It felt like you were truly in the Wild West. I loved buying souvenirs in the shops. They have a large Knott's Berry Farm official restaurant there as well. The rides are all very unique which was nice. A good variety: there are big roller coasters, fun car/buggy rides, tall drop rides, 3-D rides, etc. They also had tons of great candy stores too. I began coming to Knott's Berry farm a few years ago for Knott's Scary Farm and was impressed with the number of mazes, scare zones, and shows! They also had many rides open. There was so much to do that it almost impossible to explore everything in one night! A plant-based blessing! Knott's truly has dining options for everyone! In addition to the food allergen and dietary restriction guide (https://qr1.be/RBJC) where you can easily view allergens and dietary preferences from all the restaurants and snack stands, Knott's also has supervisory staff that can provide further information on preparation and additional options for severe food allergies. At Coasters Diner I was able to eat the onion rings as they had no eggs or dairy. They also offered vegan burgers, as well as vegan hot dogs and vegan chicken tenders! I have a Six flags season pass and love that it gives me access to Knotts Berry Farm. I've never been to Knotts Berry Farm before so this is my first time. Unfortunately, it was very rainy in March when we came so bad timing on my end. I don't live in socal so this was a long trip to make it out here, but we had a blast at Knotts Berry! We go to the amusement parks in Norcal and find Knotts Berry to be a lot better! They have a kiddie area called Camp Snoopy. I think it surprisedly well maintained and the rides are fun - some of them are very similar to Planet Snoopy rides too. Camp Snoopy has 1 rollercoaster ride that i think tops it for the kiddos - sidewinder is pretty amazing. If your child is tall enough to wind it, this is truly a great introduction rollercoaster with twists and turns. The other parts of the park was also very fun. I like the adult rollercoaster section because the theme/vibe reminds me of a beach like santa Cruz Broadwalk type. Overall, I am a fan of this park especially for the kiddos. Snoopy did make some appearances so the kiddos were excited. Highly recommend checking out! read more

My wife and I finally decided to use our annual passes for admission and food memberships by meeting another couple in the park for dinner. We agreed to try the fish tacos in the Fiesta area of the park. Walking through the park on a late July evening offered visitors a bit of controlled chaos as the park was crowded but fun and lively. Daytime in Southern California on this scorching day was between 100 and 104 degrees, and as a result, many people waited until the temperature cooled a bit before visiting the park. This was evident in the many guests entering the park when we arrived at seven pm. The park is always fun and full of energy; at night, with all the multicolored lights on and bands playing live music in various areas, it is a hub of laughter and good times. Visitors could be seen dancing to a band performing Latin music, another playing classic rock hits, while others screamed as they rode the many thrill rides. The park is extremely well maintained and organized. Employees are very helpful and friendly, and they go out of their way to make each visitor's experience in the park a positive one. My family and I enjoy visiting this amusement park, and we will definitely be returning very soon. read more

