I would definitely avoid Jazz Bouquet Floral for your wedding. Kim made our life infinitely harder…read more Here are just a few of our issues: - She didn't listening to what we discussed at all needing reiteration of the same information repeatedly. - She sent an agreement with flowers that were completely different than the ones we previously agreed to. Again needing reiterations and adding to our wedding planning stress. - The bridal bouquet included orchids that were not bloomed. What is the point of including flowers that hadn't bloomed yet? We will never know. - The floral arch we spent thousands on had a gaping hole (i.e. an area in the literal middle of the arch with no flowers or greenery whatsoever). I ask again what is the point of having a floral arch without flowers? We will never know. The list goes on and on. If you care about your floral arrangements at all and would like to avoid getting ripped off, I would absolutely stay away from this company. I feel nothing but regret for hiring them.

The gentleman that helped me was so kind & helpful especially with my last minute request. Thank you again!

We saw a vacant space, so we grabbed it. It was right in front of a cool little art shop called Sedona's Tree House. Poking your head through the door is enjoyable in and of itself. It's as if you've met up with the Ents of Fangorn Forest (The Hobbit) and have been carried into a magical treehouse dream, with a giant tree climbing up through the middle of the shop. The shelves are cleverly designed from beautifully rough cut and masterfully finished planks held up in some cases with what seem to be branches growing out from under them. Hand crafted Kokopelli wind chimes, nature inspired table and wall art, and various artsy knickknacks of all sorts are beautifully displayed throughout this cozy little treehouse-themed shop. We ended up buying a beautiful sun-themed wind chime for only $25 that we're looking forward to putting up in our courtyard when we get home!

After visiting the Pink Jeep tour, we headed over and immediately loved the vibe. The restaurant has a funky, eclectic feel that's full of personality, and we ended up sitting outside on the back patio, which was such a great atmosphere. It felt relaxed and distinctly Sedona. I'll address something that may be helpful for other travelers. As we were leaving, a group of women mentioned to us that they had experienced some prejudice during their visit. As a Black couple, that naturally gave us pause and stayed in the back of our minds while we were there. That said, I can only speak to our own experience, and throughout our visit we felt welcomed, comfortable, well-served, and completely taken care of. We saw a diverse mix of guests and staff, and everyone we interacted with was kind. I mention it only because I know other travelers may be looking for that perspective when researching places to visit when from out of town. Now for the food. The fresh-baked biscuits were massive and absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the coffee, and I have to mention the mugs because they were surprisingly cute and added to the charm of the experience. Of course, the real star here is the omelet menu. There are over 100 omelets to choose from, and as people who love a good omelet, we were in heaven. Our meals were excellent, and honestly, I wish we'd had more time in Sedona because I would have happily come back to work my way through several more options. When a restaurant specializes in something and does it well, I usually stick to what they're known for. Between the unique atmosphere, great coffee, giant biscuits, and seemingly endless omelet choices, The Coffee Pot ended up being one of our favorite breakfast stops in Sedona. If we ever make it back, it's definitely on the return list.

I am pretty pissed off about the flowers that Events by show stoppers made for my wedding last…read moreweekend. Having worked in the floral design industry, I know a lot about flowers and what goes into wedding flowers, this place is awful. In advance, I spoke with both Ken and Jim via email. Both were rather snooty for lack of a better term, and made it difficult to work with. They require a non-refundable deposit before you can even have a consultation to discuss what you want (to see if they are the right place for you.) I should have seen this as the first red flag. Because I have been in the industry I wanted to make it relatively easy for the designers and let them use their own creativity, after all when you let someone who knows what their doing be creative is when you end up with the best stuff! Well, not this time. I sent a few pictures of the style wedding bouquet I wanted, and gave them a colors of the wedding (plum and wine). I gave them a list of the types of flowers that I like (for reference) and said please use your best judgement- allowing them to choose the best stuff to put in based on their experience, floral availability, and their creativity. There were only three things that I said I absolutely did not want and guess what, I got all three of those things. I got: 1. a tightly packed mass of flowers instead of a very loose, wide, open bouquet. 2. THE WRONG COLORS. Plum and wine are warm purples, what I got was a super bright lavender and nearly black dark purple with white. No plum, no wine shades. 3. One of the only two flowers I specifically said not to use was calla lilies. they filled the bouquets with deep purple (nearly black) callas. Then there was the flowers for the other people... the boutonnieres for all of the men and the corsages for the mothers. They were all white. There wasn't an ounce of plum or wine in them at all. I would never recommend these people for any event. I went out of my way to make sure that because I used to be a floral designer I didn't micro-manage and become a floral bridezilla, but apparently that doesn't work with these people. It doesn't seem to matter what colors your wedding are, they choose the flowers and colors they want, not what they agree to or know the event colors are. Lastly, adding insult to injury is the price. HOLY SHIT! They are outrageous! Don't waste your time or money. Go somewhere, ANYWHERE else. RUN! No one should pay this much money for two bouquets, and a few corsages and boutonnieres, let alone to be treated with a snooty holier-than-thou attitude from Ken or Jim when they deign to get in touch.
