Mold on the berries. A frequent occurrence there.

You must examine everything you buy. The prices are good but I often find moldy berries in their refrigerated case.

Great place to get vegetables and fruit and not pay a fortune. Also buy one get one free sushi in the evenings - at least when I got there Mondays at 6 , it was every time. Great selection of dairy, cheese, meat and fresh fish. Bakery, flower shop - everything there. Love this place.

I had been meaning to visit this store for the longest time and finally had a chance to this past weekend. This spot goes beyond just offering fruits and vegetables, there's so many packaged goods that you could easily find any of the necessities or treats you may want. The produce section was definitely impressive, especially given the amount of fruits they carry. The prices were really great and naturally, I ended up loading my basket with several things before I knew what was happening. They also carry some unique packaged items that you can't find at standard supermarkets. They also had a small pastry selection with gluten-free treats available, which was really cool.

    Very Cheap Blueberries

I have been to the Oakland farmers market which I think is owned by the same people and this is much better and bigger, I mean based on my sole experience yesterday with the 99 Cent blueberries which are usually 4-6 dollars at stop and shop this place is well worth it and way cheaper for your produce needs , but even more they have a butcher/ deli and a designated Colombian and Mexican empanada station and a hot food/ salad buffet section with a decent selection , I found no issues with cleanliness so maybe they've found they're stride. I've had nothing but disaster in the produce section of every major supermarket I have been to because of so called "supply issues". If you need that abstract fruit, veggie or herb you've been looking for im pretty sure these guys will have it!

This farmers market is so awesome, it's right in our neighborhood and it is so accessible. The prices are usually very reasonable, they also tend to have sale on vegetables and fruits in the dollar do you section which is a steal

Be careful when you choose items overall. They take their sweet time taking expired products off the shelves if ever.

I'm excited to bring my son here for his first pumpkin picking experience in a few months! Year round, they have the best apple cider donuts. Yet the county has a rich history in farming and agriculture from the late 1600s up into the 1970s. The small farms in north Jersey do more than just provide fruits and vegetables for our tables. They are open-air classrooms to our agricultural past, places to buy fresh produce and baked goods to support local family farm stores, and places for interesting special events and outings for families. Being the first Saturday after Labor Day, my partner and I got a head start on the apple cider donuts made fresh daily, just oozing with apple cidery goodness and never hot. Since 1973, located on Airmont Avenue in Mahwah, Secor Farms is a reminder of Bergen County's rural past and one of the last farms left in the area, passed down through three generations. Upon arrival in the afternoon, parking was not an issue with only a handful of vehicles. However, the farm comes alive starting Sept 15 with a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and a petting zoo where reservations are required, with all sorts of activities. Their outside garden centers had pumpkins, gourds, fall decorations, and mums for purchase. We went inside their marketplace full of produce and managed to get a bag of mixed apple cider donuts and a quart of apple cider. These baked donuts have the sweet tartness of apple cider with a coating of cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. They were soft, moist, tender, and tastefully delicious. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly. We can recommend this place.
