Wendy is a stylist to the stars (no...seriously,she is favorite actresses favorite stylist) and is a cut and color expert who has mentored and even trained others abroad. I have followed her wherever she goes for almost 20 years now and willing to make the drive wherever she goes including here which is now a 60 mile drive. Her hair color lasts way longer than any other I've had, it's the only one that doesn't make my scalp itchy (not sure what, but I think she adds magic to the mix!), and it's the only one that FULLY covers the stubborn grays on my hairline. Wendy is amazing! I came to her with dried out, over-processed hair from years of going lighter in an attempt to mask my grays. We had a good discussion about what I wanted my hair to look like and she explained some ways that she could achieve that look. We decided on a plan that Wendy would execute in several sessions, over time so that my hair would not be damaged further but we could still achieve my goal. Every time I come to Wendy my hair just gets better and better. The fact that she also took into consideration my complaint of having to use a lot of heat on my hair daily in order to keep the frizz away has been such a game changer! One of my sessions was a Keratin treatment so now I don't have to blowdry my hair all the time. It dries naturally with minimal frizz and there's still a bit of natural wave that comes through so it doesn't look artificially straight, just smoother. She has shaved so much time off of my every day hair maintenance and saved my hair for all that damage! I look forward to my hair appointments with Wendy because my hair just keeps getting better and better on top of the fact that she has such a great personality! She is always happy to see you, always smiling, but that's just Wendy...it's not fake or forced she is just a ball of energy full of passion for her craft. I made an appointment with Gian Carlo. A week later, I walked in (on time!) and they told me he was double-booked. Which is total horse poop. Why? Well, when I booked the haircut, they sent me a confirmation text, and I responded, CONFIRMED! The day before my appointment, they sent me another confirmation text, and I replied again...CONFIRMED! I called them that day to confirm their location. They knew I was coming. They just gave my appointment to someone else. I realize that in this world there are probably people that are more important than I am. Just a few. But that ain't no way to treat a first-time customer. When I got there, and they told me Gian Carlo was double-booked, I had a choice...I could drive 25 minutes back to the shack, or get a haircut with an assistant. I got the haircut. It was OK. Not worth $55. And nothing I couldn't have gotten at the local Hair Hackery. Not going back, can't recommend. To end on a positive note, the shampoo was relaxing. read more

I did my research and found this place to finally cut my below chest thick healthy hair. I specifically said I wanted a master stylist to give me long layers. They said they had a master stylist for me and I booked the apt. Well. They knew nothing about this stylist. It was their first day there. She rushed me and butchered my hair (you can literally see hack lines in it) it's so bad that I wear it up very day while growing out the disaster she made. I emailed the owner but zero response.
