First disclaimer that you cannot dine at this restaurant unless you are a member or with a member of Ocean Reef Club. Just an FYI based on Yelp feedback. We have eaten at this restaurant several times before when visiting ORC but had never been able to get the pizza. We booked our reservations several weeks in advance for our visit and Valentine's night. The bread basket is always delicious. Lots of choices along with nice butter and a dipping oil. We ordered a few adult beverages to enjoy with the bread and the evening was off to a great start. I knew I wanted margarita pizza and stuck to my plan. It was really good. Hubby had a small salad and a small spaghetti dish for his dinner. He liked both. We do like that they offer smaller size pasta dishes especially if you are having a salad or appetizer. Their fare is Italian but a bit higher end. You can sit outside or dine in the lovely dining room. We were able to get a window seat inside overlooking the Marina which was so nice. I chose a dessert martini instead of a food dessert and it was delicious!!! Salted Nutella martini will make you very happy. Sinful. Reservations suggestions. Enjoy. read more

Great for dinner and breakfast. My boyfriend and I celebrated my birthday dinner here and were very pleased. The service is superb and food very yummy. We sat by the window while the sun was setting and had a beautiful view of the water. We ordered the calamari, veal & chicken Alfredo for dinner. We really enjoyed the parmesan butter. Incredible service from our server last night who made perfect recommendations when we couldn't decide what entrees to order. The squash blossom special was light (despite being fried) and layered with flavor. Best meatballs I've had outside of my own kitchen. My husband's favorite dessert of all time, profiteroles, were on the dessert menu and so for him this place is a repeat visit. I avoid garlic and was surprised at how non-garlicky everyone's meals were. A little loud once it got crowded (young kids with families) but we enjoyed ourselves despite this. My wife and I had the best dinner tonight at this Ocean Reef restaurant. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive and the food was even better! I had the veal porterhouse (on special)- absolutely delicious. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had and I also had some soup, which was great. My wife had the chicken parmigiana and it was great (I always get to have her leftovers). Highly recommend! read more

Service was a bit slow however with 17 in our party, 3 different tables, and 3 separate servers. There is some room for improvement. Bread and butter were excellent and could have asked for 2nds and 3rds. Appetizer was spot on, I've ordered the octopus. Entree was a little bit creamy, I've had the squid ink ravioli with crab meat. Liked it here a lot remember you cannot pay with credit card, so you have to be registered at the resort as an owner or in the hotel. Friendly atmosphere attentive service. Food is better than average for the area. Nice wine list and you can eat casually in the bar and bar patio, or in the dining rooms. Nice bar for cocktails and pizza even. Pretty adult. I would have liked to be in the bar without young children however, just me maybe , but the bar area should be adults only for everyone's sake. read more

The best seafood stew I have ever had in my life and I've had a lot of these. This reticular dish had eight different kinds of seafood in it including octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, fish and crab. Incredible. The ambiance was romantic and classy. The waitstaff was attentive and very kind. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, just be warned it is pricey. read more

Gianni's has that country club / yacht club vibe and at the same time feels like a nice welcoming Italian family restaurant. All the food I have enjoyed here has been really good. I stick to the pasta. Pizza looks good too. Beef Pappardelle has been especially good. I like how you can get a smaller portion for like $14. That and a salad is a nice meal and about the right amount unless real hungry. Wine by the glass are ok but could use some work. They have a nice temperature controlled wine dispenser but options are super market brands. I bet they could partner with some vineyards who would love access to Gianni's clientele and serve some really nice stuff. Although it is a high end crowd and I believe you have to be a member or member guest to eat here it doesn't feel stuffy or pretentious. Really pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. Couple important tips- reservations and proper attire a must. You can bring your own wine with a corking fee. read more

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Kat was our server and she was amazing. Everything about our experience was first rate. I was here in a big group and we never wanted for anything. The food was tasty and fresh. I had the lobster with pasta. There were just big, buttery chunks of lobster all over the place. We tried the dessert sampler and I have to say that Key Lime 'pie' was completely out of this world. This place is highly recommended if you get out here! read more

First time to visit the Keys and the first place we chose to have our first meal. Of course, I showed up without reservations, but they squeezed us in immediately. Natalia was our server and she was excellent. Very helpful with the menu as well as wine pairings. My wife had the Papardelle (homemade ribbon pasta with a Bolognese sauce) and she loved it! I had the Gnocchi in a light wine-based garlic sauce with fresh basil. It was heavenly! We sat on the covered deck overlooking the waterway. The light breeze and warm salt air only enhanced the food that much more. We topped off our entrees with a single serving of tiramisu but were so full, we got it to go. It was absolutely wonderful the next morning over coffee. We will be here for the week and already have reservations for two more nights during our stay. I will say, call and check on the dress code depending on the season. It could save you a potentially embarrassing moment with the greeter and a trip back to your room to change. read more

The food was good, the dinner service was good! Kim was our server and did a great job. The issues were with the lounge service! Poor, poor, poor! The tables were NOT bussed and the one cocktail server was running all over the place leaving tables unattended! Her blouse was not tucked in, making her look sloppy! We had to finally go to the bar and order drinks ourselves ! They are not organized and the table busser was just walking around looking like she was unaware of dirty tables. The worst experience ever, i called yesterday afternoon to see if i could celebrate my birthday with my kids and the lady takes my reservation at 8:00 pm for four and after we drove for two hours to get there, i was turn around because it was for members only, they didn't try to fix it or nobody called me to apologize, just turn us around, since was late and far, we couldn't go to a nice restaurant, so we ended at soso restaurant in Florida city. read more

Seriously??? Authentic Italian? Who puts barbecue sauce on grilled Octopus? The Italian sausage tasted more like Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage than home made, dry cured, pork sausage . I am so glad this is where I landed!!! I am from Austin TX and we don't have very much Italian...I'm on vacation so of course I'm using yelp to make sure I have a great time LOL but seriously others experiences are helpful to me... It's a Tuesday at 11 am and I am the first one in the door I must have come in the tourist door on the street because everyone else has come through a door to the parking lot. The server standing immediately cracked a joke "did you have a reservation" I was immediately amused because it's always awkward being the first lunch table. There is a very nice ambiance in here, you can tell the staff all likes their job I don't know if they are managers or owners but they are laughing and joking and having a great time. I also have to compliment my server Denise she was perfect. Some people don't know but serving is an art. You have servers that never come back servers that won't leave you alone food that comes to fast all at one time...that was part of the greatness of my trip here. Everything was timed perfectly. I came to have the mozzarella tomato salad and minestrone soup but when I sat down my favorite dish was the Tuesday Special! SCORE!! Baked ziti! It started with the BeST garlic Parmesan rolls I have ever had in my entire life and that is no joke...followed by a house salad with a wonderful vinaigrette...I actually had time to eat a roll and enjoy my salad before my ziti came out!!! It was amazing it included ice tea which my waitress brought me a carafe of so you can ad your self. It was perfect and not just because it was $10...I cannot believe how great this place is...I wish I lived in FloridA! They are doing it right!!!