I learned something about myself at Knott's Berry Farm. That is, I never need to visit another theme park again. It's not them, it's me. Roller coasters and such scare the living shit out of me. Not in a fun way. Becky feels the same way! If you love thrill rides, the rides at Knott's Berry Farm are no joke, at least for us. Especially Xcelerator. Ghost Rider was a scream-fest also. Calico Mine Ride was more my speed. LOL! We've been to Knott's for Knott's "Scary" Farm during Halloween time and that was way more to our liking. I hadn't been to Knott's Berry Farm in a long time. My family and I went on the weekend of 4th of July. We were expecting it to be busy because of the holiday. We went early when the park first opened which gave us time to get in a few rides before more of the crowds started showing up. The lines were not too long at all. The longest lines we encountered were the Calico River Rapids and GhostRider. I still didn't feel like the line was too crazy of a wait though. I was expecting to only get to ride a couple rides and we ended up riding a lot more! When we arrived we also decided to get lunch early because the lines seemed a little long. It was a good idea because the lines just got longer. The Summer Nights Market was also happening and since we stayed at the hotel we had a tasting card. Some of the meals were pretty good but there was one that was disappointing and that was the bbq pork bahn mi. It was super cold and the bread tasted stale. I love Knott's Berry Farm. I'm into the Knott's Scary Farm more than the regular season. It's rare to see me out in the daylight lol Really though, I have an allergy to the sun and it's hard to do anything outdoors. I'm thankful that Knott's allows umbrellas, because I would not be able to go to the park without that. I bring my umbrella, hat and sunglasses plus a bucket of sunblock everywhere I go lolol This time, I went to Knott's with my husband and two of my friends. My two friends live in Oregon and they drove down to do Knott's Berry Farm with us. We were disappointed overall because many of the roller coasters have weight and height requirements that made it hard for us to get on any rides. We are American sized people that like to eat lol Only 2 out of 4 of us could get on Ghost Rider. None of us could get on most of the rides. We were able to get on the Calico Rapids together- the only ride all 4 of us could do lol That was disappointing. The funnel cake was great, per usual. Stopped by on Saturday, 7/4/26 with my boyfriend to celebrate the 4th of July! We bought the all-day dining pass (originally $35 however there is a July special where you can get 2 passes for $50!). We used one of our passes and got so many meals! I also brought some containers to bring the meals to go since it was too much! It wasn't too crowded that day. Got to sit in the front row of ghost rider today, totally fun! You anticipate every drop and curve which actually enhances the thrill rather than diminishing it. The line was over two hours long and we saw a group of teens cooperating to put together a Lego project--a bold move if you ask me...weren't they afraid of losing pieces? We also got fried chicken meals on the way out (Chicken to Go across from the Peanuts headquarters and next to the Knotts bakery on the way to the parking lot). I recently visited Knott's Berry Farm with my 15-year-old niece for a fun auntie-and-niece day, and overall we had a good time. The park has plenty to do, and we especially enjoyed treating ourselves to the funnel cake topped with vanilla ice cream and strawberries--it was delicious and definitely one of the highlights of our visit. My biggest complaint is the wait times. We waited about two and a half hours for GhostRider, which felt excessive. I understand that weekends are busy, but it's hard to justify spending over $100 for admission and then being asked to pay an additional $50-$70 for a Fast Lane pass. While we still enjoyed our day together, the long lines make it difficult to visit often. That said, if you're patient and there to make memories with family or friends, you can still have a great time. read more

I'll start with some words about Knott's in general, then comment on the Ghost Town Grill. Knott's isn't tops among amusement park park experiences. Shows are extremely limited except during the busiest seasons, and some things look tired. That said, it's priced accordingly--much less expensive than other venues, and season passes are a steal if you'll go more than once. And "in season," there's much more going on, though of course more crowd. It's still a fun experience, Ghost Town is unique and somewhat educational with a real one-room schoolhouse and docent and and a nearly 200-year-old train (complete with train robbers). You can even ride a real stagecoach around the back sides of the park, though it seats only about 11 at a time so the wait can be long. I have many happy memories from a long lifetime of visiting, with Ghost Town being the original area of the park. And of course there are other themed areas--1920s era boardwalk, fiesta village, and kid-friendly Camp Snoopy. Shows are fun too, when you can catch them. Krazy Kirk and his gang are humorous, especially for the older crowd. The show on the big stage can be quite impressive. They may have discontinued the saloon show, but if it's still available during busy seasons, it's also enjoyable. On to the grill, one of my favorite spots. Inside, the kitchen sits behind a covered wagon front, giving kids something to look at. If you're fortunate enough to snag a spot on the front porch on a nice day, you can enjoy watching the park-goers walk by and possibly hear the ring of the blacksmith's hammer. In busier seasons, you might catch the old-time Christmas carolers or see a Wild West sheriff confronting some troublemakers during your meal. Grill food is good. We had a salmon burger, shrimp salad, and salmon salad. All were reasonably priced, fresh, and generous. But watch out for the beer and wine prices. They're almost as high as a meal! Knott's isn't, well, you know...that other big place down the road. But it's much less expensive and still a great option for families and anyone who just wants a pleasant day. read more

Knott's is a great alternative to Disneyland in terms of cost and accessibility. We bought two annual passes so now we're trying our best to use them. It feels like most of their rides are fast and scary like Hangtime, Xcelerator, Supreme Scream. I'm not a huge fan of these rides just because of the scary drops. I'm OK with speed but just don't drop or loop me. LOL. I wish they had more relaxing rides like Disney, ie. Pirates, Haunted Mansion, etc. Sometimes you just wanna sit back, relax, look at cute things after a long week. Not everything has to be extreme. The Log ride was kinda like that but it looks like they didn't try very hard to build it out more. The Pony Express was interesting. I've never sat in a horse riding position like that before so that was fun. However, the ride was super short. Like a minute! Definitely not worth the long wait. Enjoyed a churro sundae at Ghost Town. It was good overall, but the churros were a little bit thick and doughy. Definitely a fun family friendly place that I'll come back to. read more

