What a night, I just hit some terrible hole on 680 north, blew a giant hole in my tire and was stranded without a spare. Very disappointed in the way my 19 year old son was treated. This morning his car was going to be towed from a bank parking lot after going to Palo Alto Medical because he was very sick, and seen that his car was about to be towed. Yes, he was parked illegally, unknowingly, but he tried to talk to the driver, who was very kind, and the supervisor (while I was on the phone with him), who was very rude, to ask them to please give him a break. They wanted to charge him $471.00, but said if you give me cash I will drop it to $217.00. Eventually I talked to the supervisor and he continued with the attitude, telling me he is not going to give a high school student a break, he gets the same price everyone gets. In the end my son paid $150.00 cash, to avoid further issues, that a teenager does not need to deal with. To bad they need to treat people that way, there were also other cars being towed as well He was not offered a receipt either, but I plan on getting on, or at least am going to try. Luckily he got a picture of the truck and the supervisor.
