpet will survive another round.

We went on as many rides as we can, my son is too short for the bigger rides and unfortunately my nephew is too tall for the kid rides. I couldn't believe how much fun it was when there isn't so many people crowding! A few rides weren't working at the time or they said it's been closed such as the gravity one, sawmill, and a boat one that was covered with a tarp. We had so much fun at the arcade, the prizes are the same as any ticket prize location, lots of games and on a hot day it's such a nice place to sit and relax. We didn't try the mini golf or the buccaneer water play area, it wasn't crowded so we definitely could've gone but we stayed at the rides and the arcade. The only downside is we cannot bring any outside drinks or food, we weren't sure if they would allow us to bring dietary restricted foods if we mentioned allergies or intolerances, but we were fine without our snacks.

Especially for the bumper car because that's what he's really looking forward to first time at an amusement park. So we spent $100+ to get in. She glanced at me and yelled, 'I'll check later'. Even when the ruler was hided next to her, even when there's no one else in the line, even when she's doing nothing just standing there looking at the adults driving bumper cars... she just had us waited and got my son hope so high. When their turn was done, she slowly pushed the car to the side, took out the ruler behind her stand and told us oh he's not tall enough. I held it in, and asked politely if my son can sit at the passenger seat and I'll drive since there were seat belts. She said no way. Only because my 4 years old was so excited to get in there, I tried again, asking ' There's no one here yet, you don't need to turn on the machine, can he just sit on it and feel the bumper car for one minute?' Again, she said 'no way'. The place has been around quite some time and kids do tend to make a mess, but they keep up after it. Parking is for a fee, but sometimes you get a game card that comes with the parking. It can get crowded in the summer and on weekends. We go on week days and have been several times. Now, the prices in here add up fast so be mindful of that, but it is the same as other similar places. Miniature golf is about 16$, a go kart is about 12$, the arcade can really add up so get a card that you can use for the wide variety of games they have. The bumper boats and Disk Thrill Ride are about 12$ per person. We love their little train and that is about 5$. You can get a two hour wrist band and we do that and save a lot that way. All in all the prices are fair. The service there is nice and the place has a lot to offer, you don't have to do it all. There is a lot to do. They also have Birthday Parties there and that is great. It is super fun.

We went early when the park first opened which gave us time to get in a few rides before more of the crowds started showing up. The lines were not too long at all. The longest lines we encountered were the Calico River Rapids and GhostRider. I still didn't feel like the line was too crazy of a wait though. I was expecting to only get to ride a couple rides and we ended up riding a lot more! When we arrived we also decided to get lunch early because the lines seemed a little long. It was a good idea because the lines just got longer. The Summer Nights Market was also happening and since we stayed at the hotel we had a tasting card. Some of the meals were pretty good but there was one that was disappointing and that was the bbq pork bahn mi. It was super cold and the bread tasted stale. Knotts continues to do little to curtail the overpopulation of rampant and out of control teenagers that seem to take over the park every time we go. Despite their new policy that teenagers aren't allowed to be in the park without an adult they seem to do little to police their own policy. On our family trip a few months ago, it was clear that teenagers roaming the park freely, being disrespectful to guests and not being told anything by park staff was once again taking place. My daughter recently had her eighth-grade trip recently and the park was so overcrowded her and her friends were able to only get on ONE ride. Yes, that's correct. They got on ONE ride and were there over 7 hours. This was due entirely because they over booked and had probably dozens of schools there from all over So. Cal. Why in the world would they allow so many schools to go on the SAME DAY! Greed, I'm guessing or at least incompetence. This completely ruined their day seeing as the lines were so long one ride was all they could get on. Of course this was because there were so many kids running around and completely took over the place. My concerns were validated in a recent news report on several local TV stations. It was reported that there were large numbers of teenagers that were looking to "take over" Knotts after a Tik Tok post was leaked out. Thankfully, police caught wind of this and their devious plan was foiled. Knotts needs better planning, management, and overall control of their park so that it may once again become a family-friendly enviornment.