I've been going to Knott's Berry Farm for the last 40 years, and I appreciate how this park has stayed consistently good through it all. It's a fun time, less crowded than Disneyland, much simpler than Disneyland, and a lot of fun! I've got three kids under the age of 12, and there's a lot for them to do in Camp Snoopy. There are some solid deals on food and drinks too, and while the meals are nothing to write home about for the most part, some other places have some really good portion sizes. Half-chicken meal at the Boardwalk is a good deal. Parking is a bit steep. I'm surprised that it was $40 even in the general parking lot. But the walk to the park is short, so I like the convenience (ahem, Disneyland). Is it as immersive as Disneyland? No. Is the app good? Not really. (lol for example it said the log ride wait was 15 minutes but actually it took an HOUR). Is the storytelling and music as good as Disney? Heck no. But it's a LOT of fun, the roller coasters slap (esp. Ghost Rider) and it's hecka cheaper, especially if you buy an annual pass. As I mentioned before, Camp Snoopy is brilliant for kids under the age of 10, and my 11-year-old still has some fun on the rides there. Highlights include the spinning swing rides, Sally's Big Swing, and the Snoopy Roller Coaster. The Wild West Ambience is on point. Bandits still rob your train mid-ride, and the live banjo music at the barbecue joint in Old Town was a nice touch! All in all, a solid good time. Six flags Vallejo, great America, multiple waterparks, six flags LA and knotts.. knotts is absolutely my favorite place. It has a ton for the kids to do. It has a ton for the adults to do. There is plenty of shade and it feels definitely classier than the other parks.. the food is good depending where you order from and it just never gets old going.. they are super strict about your parking pass. I think everyone visiting LA should try Knott's Berry Farm at least once. I grew up across the street from here and I still remember the fireworks. It's a long ways away from being compared to Disneyland but it's honestly very nostalgic and old school theme park vibes here. I took my two boys and we enjoyed walking around, doing all the rides they wanted (not the rollercoasters) and eating some pretty decent food too. So I went to Knotts for the boysenberry festival. And left with a smile & full stomach. So my boyfriend and I got taster cards for about 60 dollars. With the taster cards you get the option to choice six items (food / drinks / mix drinks & wines / desserts ) for the festival. The options were limitless. So I did get full and only used 5 of my credits. Boysenberry Brisket nachos - started strong with this . Really good & flavorful . My only thing is too much sauce drowning the kettle nachos. Boysenberry spicy bulgogi - 10/10 recommend Boysenberry candied pork belly - really good a nice size . The boysenberry flavor pairs well with I tried 2 drinks boysenberry whiskey lemonade & boysenberry mojito. They were similar to a seltzer type drink . Built on a berry farm, now it's considered a world-renowned theme park destination, this park has (4) themed areas: Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, Boardwalk, and Camp Snoopy. My son loves Camp Snoopy! Had a great time at Knott's Berry Farm with my family! We went on a pretty hot day, so we were definitely prepared for the heat, but overall we had a really enjoyable experience. One thing that surprised me was that the wait times for the rides weren't as bad as I expected, especially considering how busy the park can get. We were able to get on quite a few rides without spending the entire day standing in line, which made the visit much more enjoyable. There's a good mix of rides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone in the family was able to find something they enjoyed. We also loved walking around the park and taking in the atmosphere. Even with the heat, there were plenty of places to take a break and cool down. Overall, it was a fun family day and a great way to spend time together. The heat was probably the biggest challenge, but it didn't take away from the experience. It pains me to give Knotts a negative review because we've had some good memories over the years, but I have no choice considering how the park has conducted itself in recent times. Knotts continues to do little to curtail the overpopulation of rampant and out of control teenagers that seem to take over the park every time we go. Despite their new policy that teenagers aren't allowed to be in the park without an adult they seem to do little to police their own policy. On our family trip a few months ago, it was clear that teenagers roaming the park freely, being disrespectful to guests and not being told anything by park staff was once again taking place. My daughter recently had her eighth-grade trip recently and the park was so overcrowded her and her friends were able to only get on ONE ride. Yes, that's correct. They got on ONE ride and were there over 7 hours. This was due entirely because they over booked and had probably dozens of schools there from all over So. Cal. Why in the world would they allow so many schools to go on the SAME DAY! Greed, I'm guessing or at least incompetence. This completely ruined their day seeing as the lines were so long one ride was all they could get on. Of course this was because there were so many kids running around and completely took over the place. My concerns were validated in a recent news report on several local TV stations. It was reported that there were large numbers of teenagers that were looking to "take over" Knotts after a Tik Tok post was leaked out. Thankfully, police caught wind of this and their devious plan was foiled. Knotts needs better planning, management, and overall control of their park so that it may once again become a family-friendly enviornment. read more

