I've been seeing Coco since Sept. 2022 and she has been an integral part of my healing. I wouldn't…read morebe where I am today if it wasn't for her. I've been to every specialist and gotten various diagnostic testing done for 10+ years and no one was able to figure out what was going on. I kept hearing "it's stress" and I was diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia. I became chronically depressed thinking I would forever stay housebound and bedridden, but Coco helped me heal. I'm forever indebted to her. I had tried various alternative treatments and nothing worked quite as well as TCM. In sheer desperation, I tried acupuncture and WOW I'm a believer. When I first saw Coco, I was taking 15 supplements and 12 medications. Now, I only take a daily vitamin and 1 medicine. My neurologist who I've seen for 3 years has noticed a huge difference in me and recommended I continue acupuncture and Coco's lifestyle advice. Since day one, Coco has been very honest - I have a very weak immune system and it will take years to heal. I completely agree with her assessment. My body has been in chronic pain and stress my entire life. But because of the major improvements I've seen in my health, I'm hopeful I can recover. I appreciate her sweet, friendly, and positive attitude. It's very easy scheduling with her via text as she responds quickly. Her rooms and the building are always clean and the women at the front desk are very friendly. She loves what she does and is excited to share ways how her clients can heal and better their lives. She encouraged me to save money by introducing me cupping and other pain relief techniques that I'm able to do at home. If I have issues in between my sessions, I can text her and she'll give me advice. There have been moments where I've been extremely stressed/sad about my personal life, and acupuncture has provided an emotional release. I always leave Coco's feeling so much physically and emotionally lighter. Since seeing Coco, I haven't had a panic attack and I've been able to manage my depression a lot better. My GI issues, eczema and blood circulation has greatly improved (see photos). I'm no longer housebound or use a cane. I have a lot more energy, focus, and have better sleep (no more nightmares). No vertigo, hot flashes, numbing/stabbing/tingling pain, or migraines. I can't believe the amazing results I've had. The most important thing is you must make the lifestyle changes and be consistent to see the best results. They're very simple changes you can do at home for free or low-cost. For example, drinking warm water vs cold water, managing stress, getting better sleep, eating healthier (she'll tell you which foods to eat or avoid). Most of the symptoms are completely gone and the ones I'm still working on are 80% better. MY PREVIOUS SYMPTOMS: - Severe GI issues. Diarrhea 4-6 times a day - Monthly cold sores - Eczema w/ blisters. Completely gone with minor scarring. - Chronic fatigue. I felt like my body weighed 500 lbs. I stopped working for 3 years and slept 14-18 hours a day. The smallest task was exhausting & I needed assistance. - Painful acne all over my face, neck, chest, arms, and back. - Painful & heavy periods for 9-10 days. - Debilitating migraines. - Hair loss on my scalp and eyebrows - Vertigo every day. I couldn't bend down at all without falling. - Chronic depression, anxiety, severe mood swings, and panic attacks. Sometimes I would black out. - Random arm and leg spams. Legs felt very weak and unstable. - Sleep disturbance. Daily nightmares & night sweats. - Major brain fog / cognitive issues. - Burning sensations on back, arms, and legs - Numbing, "stabbing pain", and tingling on my arms and legs. - Daily hot flashes. - Widespread chronic muscle and joint pain. A pain I have never ever experienced in my life. I would get "crashes" where I would wake up and my body was stiff, and I was paralyzed in pain. Every joint felt like it was brittle, and a sledgehammer was hitting them. I felt every single muscle in excoriating pain. I would scream because I couldn't move an inch due to the pain being so intense. It was the scariest thing I've ever experienced. - Constant cold hands and feet. Everyone said my body felt like it was "freezing". My hands would get blue and bright red veins. No one could explain why I suddenly had lack of blood circulation.

I just got my adjustments to my neck and back from Dr. Mireles. He's great at what he does!! I feel…read moregreat and have less tension in my neck. I've noticed less headaches too!! I'll be back next week.

I was referred by my doctor to this Chiropractor at the 281 North location…read more My experience with them is two fold. First let me say that the secretary and Doctor Grimm were very courteous upon visiting and Dr. Grimm seemed very knowledgeable . However upon my initial visit I submitted my insurance to them and on my initial visit I was charged around $97 which seemed high, yet I expected it to be as they needed to do xrays. I did inquire how much the next session would be and expressed that the price was a bit steep and I was told the next visit would be around$67. My next visit was a bit alarming as in the visit Dr.Grimm seemed to be over marketing me a plan to get well in which I would need to come 5 days one week, 4 days the next, 3 days, another 3 days, and then two days all within a months time frame. They informed me I would receive a discounted rate of $57 per visit, which is still a tremendous amount of money. At this point my suspicion is raised and when I cashed out with the secretary the bill is around $102, and I stated how it was said to be around $67. She stated that they needed to do physical therapy so that was an added cost. i.e they put shock pads on my back for about 15 min and that was all, so Im not sure how that made the jump from $67 to $102. I asked for a receipt and what she gives me has no details, rather only the amount of $102. A week later I receive two bills from my insurance provider. The first showing the total charges for my first visit was $345. Breakdown of the cost: Medical Visit: $140 Manipulation: $40 X-ray: $65 X-ray: $75 Physio Therapy: $25 Cost for second visit: $185 Breakdown of cost: Medical visit: $75 Manipulation: $65 Pyhsio Therapy: $5 Physio Therapy: $15 Physio: $25 First take notice of the medical visit charge... what in the world is this high amount for?? Second notice the variance in the charge amount for the manipulation from the first and second visit. Very strange... Last what are all these physio therapy charges on each. The only physical therapy these people performed was on the second visit that was shock pads for 15 min. In conclusion I called many chiropractors all over San Antonio and most charge around $70 for initial including the x-rays and every following visit is between $40- $60 However I found a place by the name of the Joint and the cost is $49 a month that includes 4 adjustments. Keep in mind they don't do x-rays, however I have gone for 5 adjustments so far and they have done an incredible job. In regards to Mission Chiropractic this is a shameful practice and I have disputed this through my insurance. I would never tell anyone not to use a place of business as ultimately it is your decision, and I simply thought it is important to make people aware.
