The staff are exquisite and meet every expectation in warmth and service. The restaurant is clean and warmly lit, and the seating is so comfy! We always get the lobster bisque, which used to be served with sherry, which I miss, but it is still amazing all the same. We ordered cocktails and wine which were tasty and a generous pour. We also ordered fresh oysters as a starter and they were top shelf and the server was so knowledgeable about the different origins. The sushi is always fresh and tasty, and the Melanie roll is a personal favorite. The fish and steak entrees were hot and well seasoned. The desserts were also amazing and by the time we were done we were stuffed to the gills. Between the food and staff, it keeps us coming back year after year! I think what I found most annoying was watching our server and another server standing around while we were waiting for drinks, for order taking, for refills, etc. There was just no attention being paid to us. Maybe the guy was new? Not sure. The restaurant wasn't very busy so that wasn't the excuse. I've heard it's difficult to get good help in the Keys. Cost a lot to live here.