Although the park is pretty good for the price and it's smaller size plus the fun theme and if you like Peanuts. You can buy the boysenberry tasting card ahead of time for 6 items. You'll buy it separate from the park ticket. You can also buy it at the park. And you can also pay for the boysenberry food a la carte. There's also some items not on the tasting card list so you'll have to buy those separate. Most of the boysenberry locations are at the ghost town section. The boysenberry pastry tart is pretty good! Not too sweet, nice texture and a good amount. The blood orange lemonade was also great. Also not too sweet and refreshing in the heat. The matcha was okay, not nothing to stress over getting. This review is mainly for my visit to Ghost Town ALIVE! I have not been to Knott's Berry Farm since I was 10 years old, and was recently invited by my friend to go to the park, where he insisted we do the Ghost Town ALIVE experience. I did not know what I was getting myself into! For those who don't know, Knott's Ghost Town comes to life during the Summer and transforms into an almost 8-hour immersive experience. Characters come to life and act out a story which changes each day depending on the audience. As I entered, a townsperson introduced themselves and let me know that I can become a "town citizen" at Town Hall - and thus began my journey of the day! After being inducted, I traveled to the schoolhouse and was tasked to bring a letter to the "Calico Gazette". And then ran into some outlaws who invited me to join their team of bandits on a quest involving cattle wrangling and stealing blueprints. The day continued on meeting numerous different townsfolk and learning their stories, with them encouraging me to interact and go on adventures. -1 star because I stepped away to go on a ride which was over an hour wait. There were several other rides which had 2+ hour waits. I highly suggest setting aside a day devoted to Ghost Town for any and all ages and abilities! read more

I am leaving this bad review because I was at knotts yestersay (6/29/2026) and as I was in line for the rapids I saw a boy walking up and down the line crying. No one was helping him I stopped him and asked if he was okay he said he COULDNT FIND HIS DAD I go up to the workers and they call security. This was a 15-18 min incident and security did not show up EVEN AFTER I FOUND THE BOYS DAD there was still no security rushing to this poor child. It felt like no one cared for this child but me and my family. I am absolutely disgusted with how knotts handled this situation absolutely no urgency for this child. I have grown up going to Knott's Berry Farm considering I live less than 10 miles away and have always loved the Peanuts gang and the rides! This is the 2nd year in a row that I bought a Knott's annual pass and truly it is so worth it. For a monthly rate of approximately $26 (for my pass), I get admission, parking, and the meal plan. I sometimes even stop off at Knott's after work just to grab some dinner and go home! However, this is now my 2nd time at the Boysenberry Festival. I love this festival; the decor is always so cute, the lights, and I enjoy seeing the vendor booths and what people are selling, even though I did not buy anything this year. The other thing I noticed and enjoyed about the Boysenberry Tasting Card (which is an additional $55 on top of your pass), that the portions they give are HUGE and so well worth it. You get (6) tasting items (either food, desserts, drinks, and alcohol). I am sober so I do not use my tasting menu on alcohol. First was the Spicy Boysenberry Bulgogi over white rice & scallions. Man was this SPICY. I can tolerate spice but this had a nice little kick to it that took me by surprise! The meat was tender, the rice was meh. I paired with the Boysenberry and Kiwi Lemonade which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart that I thoroughly enjoyed. Next was the Boysenberry Brisket over Mac & Cheese which was probably my favorite. The Mac & Cheese tasted like white cheddar, the cheese sauce was warm and thick and creamy! The brisket was super tasty! I LOVE mushrooms so when I seen Boysenberry Sauteed Mushrooms with a CREAMY Vegetarian Orzo, I was excited! The mushrooms had absorbed the boysenberry taste and wasn't too sweet but added god flavor. Reminded me of red-winded sauteed mushrooms. HOWEVER, there was no CREAMY in the CREAMY vegetarian orzo. There was no sauce... It was just plain orzo noodles and the mushrooms. Not even buttered plain noodles.. Not sure if the staff forgot to include it on my plate, or if never existed? Disappointed for sure. The Crispy Chicken Wings were DEFINITELY crispy and had lots of meat of them! They give 5 wings and the sriracha didn't really have the boysenberry taste as I thought. Lastly, the deep fried churro with boysenberry cream and soft serve. I have always loved the boysenberry soft serve so that is no secret to me. However, the deep fried churro was hot and fresh and yummy. But to me it tasted more like a large funnel cake and not a churro? I was not getting any cinnamon sugar taste to it. I got all different items then I did last year, which I enjoy. This festival is best if you go with more people so you are able to try more items! My favorite item last year that I STRONGLY contemplated getting again this year (which I wish I did) was the Boysenberry Elote! read more

