My poor little cavapoo got ringworm from this groomer. They did not own up to anything. My dog has not been in contact with any other pets or humans other than our family (all ringworm free) and developed the outbreak 2 days after her grooming (11/19/22). I'm guessing it was either infected tools or an infected crate she was placed in. Yuck!

This is such a find! Have taken our golden doodle here 4-5 times so far. Each time they do a great job and never have needed to shave him. Last time, I showed up on the wrong day. They still took him and returned him looking like a fluffy polar bear! Everyone is nice and personable. Support this local business!

Hannah at Gidget's has been grooming my dogs for over 3 years and she is fantastic with them. I always get compliments and she treats them so well. I see them when I come in early getting groomed still and they are relaxed and Hannah is so sweet to them. My schnauzer always had the most handsome cut and my Maltese gets such an adorable puppy cut.

We have two Pomeranians, and have lived in 4 different states, so we are no strangers to groomers. We used to go to another groomer in Denver, but it was impossible to get an appointment-- I would have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks until they could pencil me in or stand around my phone for a cancellation that never happened = no thanks!!! Not at Gidgets! Our groomer Chris is awesome, they are always able to fit us in next day or same day, and the prices are very reasonable. No more waiting 3 weeks and paying an arm and a leg and the blood of my unborn first child!!!! I know grooming my 13 year old grumpy Pomeranian and very vocal hyper puppy isn't easy, but they both always walk in happy, gorgeous and smelling amazing. We love Gidget's & Chris!

I decided to try this groomer based on their great reviews and the fact they do cats too. They are cheaper than my previous groomer so I decided to give them a try. Now they might be great at grooming dogs (??) but they have no clue what they are doing when it comes to grooming cats. To begin this place is beyond dirty. Hair and dust everywhere and furniture that's falling apart (take a look at the pictures, and thats only one corner of the place). They only have a small grooming area in the back and they already had two huge St. Bernard's back there. I was scared for my cat, but was assured he'd be fine as they co groom them all the time and that when cats are done they put them separately in the kitchen. Come again??? I wanted to run out of this place and take my cat elsewhere but it's hot and he needed a shave down and it took a week to get this appointment. I requested a lion cut and I went over the details with a groomer, she was nice and explained everything in great detail. When I go back a couple hours later to pick him up I receive a ratty Persian with dirty eyes, clipper marks, and super uneven mane, Mohawk and Booties. He smelled the same going in than out. Later at home upon inspection he had cuts everywhere and his nipples were all cut. Groomer says it was hard to shave him because he's really old and has saggy skin. Umm he's 6. Seemed like a cop out for the terrible job. I ask for them to clean him up and the groomer was nice and took him back and worked on him again. It was slightly less bad and I didn't feel like arguing then so I left. It was an absolute waste of $70 dollars. Stay away from this dirty subpar place. I'll stick to my usual groomer and pay $20 more for a perfect looking and smelling cat. (Note I attached more photos of how terrible and dirty and hurt they left my cat!!)

I love this place. Recently moved to Aurora, and still drive to see our groomer Sarah. The staff is super friendly and reasonably priced. They let the pups run free in the back instead of locking them up like the big chains. Plus- once your assigned to a groomer, they stay with your pet for each appointment.

I take my poochie, one-eyed Jack, to Gidgets going on 4 years now. I have had various groomers and various cuts on my Pomeranian/chihuahua mix- we mix up his style and clip but he always comes back clean, smelling good, rocking a bandana. As he is a rescue, I always let them know he is potentially volatile with other dogs, and may be a little nervous with people too. It has never been a problem and they are always really good with him and accepting of the problem child nature. I appreciate that! My last grooming was with Brittney and she was super concerned to get his clip just right! I got an appointment the same day and he was in and out in 2 hours- looking good, happy. Almost proud of his new look- Brittney did something genius! I have always been happy with my service, and Jack always comes out so transformed and happy. I am pleased with Gidgets!

Also, when my German shepherd of late passed away unexpectedly, the staff at Gidget's mailed a thoughtful card.

The Sunday I went there was lots of parking in front and along the side streets. The facility itself seemed to need some attention & upkeep - the front glass window was cracked & the inside lobby looked a bit disorganized. In addition, customers are not allowed to tour the facility. As with most boarding places, all dogs need to have an evaluation before a reservation can be made. At this facility dogs have daycare with boarding. There is no charge for the evaluation. I made my evaluation time for drop off at 10am & pick up at 2pm on a Sunday. Thank goodness I received a reminder text the morning of because the text also said the lobby is closed from 10-4pm on Sundays. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. I would have been very disappointed had I gotten there & it was closed. I did call & they asked if I could be there a little early & someone would be in the lobby for pickup at 2pm. I was not happy at pickup when I discovered poop all over one side, by the ear & neck on one of my dogs. The employee was surprised & apologetic, he took her in the back & gave her a bath. The employee was very friendly & personable. At Woof & Boots he said they try to be accommodating & flexible. For example, if some dogs like people more (than dogs) they allow them to hang out with the staff in the lobby, which is gated. They also offer the Bordetella Vaccine for $35 & provide a First Day Report Card with picture of your dog(s).

They even called me about it and I said "you can cut her shorter, but please don't shave her." She shaved her. I even emailed pics of her previous cuts there for inspo. I would have rather gotten her back as is than to have them shave her like it's 100° out. Her chest is bald in spots. Her legs and beard are uneven. I'm honestly speechless. I go to Barks on Broadway to have her washed every 3-4 weeks and they do a complete blowout on her with no issues for 3 years now, but she was "too matted" to brush out (for full clarity she was a more matted, but nothing to warrant this level of shave). If you have a doodle, I would not take her to this groomer. Same review left on Google

My dog, Buddy, had been groomed by Valerie at Luke & Company for more than four years. Valerie knew Buddy well, and for years I trusted her to care for him. Sadly, Buddy was recently diagnosed with cancer and passed away just a week ago. It took me some time to finally work up the nerve to call Luke & Co. because I wanted Valerie to know that Buddy had passed. When I called, I was shocked to be told that they could not find any record of Buddy or me as clients after more than four years of nail trimming appointments. I asked for Valerie and was told she wasn't available, so I left a message for her to call me back. The next day, I didn't receive a response so I called again. During that conversation, I was told by the manager, Annie, that I was "not a good fit" for Luke & Co. anymore. (WHAT) Considering why I was calling, that response was incredibly hurtful. My dog had died. There was no future grooming relationship to end. I wasn't calling to make an appointment or ask for anything from the business. I was trying to tell the person who had groomed and cared for Buddy for four years that he was gone. I also struggle to understand how there was supposedly no record of us being clients, yet I could simultaneously be told that I was no longer a good fit for them. I understand that businesses have the right to decide who they want as clients. But after four years of bringing Buddy here, I expected some basic respect and understanding, and I received a door slammed in my face. I simply hoped that after four years, someone might acknowledge some basic compassion and I know Valerie cared about Buddy. (I wouldn't be surprised if they still didn't tell her). Whatever positive experiences I had over those four years with Valerie are unfortunately overshadowed by how I was treated at the very end. Being made to feel dismissed by a business that had cared for him for years made an already painful situation worse.
