Big slices, solid crust, cheesy, greasy in the way beach pizza should be. Nothing out of this world or "best pizza I've ever had" territory, but still enjoyable and satisfying. Calzone was very good. Baked ziti was a nice portion and had salad and garlic knots. Chicken tenders and fries were good for the kiddo.

Our group showed up at 7:50pm on Saturday night and staff was visibly and verbally upset that we were there so close to closing. (They close at 9pm) we were there over an hour before they close. One staff member went as far to curse multiple times saying "this is F****** ridiculous, we're gonna be here another F****** hour this is total B*******! F*** this S***!".... We were out of there and fed by 9:00. Our group tipped 20%+ even though we were treated with such contempt. Don't expect much on quality or value. The pizza is never cooked enough, if you order extra toppings they are expensive and very sparce, I ordered a veggie pie with extra onions and mushroom. Cost was almost $30 there were 13 slices of mushroom on the whole pie and 8 leaves of spinach. Not clumps actual individual leaves. 8 tiny slivers of onion. Located on the southside of Vero beach side and a small little building which appears to be an old house. The location is a bit small inside. Which makes the line appear really long. The service here is pretty good and the people behind the counter are in a hurry get you in and out as they understand lunch rush the lot of workers only have a limited amount of time. The staff is friendly the food is good only reason for any complaint that lost one star was it they don't offer refills on Fountain drinks. $0.75 for a refill is a little harsh when gas stations have a larger cup for only .79 cents. read more

My family and I were at the beach and saw this little places after pulling out. We stopped to grab some food and we're def not sorry! The pizza was delicious and perfectly foldable. The boneless wings were spicy and tangy/vinegary (which is my preference), so good . I went in here last night. I asked the lady at the counter to please warm up a slice for just a minute bc I didn't want it too hot. She told me no, that it would take a few minutes and come out hot and if I don't like it I can just blow on it. After waiting a couple of minutes are realizing that she was insisting on making my food hot I asked for it again, the cashier was defiant and rolled her eyes. I had to demand she take the food out of the oven, which I didn't enjoy doing. I'm very good at making 18" pies in my home pizza oven. My dough is fermented with natural cultures. I use all of the best ingredients. I do NYC's, Chicago's, Detroit's and Sicilian's. It's a passion and maybe a future business. Soon I will leave the New Jersey/NYC/CT area where I have had some of the "Best" pies. If that means anything. This is easily the best pizza in Vero. They make a real 18". I would develop the gluten a little more in the dough so the crust is a little more chewy but when I'm Jones'n for a pie I will come here. read more

This place is a wonderful little hidden gem right off the beach road. We went to Vero Beach for a weekend getaway and wanted a quick lunch when we arrived. I can't be more sincere when I the pizza might possibly be the BEST pizza I've ever eaten in 56 years! The chicken ranch sub and cheesesteak Philly were also delicious. The homemade chicken salad is another winner. We had such a great experience the first visit we went back for dinner the next night. Everything is homemade/made from scratch. The owner is a delightful woman who throws the dough to make the pizza crust and runs the business like a champ. The staff are all so nice, friendly, and genuinely seem to like their jobs. They actually engage with the customers, which is almost impossible to find in the day and age. It was my bf's birthday on our second visit there and they treated him to a most amazing tiramisu for a treat. The restaurant is small with only a handful of tables inside, and several picnic tables outside where you can enjoy your slice or sub while basquing in the glorious sunshine and enjoying the ocean breeze. I would also add this--my bf got some sauce on his shirt while eating and the lovely cashier noticed him looking at it. She offered him her personal Tide stick to treat the stain! I already posted a 4 star review for this place and I won't change that because the pizza is good. However,after going there 2 more times since my first visit, I want to suggest that they do some cleaning up of the exterior of the building and perhaps some paint as well. A dirty, unkempt exterior makes me wonder if they are as untidy in the kitchen. It sends a poor and worrisome message. read more

We also didn't want to eat in a bar, so we passed on a nearby lounge. Walking less than 1/4th mile, we stopped in at South Beach Pizzeria; and, went to the counter to order a few slices. Unfortunately, they weren't doing slices at supper, so we ordered a 14-inch Pizza with Half Pepperoni for our daughter and Half Meat Lovers for me and my wife. For drinks, our daughter and I got soft drinks from the fountain; and, my wife got a bottle of water. We dined in, so my wife ordered a side salad; and, devoured it while I took a call outside. We all shared the pizza, which was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Everyone in the restaurant was raving about how good the pizza was; and, we agree.
