Awesome Pizza, very friendly husband wife team in a quiet atmosphere. If they aren't careful they are going to be over run by pizza purists. It's just Pizza right? NOPE. Absolutely the best Pizza in Vero and possibly most of the state. I was looking for pizza because that's what I wanted, but I wanted pizza that was highly rated in the area. I'm fine with sampling different restaurants because I travel away from home more than 70% of the year. Sometimes I want ambience and other times I'm going strictly for the food. Tonight was one of those times that I wanted what was considered to be the best pizza in Vero Beach and I found it, I truly found it. There's a reason why they are already number one in Yelp when you search for pizza in Vero Beach. This unassuming location in a strip plaza at the far end may make some hesitant. It's a small, quiet place Let me tell you something I've been to some of the best areas and worst areas, areas with bars on the windows, gunshots, police, cars, and helicopter circling the restaurants. And I tell you from personal experience some of those places can turn out the best food experiences you'll ever have. I'm pleased to say this is not a dangerous area, instead it's a quiet area just off the interstate on 60. I ordered a small 10" mushroom pizza and a coke. The smell, the taste and crunch of the crust demands many returns. You can attempt finding pizza at several of the locations in the area or we can stop wasting your time and come here. Reviews sometimes are exaggerated, but I'm telling you right now as much of an exaggeration as this may seem, I put this pizza up against anything in the area. You tell him that Captain big daddy sent you and that you're there to try their pizza. By the way, they do serve other things and on my next visit. I am going to get a pizza and I am going to get a sandwich and I know that I'm gonna be taking food home with me. Give these folks a try and make sure you tell your friends. It might very well be the best kept pizzeria in the area! read more

Open only a couple weeks, this place was hopping. We stopped in at 4:30, and it got busy shortly…read moreafter. There are not a lot of tables, and the kitchen and staff are still learning, but the food was good. The open air kitchen is very clean and was bustling. This place is fresh and modern with airy, high ceilings and a bright interior. They haven't gotten timing down yet, so appetizers came out after the entrees, but the broth in the Shrimp Pho was delicious, and the Egg Rolls were crispy and yummy. The Pho came with 6 shrimp and the usual condiments of basil, bean sprouts and jalapeño on the side. Portion sizes for the appetizers were definitely shareable. The chicken wings were a bit surprising as we expected grilled wings in a sauce, per the large picture on the kitchen wall. When a plate of fried wings appeared, it was not what we thought we ordered, as we don't usually eat fried food. But it turns out the breading was very light and super crispy, so they were good. We found out later that they have 4 types to choose from. The one overworked server had forgotten to mention that. No harm no fowl. They were still good, and with all the other food, too much to finish. We'll be back again soon to try some of the other dishes.
