Surprisingly great pizza at a gas station convenience store. We ordered a large pie with meatballs and eggplant. It was loaded with the yummy toppings. This hidden gem is tucked behind cases and cases of beer inside the shop at a Sunoco station just off I 95 at the Vero Beach exit. If I lived in the area I'd take out from them often. Alas...it is 2 hours from my home. I'd recommend take out, if you live nearby. The ambiance is that of a gas station convenience store. They serve lunch inside. Dinner is take out only at this time. This is a gem on the west side of Vero--inside the convenience store. Good dough. Thin, but substantial. Not too many, but tasty toppings. I like a pizza that gets its flavor from the crust, cheese, and sauce with toppings as the "icing on the cake." Got mine to go. It warmed up nicely. read more

A few weeks ago, my son graduated from high school. We had Davila's (on Oslo Rd.) cater the food and everything was amazing from the customer service from the owner, Chris, to the delicious & plentiful food (he delivered in a torrential downpour of rain), to the very reasonable prices! We ordered for 30 people: baked ziti, chicken parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana and still had so much leftover! Everyone kept complimenting how delicious the food was & how tender the chicken was! I'm not normally an overly-cheesy person, but I didn't complain that this sandwich came with a heap of melted mozzarella atop hot marinara and fresh eggplant. The bread was soft, and was similar to a bread roll you'd get at a local grocery store. The sub came with a side of fries. Normally when my family gets takeout, the fries are cold and soggy by the time they get home. This was not the case this time. On a road trip and was looking for an Italian sub. Didn't realize this was in a gas station. But much to my surprise the sub was great! I've given this place a couple chances to earn my frequent repeat business, but they failed miserably both times. The first time I ordered a pizza to go, and I ordered double mushrooms. BIG mistake. They use mushrooms from a can - disgusting. Now, I'm on a carnivore diet, so I ordered one of the "best burgers" to go. I called the order in at 11:59am and was told 15 - 20 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes later, paid and tipped, and was told that they would bring it out when it was ready. At 12:45, with no update and no communication, I left the establishment and sought nourishment elsewhere. I'll never go back, and I don't recommend that you do either. read more

Ordered 2 xl pizzas for dinner, take out, on 9/11/23. Picked up and got them home in 5 minutes. Tried to eat with my family, but we couldn't, as the pizzas were not just well cooked, but literally burned on the bottom. The flavor of the ingredients was also poor at best. When we returned them, I was told to get my money back, I would have to come back in the morning and see the manager. When i returned to see the manager, of course no manager there. What is with the soggy crust? It's awful. Is the oven not hot enough? A new person cooking? Mushrooms from a can? Yuck. Why does the sausage have no flavor? Is Vero Beach a town that thinks olive oil is spicy? The burger we ordered was just ground beef. No seasonings on it whatsoever. We had to use garlic and pepper in order to even eat it. One of the best places to trust for a good pizza in Vero Beach. I have only gone to their Sunoco location on rt60 and I can say they are a safe and good go-to if you're passing exit 147 on I95 or live on the west side of town. Haven't tried anything else yet but their pizza and garlic knots! Pizza is very good and well done with toppings (unlike some places, cough* South Beach Pizza), and the knots are garlicky! I would say average knots, similar to Goodfella's. The service is fairly paced and kind. The ambiance is nothing romantic or formal, but being that they are inside Sunoco, they still carry a classic homey hole-in-the-wall small family business vibe as they have a great space rented enough to seat I'd say more than 10 tables for people and have a wall of stock products to divide / hide the scene of the Sunoco's business happening beyond it. I was recommended to this pizza restaurant by a couple I met named Cheyenne and ivan, who work there. During July i drove about thirty miles And found that it's Located In a gas station store but I was excited to try this highly recommended place. I'm a connoisseur of Pizza and all italian food. The pizza came hot but was too overcooked, hardly any sauce and i wasn't crazy about the overall texture of the crust. I did like the extra cheese on it but with the lack of sauce and overcooked, i can't recommend it. I called the lady and told her my views. Cheyenne was very polite, she feIt bad and told me that the "Regular Pizza Maker" wasn't working that day. And i said, thanks for telling me after i drove 30 miles. But i said i would try it again in a couple months. So on Sept 6th i contacted Cheyenne because i was craving pizza and i wanted to inquire if the regular pizza maker was working? She told me her and Ivan "Do Not Work at Davilla's Anymore!" She didn't tell me the reason but i'm not going back there because 1.) Cheyenne and Ivan don't recommend Davilas anymore. 2.) I wasn't happy with the food the first time! There are plenty other great pizza places and Italian restaurants to go to instead. read more

The food here was really good. We had a couple salads. The BBQ chicken salad and the raspberry salad with add on chicken. The Portions were generous and everything was super fresh. The BBQ salad was really good but they put a lot of BBQ sauce on it so next time I'll probably ask for it on the side and add it to my liking. The cranberries walnut raspberry salad was really good. I added chicken which was super fresh and grilled. Very tasty. Lots of raspberry vinaigrette but this one comes on the side so I only added 1/4 of it. The only thing I thought is that the brown sugar coated pecans were too sweet. Along with the cranberries and the raspberry it ends up being a lot of sugar. So I left most of the pecans and the cranberries. Next time I'll probably order them with no pecans. Garlic rolls and onion rings were superb! Definitely recommended. Definitely will come back.
