Ok but this place was amazing. Nothing beats a fun night out.. (on a weekday) like this place. First off, the staff is super cool!!! They were so friendly and efficient. Shoutout to the gals and bartender for making this experience memorable. I am from out of town and there is nothing like this place down in FL. So, if you're ever in Houston this place is great for late night bites and good drinks!! I really enjoyed the HANOI beer, they always have great specials. You cannot beat a dozen osyters for $16... that is a steal and they were big and delish. I am still dreaming about them till this day. We also had oyster shooters (yum$8 each but acquired taste). The food is really good and came out pretty fast, I think good food for drinking. The oysters were really good and clean. The balut was also really good here, if you are into it. The squid and mango is my dads favorite and has nice cuts of mango. The lâu had a really nice sweet sour flavor and the seafood in it was really good. It was really nice since it was getting a little chilly at night! The servers were also all so nice and attentive if we needed anything. Frequently coming to check with us. Have been multiple times and generally have had great experiences. On Friday and the weekend it does get very busy and loud, but that's to be expected. Parking can be rough on those days. The service has always been good and the food is solid! The drinks are actually top notch and we come here specifically for some of the unique cocktails they offer. This spot is okay to have a couple of drinks with your friends. They have a good amount of unique alcoholic beverages and if you're hungry there are some bites that you can enjoy while you're drinking. The food they have has an Asian twist to it. It's still your average bar food so don't expect to be impressed on the quality of your dishes. They have appetizers such as oysters, clams, chicken feet (which I don't recommend). They also have soup, hot pot & sushi. To be on the safe side I usually order their hot wings & curly fries. Their wings with fish sauce & black pepper had an interesting taste to it. Sweet, savory and they were sticky. For my drink I forgot the name, but it tasted like cappuccino with liquor in it. It's a pretty dangerous drink because it's sweet and you don't really taste any alcohol but a couple of those will have you pretty lit. The service from most of the servers was just okay but they have one bartender who was really kind and helpful. My friend ordered the bubbly pineapple & I was intrigued with how they made the drink. Overall, it was okay. It wasn't the best but not the worst either. I usually get here a little early because once it hits 10pm, the place is packed and extremely loud and it feels like you're at a club. Will I come back? My friend and I had tea at a shop around the corner but we weren't quite ready to go home when they closed so we found this bar in the same shopping strip that stayed open until 2AM. Upon entry, it was very spacious, pretty clean and had a DJ playing. The DJ played a mix of like hop hop (a lot of 2000's era) and we heard reggae ton. It wasn't super crowded so you could sit anywhere but we chose to sit at the bar. The bartenders were all so friendly and very attentive and kept checking on us frequently. I noticed that they had bottle specials for like $100 which is probably better than many other bars in Houston if you wanted to do bottle service. We ordered the $5 shots of crown and I got a Martel confetti while my friend got the peach drink (I forgot the name). My friend ordered these loaded fries that came with this sauce, crab meat and fish eggs I believe it was called. It basically looked like a lot of the stuff that you would put on sushi but on fries. It was just okay. Like it was missing some extra flavor for me. My friends and I came here after dinner as we have been wanting to try their watermelon soju for a while now. It was average at best. We didn't taste much soju and it tasted like lukewarm watermelon juice. Personally, I enjoy other variations of watermelon soju where it's more slushy-like and sweeter. So if you want somewhere in Chinatown with sexy dancers and DJs and all the alcohol you can shake a proverbial stick at (although shake it in the bathroom, not in public, you get arrested for that these days), all the Asian hotties, all the nice bodies that you can imagine, then pick your jaw off the floor because this is the place for you. It's the heartbeat of the Chinatown nightlife, it's Midtown/Washington Corridor but with an Asian flavour, especially when you consider that next door is Tea Top the Boba shop, although this is more like Teat Top in here. There's Sharetea and the new TKK and Yumcha, all are very close by, and a Fufu restaurant as well, so here at DH (Dun Huang Plaza) you can't really go wrong. Oh and the waitresses are spectacular and hard working and friendly too, as well as being ridic attractive. We've been in here on a number of occasions and they're friendly and they're great and it's a wild time. Even the owners of KFT up at 99 Ranch and KFT Pearland come here and they're great people too. Came in here randomly and last minute looking for something that was open late and somewhere I had not been before. I also wanted it to be within a 20 min range. It was so packed. The waitress informed me that it was Chinese New Year and they had an event. Most of the tables were reserved, but the bar was open. The bar was packed too. The waitress was nice and said she would put my name on a waitlist. While I was waiting on my "date" to arrive, 2 seats became available at the bar. I started off with one of their margaritas and listened to the music being played. Most of it was hip hop, which I enjoyed. Once my date arrived I tried an old fashion. I preferred the old fashion. I was not sure what to order since I was not very hungry. I decided on wings and asked the bartender what flavor. He recommend tossing the wings in the sauce they use for their chicken feet. It was spicy and delicious. My date had the fried rice and it was good as well. The portion sizes were generous. As we were almost done eating the show began. With a dj and a dancer there was not a dual moment. Service was quick and they were pretty pack, but we got our drinks and food in a timely manner, she also came back and check on us multiple times. My friend ordered the Kiwi Breeze and something that had a name like Brazilian Lemonade. Came here to watch Monday Night Football and it had a few customers (not busy). My friends and I sat at the bar and had great service until we finished eating (there were guys drinking more than us and the opposite end of the bar so they got all the attention the rest of the night). Beers were only $5 which was awesome. We all got the bbq pork plate ($14) and it was a lot of food. I've walked past here so many times and never went in but I'm glad I tried it out.
