This is a solid little pizza joint! We came by on a Saturday night around 6:30ish and man was this place bustling and busy! We walked in, we were greeted and seated, and our waitress was quite nice. I enjoyed a Sailfish IPA and we ordered some angel hair onion rings. Super thin onions crispy and fried to perfection and served with a creamy garlic dipping sauce are addicting! Dangerously delicious! We also shared some Knotty Knots per the recommendation of our waitress - these garlic knots are garlicky and topped with tomato sauce and melted cheese. A nice addition to the knots! We shared a white spinach pie and we added sausage to it. Their sausage topping for pizza is sliced and has nice flavor! The crust was thin and crispy and tasted great. This pizza was a garlicky mouth full! We may have went too hard on the garlic here but that's on us LOL! Food was delicious, service great, and prices are fair. The food is excellent here and I have eaten there baked penne many times. It taste like lasagna without without meat, which is how I prefer lasagna. Their actual lasagna is made with sausage and I don't eat pork so the penne pasta works great for me. They don't open until four every day, which is the downside if you want to go for lunch. read more

Really Small Place with Amazing Food and People! A small, casual spot that's great for grabbing a quick bite. The staff was friendly and down-to-earth, and the menu had plenty of good options. It's a typical beachside restaurant, but being right by the water and within walking distance of our hotel made it especially convenient. First time in and we couldn't have been happier. Very casual atmosphere but clean and neat. Kristi stopped over quickly for our drink order. Wife was happy to get a Sailfish lager. Perusing the menu this isn't your average pizza joint. We settled on the Chicken Milanese. Two lightly breaded chicken breasts topped with house mad mozzarella, a tomato slice, sautéed spinach, Asiago cheese and cream sauce with fettuccine and a red sauce. OMG it was amazing! Summary: probably good place if you like lasagna, but unimpressed with the actual pizza. Smelled amazing when we walked in. Almost full but friendly staff were able to seat us right away. No other tables were having pizza. Mostly big plates of lasagna & pasta -- all looked good but I was there to try the pizza. Ordered one of several "meat-lover" types on the menu. It was ... ok. I think meant for people who use a knife & fork to eat pizza. Crust was soggy and it fell apart. I mean, yeah, it's a meat lovers, but it's pizza. I should be able to eat it with hands. When we arrived last nite, there were several people outside. We thought they were waiting for a table. My husband and I went inside to give them our name which they took despite the place being filled w smoke and an acrid burning smell. The people outside had vacated the interior and were waiting for the smoke situation to dissipate; they said it was awful. We are from out of town, first time we went there was about a year ago, and it was very enjoyable authentic flavors that last visit. The pizza and other items was very good. But this visit the food was all served in takeout containers which I thought was very poor presentation and ambience, also it didn't feel welcoming . The pizza was presented in a pizza cardboard box , the main dishes were served in aluminum take out containers, the dessert was the cannolis and they were put in a Styrofoam takeout container. Therefore presentation was very poor. We ordered the veal Parmesan and it was very thin meat , tough with to much breading and over fried. Can you imagine eating veal parm in an aluminum container? It was also not good and the poorly cooked portion of spaghetti was like a cup size and it was pricy . The prices are above average cost , too high for the food presented . I don't think we will go back again . They have what it takes with good recipes last time we went maybe our dinner was just an off day ? Do they always serve in take out containers nowadays , or was it because we were there nearer to closing? Either way poor choice of presentation . read more

We have gone back to PIZZA doodles six times since we moved in one year ago. It is consistently good PIZZA especially when you sit down and eat a fresh pie ...as most pizza does it loses something in translation when you bring it home. The service is always great and the ambience is that of an old-fashioned traditional very busy local pizza place it's not fancy or particularly special but for some reason, I always get a great vibe being there. I heard that they made eggplant Parmesan heroes which is not that common in Vero Beach for some bizarre reason so I rushed over to get it and I liked it very much ...however it's not what I would consider a hero. In New York they're much bigger & on a dense Italian bread. This was on a softer roll-more like a soft French bread I think ? and it's small like a sandwich rather than a hero ...but again quite tasty ...and that's all we've had here- PIZZA ( house salad) and this sub and... we are gonna continue to go back. We like it very much. Also the salad dressing the creamy garlic is phenomenal like worth buying a batch to bring home. read more

When I moved to Vero Beach 5 years ago from Broward County, someone told me that I have to try Pizzoodles. I tried several times but it always seemed to be closed whenever we were in the area. Tonight I finally made it. We ordered the meatball appetizer, wedge salad and the pizzoodle pizza. The meat balls were ok. The sauce and cheese were good but they were watery as if they are kept warm in water and then thrown in the sauce when served. The wedge salad was good and it had a balsamic drizzle which added a nice tang. The pizza had meatballs and spaghetti on it. The crust was outstanding and crisp and had no flop. Overall, we had a good experience and I would recommend that you give it a try. read more

Cozy, small family feel pizza place with great service and yummy pizza. We started with the greek salad which was big enough for three to have as a pre-pizza appetizer. The Fire Station pizza was delicious, great crust and not too saucy. Cheese was melty and the pizza was very fresh, also amazing with the garlic ranch. We ended our meal with the chocolate cake which was ginormous. You wouldn't believe the size unless you get the slice yourself. The cake was still cold when it was served to us so the texture wasn't perfect, but the cake was still tasty. Drink selection is small, with one or two beers on tap - but very pleased to see they have Coca Cola products. We would happily come back to this small, family-owned restaurant! read more

She ordered the calamari as a starter and i had the escarole soup. Both were flavorful and very good. The calamari was incredibly garlicky but still good. She ordered the fettuccine bolognese. The sauce wasn't very good and was slightly burnt. I ordered the spaghettini with chicken spiked pesto meatballs. It was good but nothing worth 19.95. My brother was in town and we decided we wanted pizza on Sunday night with Mom. Pizzoodles was in order. They ordered the Greek pizza (I showed up late). It wasn't my first choice, but it was great, even though my slice was cold I had to pick off the banana peppers too. I would have suggested the white pizza with spinach, or the Margherita.
