They painted all trim (not just updated sills) to ensure matching exterior. There was a hitch with the electrical work, but they were patient and worked with us to determine an acceptable solution. They fixed the drywall in the basement (then re-opened and fixed again after the electrical solution was determined). All was completed for the original estimate price. I would definitely hire again.

I requested that the entire kitchen design for the above cabinets remain the same measurements as I currently had. However, I wanted a lazy Susan in the corner unit below, and that meant changing the measurements of some of the bottom cabinets to fit it. I knew what cabinets I wanted. I knew what color theme I wanted. I picked out the color of the cabinets quickly. However, the whole design process from start to finish took 10 weeks. The designer told me he was very busy. I just needed to select the tiles for the floor and the backsplash. Once I left the designer a message that if I didn't meet him that weekend to nail down the tile selection, then I needed to cancel the entire job, he became available to meet with me to look at tiles together. I wanted the work to be done in November so it would be finished for the holidays. The crew was terrific. They were skilled. They were polite. They were very patient with me. I was working from home daily. So, I was always available to ask questions and oversee their work. A few issues came up that I believe was the fault of lack of detail during the design process. The top corner cabinet didn't come with shelves as I requested, but with a rotating round shelving unit. The cabinet above the sink was 3" shorter than my directions in writing that I handed the designer. So, these items had to be re-ordered and didn't come in until early January. Each time I tried to call and email the designer to ask him about these mistakes, he didn't respond. I worked with Luisa, the project manager. While she was never on site during the renovation, she always took my calls or called me back quickly (the same as emails). Frankly, I think Luisa should have been the designer for me and worked with me throughout the entire process. I don't think it was effective to have one "designer" come to my house twice and be available to meet me in the store to later hand it all over to the project manager. I probably feel this way because I didn't really need real design help. I knew what design I wanted from the start. I just needed advice to help me pick out the tiles.

We would easily rate them 5 stars, save for a few communication missteps along the way. Specifically, there was some confusion around the bathroom mirrors (we expected medicine cabinets), the window frames, and flickering lights. For example, we clearly requested to have the window frame removed and tiled around, but the decision to keep it was made without consulting us because they felt it wouldn't look right. Similarly, when we asked about flickering lights, we were told that a bidet always causes flicker unless a separate line is run. Given the cost of the project, details like that should have been brought to our attention while the lines were actively being run so we could make an informed choice, rather than after the fact. That said, they are great at explaining the reasoning behind their work, and we would certainly hire them again. Our advice to future clients is simply to be extremely explicit about what you want and double-check that every specific detail is written directly into the contract before signing.

It was crap workmanship for the beginning and the tub is still not finished properly since you scrapped it and they came several times to fix this. The amount of time and energy I am putting into fix your mistakes is ridiculous
