The best Seafood Stew I've ever eaten - Shrimp, Scallops, Crab, Mussels, Clams, Octopus and Fish. Gorgonzola pizza in back

The best seafood stew I have ever had in my life and I've had a lot of these. This reticular dish had eight different kinds of seafood in it including octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, fish and crab. Incredible. The ambiance was romantic and classy. The waitstaff was attentive and very kind. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, just be warned it is pricey.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Kat was our server and she was amazing. Everything about our experience was first rate. I was here in a big group and we never wanted for anything. The food was tasty and fresh. I had the lobster with pasta. There were just big, buttery chunks of lobster all over the place. We tried the dessert sampler and I have to say that Key Lime 'pie' was completely out of this world. This place is highly recommended if you get out here!

This is a great restaurant in Ocean Reef Club. The saffron risotto with lobster and scallops was amazing. I also would recommend the pizzas there. Is a must try if you are in Ocean Reef Club.

Shrimp rice and asparagus ! It's great!

Great food and service. The ravioli with blue crab is a must have. The beer list was limited and the menu was expensive.

The eggplant was cooked to perfection, cut so smoothly, and served in a delicious, fresh-tasting tomato sauce. The pizza came out hot, and the 4-cheese combo tasted amazing. Our server was also very kind and kept checking up on us throughout the meal despite balancing so many tables the restaurant was packed). They have a nice outdoor vibe, but the parking lot is small. We got lucky that someone pulled out; otherwise, we were thinking of going elsewhere.

And all their dining areas are outside. They had a piano player/singer while we were there. He was talented, but a bit too loud, so conversation was a tad difficult. I ordered the lobster ravioli. It came with a creamy, thick pink sauce. There were also some nice sized grilled shrimp on top. My husband had the frito mixto appetizer -- fried calamari with fried shrimp and fried zucchini -- as his entree. It came with a small container of tomato sauce for dipping. The portion was large. It looked quite good. For dessert, I had a slice of torta della Nonna. It is one of my favorite Italian desserts. It was listed on their website, but not on their menu, so I was happy to see they had it. Imported from Italy, it was exactly as it should be. And a nice light, but not too sweet dessert.

We were quite joy greeted and given colors for our little to keep her occupied. We ordered espresso martinis to start and they were quite good. We then ordered the catch of the day which was yellowtail and the house salad. I highly recommend ordered the house dressing. Absolutely amazing! Amanda was bar tending and is always attentive, even when the bar is overly full. I am raving about the chicken breast stuffed with buratta cheese, spinach and prosciutto cheese. It's in a lemon wine sauce that is to die for! It's on the "specials" menu, so I don't know how long it will be available. It's a huge portion and would be a nice dinner to share, especially if you have an appetizer. My friends were raving about the green beans in garlic butter sauce. It's also offered as a special side. It has been lively sitting at the bar, which was perfect for my birthday and for New Years Eve. Tonight, Friday happy hour, was pretty chill. Perfect to hang with friends and enjoy!

We (a party of four) loved our meals, with special mention for the coleslaw! Our server was excellent -- didn't hover but took good care of us. Not sure if it's because we are a large party 10 or more, or what? Our last visit was a Sunday evening in early July . We ate outside. Waiter was good at getting water out to everyone. But when it came to drink orders we must have waited 15-20 minutes for him to take our drink orders. I had to ask him to take my appetizer order. We had to ask several times for our drinks - soft drinks- not alcoholic. They were not good at cleaning our dirty appetizer plates away after delivering dinner leaving the table crowded. I think what I found most annoying was watching our server and another server standing around while we were waiting for drinks, for order taking, for refills, etc. There was just no attention being paid to us. Maybe the guy was new? Not sure. The restaurant wasn't very busy so that wasn't the excuse. I've heard it's difficult to get good help in the Keys. Cost a lot to live here. Most commute from Homestead. Anyway- good for the food - don't expect great service. Ironically I did over tip. I was a server in college so I try to be generous.

At the recommendation of friends, our Day 1 Supper was at Mrs. Mac's Kitchen II (also called Mrs…read more Mac's Kitchen (Big) on Google Maps). Having arrived at 4:30pm, we were immediately shown to a table and informed about the happy hour specials. Not normally ones to drink much on vacation, my wife and I instead opted to live in the moment and enjoy the island life, especially since it was 30 degrees when we left Ohio that morning. As such, we each ordered a rum punch (pictured), while my best friend ordered a Bulliet old fashioned and his wife a house margarita. With drink orders out of the way, Deja, our absolutely delightful waitress, took our food orders: sauteed seafood combo (for my wife), backyard BBQ burger with coleslaw (for me), burger and fries (for my BFF and his wife, who -unlike us- were smart enough to save room for dessert). While waiting for our meals, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, and wow was there a lot to take in! First off, we loved how the old Pizza Hut building had been repurposed and transformed into the embodiment of the tropical island lifestyle. From the display tables showcasing seashells and historic Florida Keys photos, to the license plate light fixtures, to the ceiling-mounted blue sky and clouds panels, to the fish hanging in front of each distinctively Pizza Hut trapezoidal window, we loved it all! When our food arrived, it looked fantastic and tasted even better. My wife described her seafood combo as being excellent, with the Caribbean lobster "almost as good as the ones we get in Maine." Likewise, her fish was fresh and delicious, while the shrimp were succulent. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was topped with expertly caramelized onions and bacon with just the right amount of crispness to it. My coleslaw side was also excellent, with the perfect balance of creaminess and zing. Our friends also said their burger and shoestring fries were fantastic. To round out our meal, each of the four of us ordered pieces of Key Lime Pie, which was some of the best I have ever had in my life (and I have eaten a lot of Key Lime Pies!)! Throughout our meal, Deja checked on us often without being overbearing, and kept the drinks flowing. All told, for 5 drinks, 3 entrées with sides, and 4 slices of Key Lime Pie, our bill before tax, tip, and credit card surcharge was $163.93. Considering the excellent food and outstanding service we received, the four of us universally agreed it was well worth the price! Pros: outstanding service, fantastic flavours, great atmosphere, and the 2-for-1 drinks during happy hour were a great deal! Cons: none! Overall we rate Mrs. Mac's Kitchen as being Excellent and cannot wait to go back!