Went to Knotts Berry for the boysenberry festival. We mistakenly went during one of the last days that it was available. It was super crowded and honestly, we only waited in lines. The food itself was super good and flavorful, and the proportions were good after a while, though it gets a little salty, so make sure to get a drink! Wasn't really into writing any of the rides due to it being super busy, but honestly, this place is mid, only come for the festival. 5/10 organizational skills. read more

We visited Knotts for the Boysenberry Festival. I love boysenberry and I like trying menu items and drinks using the fruit flavor. The preferred parking is now pretty much taken if you arrive at 11 am or later. So many people now have the Prestige pass since they dropped the price. We parked in the big lot across the tunnel and there was plenty of parking there but the line was so backed up for people trying to get into the West Lot. Food was hit or miss. We didn't get to try the more popular items due to the crazy long lines. We did order a lemonade and a paloma and a boysenberry mai tai but forgot to take photos - very good, not to strong though. The chicken bites were a no, tasted like soggy frozen nuggets. You get some lettuce and sticks of cucumber and carrot. Waste of taste! The brisket nachos and the chili cheese fries were awesome - you won't be disappointed with these choices. So much flavor and good portions. Chicken wings and bratwurst was good but nothing stood out there. Knotts is always fun, even if we don't go on any rides, we still enjoy walking around. I suggest to management to add more signage along Beach about which parking lots are full/open because by the time you get to the parking area and its full, you are stuck in tons of traffic trying to go back around. read more

Season pass holder here! I love coming when I don't feel like putting too much thought into a day of fun or it's nice to just come and all around, get a snack or treat and people watch. Knotts is a classic and always has a good time to offer. I went to Ghost Town Grill inside the park for the first time this past weekend. The food was underwhelming though. The menu items sounded amazing but everything we ordered was about a 3/5. It was nice to sit outside on their patio and enjoy the view though. Glad we tried it! read more

Brings back childhood memories. Great place for the family to enjoy and have fun. The park is totally cashless to make transactions easier for everyone. They offer machines to convert cash onto a card to use is you want to limit spending. The roller coasters are great for the older kids and they have a section for the little ones. They have many food stands and plenty of seating throughout the park. Adult beverages are also offered in certain areas. Souvenir stores are located in and outside of the park. Definitely a classic place to visit. It has a very nostalgic feel and really hasn't changed much since I was a kid. Now that I have a season pass, I stop by much more often instead of just once every other year. If you're able to visit frequently, I'd highly recommend getting a season pass; it's 100% worth it, especially since they've recently added quite a few new perks. If you're not a fan of large crowds, it's best to avoid holidays and special events, as those times are usually packed with people who are off work or school. If it is a truly busy day, you might be waiting over 2 hours for a ride... I typically go in the mornings or during off-peak days if I plan on riding attractions without long lines. If I do happen to go during super busy days, I'd mostly just browse the shops for any new and interesting merch. read more

Late post - Visited Knotts Berry Farm on 12/28/25 when it was still Knotts Merry Farm for the holidays. We took our son to Knotts for the second time. First time was 4.5 years ago. We arrived shortly before rope drop which was a good time because we were able to fine parking across the park. Once inside, we went to the Ghost Town side to wait for rope drop. They played the National Anthem. I was caught off guard because I didn't know they do that at Knotts. I was moved and emotional. My son put his right hand over his heart. Twas a nice experience. He got to experience rides that I thought he would never get on. One thing about him is he is on the spectrum and waiting in line can be challenging. We didn't go to Guest Services because well we didn't think we were going to get on a ride that's 30+ min wait. Lol! I was wrong. He wanted to ride Sally's Swing Along at Camp Snoopy! On top of that, he's never been on a ride like this one before! I volunteered to go on it with him, the ride attendant was very nice and helping us get situated. So the ride has one double sided swing. 4 adults only. One on each end and the littles in the middle. Hence the long line/wait. My brother grabbed chicken fingers for him afterwards and it was pretty delicious. Our overall experience was pretty good! We had loads of fun! Felt merry, happy, and lots of cheer! read more
