The best Seafood Stew I've ever eaten - Shrimp, Scallops, Crab, Mussels, Clams, Octopus and Fish. Gorgonzola pizza in back

The best seafood stew I have ever had in my life and I've had a lot of these. This reticular dish had eight different kinds of seafood in it including octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, fish and crab. Incredible. The ambiance was romantic and classy. The waitstaff was attentive and very kind. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, just be warned it is pricey.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Kat was our server and she was amazing. Everything about our experience was first rate. I was here in a big group and we never wanted for anything. The food was tasty and fresh. I had the lobster with pasta. There were just big, buttery chunks of lobster all over the place. We tried the dessert sampler and I have to say that Key Lime 'pie' was completely out of this world. This place is highly recommended if you get out here!

This is a great restaurant in Ocean Reef Club. The saffron risotto with lobster and scallops was amazing. I also would recommend the pizzas there. Is a must try if you are in Ocean Reef Club.

Shrimp rice and asparagus ! It's great!

Great food and service. The ravioli with blue crab is a must have. The beer list was limited and the menu was expensive.

The menu is extensive with any Italian appetizer, pasta, or main dish you could think of. They also have pizza which seems very popular. We both started with a house salad; It was fresh and tasty. For our main course, I had the Spicy Shrimp fra Diavola and my wife had the lasagna. We both commented on the incredible flavor of the pasta itself (mine was served over spaghetti.) I don't ever remember eating at an Italian restaurant where the flavor of the pasta was so memorable. My entree had large gulf shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. It was noticeably spicy and tasted great. I tasted the lasagna which was also among the best I have had. If you are looking for Italian in the Key Largo area, I highly recommend the Italian Food Co. We stopped back before we left Key Largo. We shared a large house salad and a "meatball panini" (aka, a meatball calzone.). It was great and large; the two of us didn't finish it! To top off the evening we shared an espresso with ice cream. Our second trip not reinforced the first; just go & enjoy!

Amanda was bar tending and is always attentive, even when the bar is overly full. I am raving about the chicken breast stuffed with buratta cheese, spinach and prosciutto cheese. It's a huge portion and would be a nice dinner to share, especially if you have an appetizer. My friends were raving about the green beans in garlic butter sauce. It's also offered as a special side. It has been lively sitting at the bar, which was perfect for my birthday and for New Years Eve. Tonight, Friday happy hour, was pretty chill. Perfect to hang with friends and enjoy!

Unfortunately, good service can't make up for prices that are completely out of touch with reality. I came here expecting fresh local seafood, not sticker shock. We spent nearly $100 for two people, one appetizer, and absolutely no alcoholic beverages. That's outrageous for what we received. The Snapper Fish & Chips was especially disappointing. Over $40 for a fish-and-chips basket is ridiculous, regardless of what type of fish is being used. It's not as if you're serving a massive portion of fish. The sautéed snapper tasted better, but even that dish felt overpriced, especially when it's being served with rice and beans. What makes it even harder to understand is that this is the Florida Keys, surrounded by water and known for seafood. Yet the menu prices make it feel like the fish was flown in from another continent. The quality simply doesn't justify the cost. I don't mind paying premium prices for an exceptional meal. What I do mind is paying premium prices for average portions and ordinary food. Fish House has friendly employees and fast service, but those positives aren't enough to overcome the absurd pricing. There are too many other restaurants in the Keys offering better value. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced seafood meal.

For a local, nothing-fancy spot, that pricing is pretty baffling. If the food had lived up to it, I wouldn't have minded as much--but it didn't. I ordered a red pimento pizza with mozzarella, meatballs, and red peppers, and the portion of meatballs was almost laughable. I'm not exaggerating when I say it looked like they used half a meatball for the entire 16" pizza, shredded so thin it was barely noticeable. For what I paid, I expected a lot more. On top of that, the flavor just wasn't there. It was underwhelming across the board, which made the price even harder to justify. I wouldn't order from here again--it's definitely not worth it. If you're in the area, you're better off trying a wood-fired or more authentic spot where you'll likely spend the same amount but get much better quality.

Having arrived at 4:30pm, we were immediately shown to a table and informed about the happy hour specials. Not normally ones to drink much on vacation, my wife and I instead opted to live in the moment and enjoy the island life, especially since it was 30 degrees when we left Ohio that morning. As such, we each ordered a rum punch (pictured), while my best friend ordered a Bulliet old fashioned and his wife a house margarita. With drink orders out of the way, Deja, our absolutely delightful waitress, took our food orders: sauteed seafood combo (for my wife), backyard BBQ burger with coleslaw (for me), burger and fries (for my BFF and his wife, who -unlike us- were smart enough to save room for dessert). While waiting for our meals, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, and wow was there a lot to take in! First off, we loved how the old Pizza Hut building had been repurposed and transformed into the embodiment of the tropical island lifestyle. From the display tables showcasing seashells and historic Florida Keys photos, to the license plate light fixtures, to the ceiling-mounted blue sky and clouds panels, to the fish hanging in front of each distinctively Pizza Hut trapezoidal window, we loved it all! When our food arrived, it looked fantastic and tasted even better. My wife described her seafood combo as being excellent, with the Caribbean lobster "almost as good as the ones we get in Maine." Likewise, her fish was fresh and delicious, while the shrimp were succulent. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was topped with expertly caramelized onions and bacon with just the right amount of crispness to it. My coleslaw side was also excellent, with the perfect balance of creaminess and zing. Our friends also said their burger and shoestring fries were fantastic. To round out our meal, each of the four of us ordered pieces of Key Lime Pie, which was some of the best I have ever had in my life (and I have eaten a lot of Key Lime Pies!)! Throughout our meal, Deja checked on us often without being overbearing, and kept the drinks flowing. All told, for 5 drinks, 3 entrées with sides, and 4 slices of Key Lime Pie, our bill before tax, tip, and credit card surcharge was $163.93. Considering the excellent food and outstanding service we received, the four of us universally agreed it was well worth the price! Pros: outstanding service, fantastic flavours, great atmosphere, and the 2-for-1 drinks during happy hour were a great deal! Cons: none! Overall we rate Mrs. Mac's Kitchen as being Excellent and cannot wait to go back!

I'm not sure if I would come back though. I'm just wondering if the whole restaurant is dirty like our table.
